(Sorry for taking so long to put this second one but the internet here in the stupid hotel keeps crashing)
"My name is Vlaer," said Vlaer flatly, "and this is the dragon whom I'm bonded to." Hearing the mental conversation between Anira and her dragon, Belgabad said "If you wish it O' Fair Lady, Vlaer could make you a saddle."

Anira flickered her attention to Vlaer with intense curiosity and hopefulness, cringing at the thought of having to endure multiple scrapes and bruises along her thighs again. Whenever she's upon Hérion, any sense of pain fades away such as mist in the morning sunlight, but it didn't mean she didn't feel sore afterwards.
A slight grin touched the edge of her lips as she stated,"I'd be most honored, Argetlam and Brightscales. Being flayed after every ride isn't very pleasant, though I don't have any supplies that'd work just as well."
Hérion hummed in response and chirped in,"We'd be very grateful to you if you did so. If it means that Anira and I could drift along the drifts, float along the horizon like a hawk, and slither through the sky as easily as a snake again, then by all means I have my word to help with whatever needs to be done.
Anira smiled fully at the end of his statement, examining one of his scales with her thumb to pass the time. "Well, shall we get this stew a' broiling?"

Smiling Vlaer responded "There is no need to trouble yourself, I shall craft a duplicate of my own saddle with magic." Having already been into both Anira and Herion's minds Belgabad said, "You wish to be unknown to the world, and so we shall comply. We do not wish to be a burden on you,"-though Belgabad was around 3-5 times older than Herion and Vlaer 5 times older than Anira-"we shall accompany you however and teach you, is that fine with you?"

The two spoke with each other for a moment, concluding to the fact that their travels were to be discussed there and then. Anira was a little wary of saying too much, though Hérion convinced her to relay the truth to Aysten and Vlaer.
"We don't know where we shall go. Though you are all welcome to accompany us, and furthermore, teach us Vlaer - and Aysten." Anira drew away her hand from Hérion's course, yet smooth, scales and pulled herself into a cross-legged position. Her hair tumbled around over her shoulders and back, an unclear fury of violet and ebony that fought to establish their color against one another. One minute in the light it could seem ebony, another moment a shade in between, and the next a brilliant shade that matched Hérion.
Her clear-like gaze seemed to be stripped of all color except for the one darkened rim, which flickered from each moving sight that she detected in the night.
"Oromis, taught me my magic abilities, but I-" she cut herself off abruptly, seemingly distraught with the fact that he had cast her away for a Rider to train. It had been the rider Eragon, though there wasn't any reason he could teach both of them.
Anira pulled herself upward with simple ease, and asked Aysten,"Would you like me to help with the stew?"

His eyes wide and Belgabad snorting smoke with surprise they both said in a cold low voice "If you have been taught by our pupils..then we are glad. Then composing himself, he said, "Come, let us make the stew and not talk about such horrible matters." Vlaer smiled and climbed down a little off Belgabad's back before jumping down for Belgabad was too high for him to be able to jump down without almost breaking his leg comfort.

"My apologies." Anira muttered quietly, though audibly through the harsh chill of the night. It seemed that a frost was going to set in over night, and her breath was already leaving wisps of smoke that rose higher and higher till it was no more.
She quietly retrieved a few herbs and spices form her saddlebag, turned on her heels and handed them to Aysten. "You have yet to speak of yourselves, Vlaer and Belgabad, if you wish to do so that is."
Hérion watched the group in unsteady silence, resting his head gently on his scaly forelegs. He kept his unusual violet eyes on Anira at all times, in case any funny business was involved in the matters. It was his soul priority to protect her, at all cost, and he knew she'd much rather do the same in a difficult situation. Together, they were strong, though separate, no one knows how the two would react.

"No need to apologise Anira." Said Vlaer, "and about me and Belgabad?" he sighed and together they began with Vlaer first, "I don't know who my father or mother are-" "though when he was in Ellesmera he was adopted-" "by Lord Fiolr a leader of one of the houses and whenever I questioned him he would say-" "that they were honerable people." "As for Belgabad..his egg was found by Oromis and Glaedr who gave it to me-" "and afterwards I hatched." Vlaer said, "I am 552 years old, and Belgabad is 460 physical years." Belgabad then continued, "You may not trust us after this, however we support the Varden, though we shall not tell them of you Anira or Herion." Then, Vlaer walked up to Belgabad and sang in the ancient language until he had a perfect replica of his saddle. Then he walked over to Anira and gave her the heavy saddle. "And now, tell us of yourselves." He said as he climbed onto Belgabad where he lied down.

