Full Name: Angela[/i] Angela’s wisdom is constantly referenced in any scene the witch appears. She commands incredible knowledge of events, both past and present, and always seems to know information she should not know. Many turn to her for reason and advice; few underestimate the extent of her knowledge. (Much of this ties back to her age – clearly she is old enough to have witnessed many events prior to and during the Riders’ fall.)

Personality and Appearance:
On many occasions when she met others, she was known to be eccentric, witty, and filled with knowledge. On the whole, she approved of the Varden's motives, but her basis for joining them was still unknown, though said that she liked to be where things were happening. Although Angela did not appear intimidating or powerful, she had shown to be extremely adept in magic and surprisingly a skilled fighter; she protected herself from the child Elva's mental abilities (something even Eragon was not immune to), stated that the Twins would be driven mad if they even tried to breach her mind, and has killed Kull and Urgals in hand-to-hand combat. She wore green and black armor that, based on descriptions from Eragon, appears to be metal. Angela's armor has been described as "outlandish flanged armor enameled black and green.", (a reference to witches, whose colors are said to be green, brown, and black). As it would seem to be impossible to enamel leather, all evidence points to Angela's armor having been metal, probably steel. Angela also wore a red cape over her armor during the Battle Under Farthen Dur. Angela fought using the Hûthvír she obtained from a member of Dûrgrimst Quan in a game of riddles. Angela could speak the Urgal language and a small amount of the Ancient Language. She enjoyed knitting, particularly as she could create items of clothing useful to her specifically (for example, the sweater with Dvalar's ward against rabbits). King Halfpaw (the Werecat King) despised her though many Werecats didn't seem to share his views, there are those who also dislike her. She was known for having quarrels with the sorcerer Trianna.

Not-So-Brief History:Shop, TeirmThe shop is located in Teirm next to Jeod's house. It is where she makes a living by fortune-telling for the richer people of Teirm and by selling potions and by trying to prove that the toad in her hand was really a frog. Eragon walks into the shop, strangely attracted to it. Solembum, her werecat companion, speaks through his mind - prophecias - to Eragon before she offers a reading of knuckle bones, which explores the love and peril ahead of him.Tronjheim, Farthen DûrAngela has taken up residence in Tronjheim, a city located in a mountain of Farthen Dûr that holds the Varden. She fights with the Varden when the Urgals attacked and heals most of Eragon's injuries after the battle, but is unable to completely heal the wound on his back from Durza.SurdaAngela watches over Elva, the witch child that Eragon unknowinglly cursed.Battle, Burning PlainsAt the battle against Empire's soldiers and the Varden, Angela appears after poisoning the enemy army's food and water supply, in order to give the Varden any advantage against Galbatorix's larger forces.LaterShe kills the high priest of Helgrind after whispering her other name to him, which shook 'it' with fear.
Anything extra:
Appear where the action is happening- Angela has managed to appear suddenly wherever core events are occurring. From Tierm to the Varden’s various war camp, the witch has witnessed it all.
Dragon knuckle bones- There’s no denying the rarity of possessing bones of a fallen dragon. Angela has not revealed where these bones have come from, but it’s safe to say that few in Alagaësia possess such items.
Hated by the werecats- This was because of a spell Angela had previously placed on him - he could utter nothing but birdsong for over a week.
