we already talked about romance in Eragon's future............does anyone think Saphira will find anypne?

I do, Saphira probibly will find someone. Whatever happens, unless they find more dragons all that inbreeding won't be good for their race. But, we really don't know much about dragons so it could be okay.

Of course she'll find someone (ie the green dragon that will be hateched in Empire (the third and final book)). We already know that the green dragon will be male.. can't remember where I read that, but he will be, and in the end he and Saphira will be a cute "couple". Yay for Valentines Day! (Not..)

Murtagh said he was male in the fight against Eragon, but i dont know how you know he's green. Maybe Thorn will........no, that's not possible

I forget if it was revealed somewhere in the book, or if it was announced, but yes, the last dragon is green.

Well it is a rumor that the last Dragon will be green and the book will be called Empire, a rather persisitent and well touted rumor, so it is quite a possibility unless CP decides to not make it green to spite the rumor. (CP: Oh you guys got PWNED!!! Didn't see that one coming, now did ya?)

yeah. its green. CP said so. and it'll erm...face the right? i think.....green dragon facing some direction. and yeah. 99% the title is "empire" either that or "bubbles for buckfish" which was also a rumour at one time much like "pillar of storge"  |

I thought it was going to be yellow, if you look at the three background colors on shurtugal(sp?).com you will see yellow it looks like the pictures on the front of the book.

that is because shurtugal's mascot is a yellow dragon by the same name, or less likely, because of Glaedr

Maby there are other dragons in other places. Remember Angela told him that he would leave Alagaesia and never return. Maby that is where Saphira will meet her "True love."

I personally think that Saphira will mother the new race of dragons and that in the third book Eragon kills murtagh and steels the egg.

I think thorn will die, along with murtaugh. The book saifd, "The dragoninside Galbatorix's last egg, the last dragon in the world, is male." i think that Greeney will not be Saphira's mate. I think that eragon will honour his word to Saphira and together they will search the world for a sutiable mate for her.

I think the last egg will hatch for Arya and she and eragon along with their dragons will leave the nation because they realive that the riders are to dangerous.

I don't think it will be Arya personally... that would be too obvious. But I think the green dragon and Saphira will fall in love, yes. I think Eragon will eventually have to kill Murtagh, and when he dies Murtagh apologizes and Eragon forgives him and all...

Do you think Eragon will then have him cremated on a big pyre with small, stupid, furry, brown creatures dancing around and space-debris falling from the sky? Ack, the current semblance to Star Wars is already enough, plus I hate endings where the uber-cool bad guy goes soft in the ending... I would prefer if they die kicking and slashing and swearing the whole way through, better yet, Eragon die and Murtagh survives and Surda is crushed alongside the traitorous Varden including the infernal Elves and Dwarves and once again, peace is restored to Alagaesia.