Aysten ran back to his camp for a couple minutes while the two riders spoke with eachother. When he returned aysten heard her say she didnt know where she would go and aysten quickly had an idea.
"Oh i know a place you can go. Along the ramr river there are many large caves along thhe way which is why the river is so favored by river pirates.... but since the start of the war and all the men being taken away thhe pirates cant find men to crew there ships which leaves many of these caves vacant. We could even light a fire in there for when the citizens of bullridge see it they will only suspect we are pirates and with a lack of men they cant attack us. We could even buy suplies there."Aysten said perking up. He also thought of the other things in those caves and smiled slightly to himself that would be a pleasent suprise.
Then aysten moved towards the fire and poured some water in his pot he had. Then searching around in his pack he pulled out many spices and herbs and then he poured in a bit of red wine he had. Then letting the broth boil and simmer aysten set out to cut several large potatoes and carrots and several other greens. Then tossed them into the stew.
With that done aysten looked around in his pack for one of his mugs and poured himself some red wine and then looked across the fire to anira "would you two like some wine? I have plenty and i have a couple mugs with me."Aysten asked as a delicious smell filled the camp

Watching the magician, both Vlaer and Belgabad inspected him. Wondering whether he really meant Anira and Herion well, they decided to figure it out and began to hammer down the defenses on his mind, for they were certain they would be able to destroy them if neccessarry however preferred to do so with his permission.

Due to aystens razac blood pendant when there minds flew towards his they passed straight past aysten as if he wasnt there. But aysten felt the presance for a brief second and turned away from the stew an angry look on his face.
Keeping his semi cool aysten looked at them with acusing eyes. "Didnt anyone ever teach you it was rude to try and invade some ones mind?"Aysten said looking acusingly toward the rider. He briefly grasped at the pendant around his neck and breathed a sigh of relief that he had it.

Staring at the magician with cold pale blue eyes both Vlaer and Belgabad decided to do something about the pendant. Wondering what they would be able to do, Belgabad had an idea "Why don't you just levitate it towards you with magic?" asked Belgabad. Vlaer responded with a shake of his head, "He must have wards around himself and his pendant.." Then Vlaer drew forth Oblivion (his sword) which was crafted by Rhunon herself. The obsidian black blade shimmered just as Belgabad's black scales did. Walking up to the magician he slashed at the pendant knowing the spells on Oblivion would destroy his wards. They then quickly began to attempt to raid his mind again with their ancient minds and immense strength. "You shall not best me in a mental war, boy. We were old long before you were born." Growled Belgabad and Vlaer together.

Aysten backed away. Angry as vlaer slashed at him and he narrowly avoided getting his pendant destroyed. He looked over towards anira hoping for aid as he slowly drew his daggers ready to defend himself if needed

Belgabad roared in anger and spread his massive wings blocking all the sunlight slammed his tail in front of the magician to knock him down, however Vlaer stopped the move with magic. Confused, Belgabad looked at Vlaer who shook his head.
Vlaer then decided that killing this magician in an attempt to determine whether he meant well or not wouldn't end well for he had no wish to murder unless he had to. Sheathing Oblivion he said "Pardon us, we did not wish to anger you, however if you would, we wish access to just your feelings of hostility to inspect them and make sure that they aren't towards me, Belgabad, Herion, or Anira.

"The idea of the caves interest me, I must say. No one would be able to happen to come across us as easily it did between you two, correct? I can't afford to have anyone untrustworthy to discover our location."
" Motioned in Hérion and Anira at exactly the same time, one sing-song voice matched with a deeper and yet similar one.
Anira remained silent throughout the procedure and quietly spoke to Vlaer in certain,"If he meant to harm me, he would have done it the moment I leaned over to heal him. Anyone could have pulled out a dagger and stabbed me, though it didn't mean I'd die." I could always heal myself.
The situation didn't involve Anira, so it was only polite to keep out of the boiling feelings that rumbled around the two. A small growl from Hérion erupted from him as Belgabad aimed to attack Aysten, though with a small smile, Anira noticed the slight twitch of the lips and there appeared an invisible barrier to block the blow.
"Aysten," she spoke in an overly-cool manner,"let him be, fighting will only make him more suspicious; you have nothing to hide do you? Oh, and thank you kindly for the stew. You make quiet the chef, I must say."

"Aysten watchhed the ancint rider with flames in his eyes and then he turned away for a second took a deep breath and then a second before shoving his daggers into there sheaths and then he spun on heel and stared at him again the flames gone now.
"You think that after you tried to break into my mind by force....the one place that i can confide. You think....that after you did that and then ask nicely i will let you in? Well sorry but that isnt the case."Aysten then turned and looked at anira and the sighed abit before continuing in the ancient language. "I have many things to hide....everyone does. But as i said before i mean no harm to you or your dragon."Aysten turned back to vlaer for a moment and shot a dagger glance at him before turning fully to the stew. Stirring it for moment he finally proclaimed "its done. I have some wooden bowls in my pack if you will get them. And no. We may have to clear out a couple pirates...but otherwise it will be completely safe....many of the caves are large enough to fit a village in them since they go underground."

