I saw The Picture of Dorian Gray and Ed Wood yesterday. Johnny as Ed reminded me so much of his Willy Wonka role. Same teeth and voice, practically. O__O Dorian Gray was a '73 version, but it was really really really good.

Pulp Fiction was a really good movie. A little odd, but very good. Especially that part where they get locked up in that pawn shop, and the cop comes and rapes the mob boss. Okay, if a movie called "Minimum Wage" comes out evver, go see it. That is the movie my brother is making right now, as an underground film director. Plus I'm in it : ) OH, and I just finished King Kong right now, The special effects are really good.

Dang... I haven't seen any of those. D:
I saw Pan's Labyrinth and Bridge to Terabithia yesterday. Pan's Labyrinth was bloody and surprisingly graphic, but it was a beautiful story with awesome character designs for the magical creatures. Bridge to Terabithia was equally beautiful and moving, but... gah. I advize anyone who knows the pain of losing a close friend at a young age to bring lots and lots of tissues. It opened an old wound of mine with a vengence, and I broke down sobbing like a sap in the theater.

Ah, I adored seeing Pan's Labyrinth! The faun was my favourite. I cant wait for it to come on dvd, with all the behind the scenes extras. It was really neat because when I went to see it, I had the theatre all to myself. Cant beat that. The last time I had a theatre all to myself was when I saw Titanic, heh.

Titanic was the first movie to make me cry, too. The part where that kid is crying in the middle of the flooded hallway and Jack and Rose find him all alone, oh man. That was awful. The water rushing in, that poor boy's face. That was it for me. I lost it. And then his dad comes and takes him away, only to meet a wall of water. Gaaaah.
Anyways. <<;;;;

See, thats just it. Movies that usually make people cry, they don't ever make me cry. I sometimes ask myself why they don't make me sad. A actually fought to keep myself awake during the Passion of the Christ. Am i a bad person?

I saw Ghost Rider on Friday. I did like it but I didn't. I kept jumping at everything because of the demon like things popping out. It was kinda demonic but the story was well written and the CG was awesome. Anyone else see it?

Titanic made me cry too. Gaaaaaah. That part and then in the end he's just there, still holding her wrist but he's frozen and she just has to let him drown...and then in the very end, she just drops the necklace into the sea, returning it to it's rightful place, and then she meets him again at the top of the stairs...*is a sap*
I saw Tristan and Isolde...two weekends ago? It's so sad. T__T But it's really good.
My friends and I had the theatre to ourselves when we saw The Prestige. That was a pretty good movie. Kinda slow in the beginning but when it picked up it was really intriguing. I liked it. ^^
Bridge to Terabithia...I loved the book. <3. It was sad too, made me cry. *wants to go see the movie*will go prepared with tissues*

Well, Ive never seen Passion. But different movies affect people in different ways. It doesnt really need to be something sad per se, but maybe something poigniant, touching, or just really unfair or plain sad/depressing. It all depends on what pulls at your heartstrings, or strikes a familiar chord with something thats happened in your own life, I do suppose. *shrug* Sometimes it takes a while for it to really register in your brain and make your eyes tear up.

I liked the Brothers Grimm but my parents won't let me buy it. They think it's to weird. I love the stories to it was cool to see it all tied into one movie. I did like the Passion but I only watched it once because I broke down in tears. Makes me so sad.
