As he shifted his back to the lonely Rider, he silently touched his mind and said "I do not wish to leave you, and I mean no offense. Meet me after this in the deep forest." He sent an image where they would meet, for he wished to talk with the Rider.

 Rerukusu had guarded his mind but feeling Vlaer touch him he allowed him to speak. "I will be there before the eve of sunset. I can no longer travel as fast as you," he said relaying an image of him riding his horse there. Without a dragon traveling seemed to take forever. It wasn't much longer before Rerukusu found what he was looking for. An intact Raz'ac egg. He smiled and tucked the egg away into a sack he'd brought with him. At least his trip here hadn't fully been wasted. He kept his mind closed from all prying minds, no one would know what he'd found here. He headed out of Helgrind to fetch his horse and stash the egg in his saddle bags before headed to the deep forest to meet with Vlaer. |