Anira gently touched his mind, almost like a quiet knocking for permission inside. Her mind seemed foreign and filled with beautiful music compared to most, though she wasn't trying to read his memories or take away his own identity. She wouldn't do that without permission, or unless it was an enemy wizard that had the guts to interfere with her memories.
Thank you. It slipped past into his mind before she quickly retreated, and then it was almost as if nothing happened.
She slowly got to her feet, running her soft hand along Hérion's scales until she felt not more than the cool air chilling the tips of her fingers. Reaching into his case hesitantly, Anira felt the smooth touch of sanded wooden bowls. Anira pulled out three bowls, tossing one over the fire towards Vlaer, handing one to Asyten, and keeping one to herself as she retreated back to the spot she was moments before.
"Ah, about myself -" Anira continued on from a past question from Vlaer, that felt forgotten after the conflict between Aysten and him. "There is not much to say about myself. Where should I start?"

Aysten froze as he felt the touch of a foreign mind. And then he relaxed and turned towards anira slightly and nodded. Then turning he grabbed his stirring spoon and poured a large helping into anira and vlaers bowl and then he turned again and poured a little in his own bowl before moving back and grasping his mug of wine. He took a sip and then looked at anira and thought for a moment.
"Where did you get those daggers?"Aysten asked curiously as it caught the firelight. They seemed similar to his own and that made him curious

"A herbalist with the name of Angela, and her companion known as Solembum. Quite a strange were-cat he is, y'know. Both quite a strange pair that is." Anira smiled slightly at the memory of their meeting, before slowly recalling the day that she met the two.
"It started as a normal day in Ellesméra, first I went off to the training course for a while to practice some swordplay, and while I was walking off towards the city I caught the eye of a were-cat. There is quite a few located in Ellesméra, but I had never seen that certain one before, so I paced up to politely introduce myself. We exchanged greetings and during a small conversation we had gotten ourselves into, Angela wandered along with quite a problem on her hands." Anira paused and twiddled with her thumbs before continuing,"She was convinced that there was only frogs, and no toads. I agreed given the circumstance, mentioning that "Frogs" should be a main name for the whole species, and from there the various types should have different names on down. Ah, the expression of satisfaction on her features amazed me. It was almost like a test. The following morning I found a package from Angela on my doorstep."
Anira slowly sipped some stew from the bowl, enjoying the variety of tastes and flavors that were mixed in between. She could even locate the hint of wine that he had added into the stew. It was surprisingly delicious actually. Setting the bowl down into her lap, she ran her eyes through the grooves and irregular patterns on the bark.

Aysten smiled as she relayed hher story. And then took a sip of his own stew.
When he looked up he then turned over and looked at vlaer and saw problems that could arise later on between them and quickly wanted to solve them.
"Angela huh? She stopped by my home town once. She even read my fortune."Aysten said his eyes appeared to soften for a moment and then he turned back towards vlaer. "You say you want to get into my mind to see if i have any ill feelings towards anira and heron yes? Well then if it will solve our problem i will allow them to search my mind. And only them." Aysten said finally trying to promote peace. He then took a quick gulp of his soup and reached around his neck and yanked off his pendant before tossing it into the fire

"A determined, yet stupid, action to do by throwing a useful pendant in the blaze. What if you need it someday?" Anira motioned in quietly as her eyes locked in on the arc of the pendant before the satisfying sizzle of the fire ensured no safe return of the pendant.
Anira was quite amused by the situation, especially with the little feud between the two. Men were so much more competitive it seemed, foolish in many ways, though their bravery and determination led them to do remarkable things. Even the elves enjoyed the fierce feeling of fire that rippled inside of one another like an approaching way during the heat of battle.
Propped up against Hérion, she slowly gripped some snow from the edge of the clearing and washed out the bowl. Anira set it aside for Asyten to retrieve if he so wished to do so.
"Good night, you three." Hérion enclosed Anira in the warm sanctuary under his wind and the two murmured their good nights, but only after repeating their feelings and concerns over the caves, Aysten, Vlaer and Belgabad, and many other problems that could arise from the situation. It seemed to work for the two, keeping their bond close would only ensure a great connection. Though upon the time death due them part, it'd only make the farewell even more painful. Both refused to even think of such days, agreeing to live in the present instead of the future or past.
