Rorans parts were sometimes boring, true... but it was nice at times to seperate from Eragon.

I liked both of them, but I prefer Eldest, because you can tell the Paolini has matured with his writing skills, and he adds so much more detail than before. =]

Roran's story was really boring . . .
I liked Eldest better because of the one scene which ought to have been burned into everyone's memory and the fact that Eragon writes poetry about Durza. Not exactly good poetry, but anyway . . . *gets dragged out of the gutter*

Hmm...I guess Eragon simply because I like how it introduces the trilogy. Also *though I think it added a lot* Eldest was a little less action and more information and story development...though I was like OMGOSH! when they said that Murtagh was Eragon's brother. I read them in like three days too, tehe

I liked both, Eragon because it was so thrilling to become part of this world that CP had imagined. And Eldest becuase i thought that the book was just pure amazing. And the parts of roran got in the way of the book.... But only becuase so much was happening to eragon that you just wanted to know what was happening next, but the roran parts were really good after the second or third read. I really cant wait till the next one comes out. It should be the best of the three if he keeps maturing with his writing like he has.
