Full Name: Elden Brightscales
Other name: Sun Mirror. Eclipse
Race: Dragon (Eldunari now)
Race: Dragon (Eldunari now)
How were you discovered?!: (RP will be down below) Ty found the dragon's stone.
Side: Varden (However, only after he meets Ty)
Stance on the war: The dragon hates war, in fact, usually wants nothing to do with it. He believes that a rider shouldn't show any support for any activist movement, however. Due to the fact that Galbitorix had wrought massive destruction on the order of the dragons, brought the race to near extinction, and killed his rider, he's more determined then ever to wage war on the mighty king. He will do anything within his power to assist whoever holds him to fight the empire, and he will make sure that they're crushed by the time it's all said and done.
Birthplace: In the Du Weldenvarden, he was hatched from a massive egg, and bound to an elven warrior.
Age: 356
Gender: Male
Eyes: Bright blue
Scales: Elden's scares are magnificently bright, they're radiance is cast out, blinding almost anyone who sets eyes upon this glorious dragon.
Personality: Elden is what you would call, wise. Simply, every decision he makes, revolves around a quick logical analysis. He always looks at the bigger picture, rather then the obstacle. He's relentless, and never gives up. Grief tears at his soul, but he intends on remaining strong, to carry out his rider's goal. Very loyal, and extremely friendly to those who are polite and respectful. He doesn't tolerate cruelness, rudeness, and arrogance. He tends not to praise anyone, and always pushes those around him to their max potential. He's very stern, and his voice is very deep, almost monstrous. However, there are hints of his strength, and wisdom hidden within his voice.
Appearance: Elden's legs are massive, completely covered in layers of muscle. His tail like a brutal weapon, covered in brilliant gleaming scales. His torso is slim, however his lower body is hefty from large meals needed to sustain the gentle beast. His talons are massive, and capable of cutting through the strongest of metals. Spikes protrude from the giant's neck, as well as the base of the dragon's trunk. The dragon's eyes are a bright blue, almost that of the sky. His head is rather large compared to his body, some would guess to say that's because of all the knowledge he's obtained in the past years.
Likes: The elven nation, His own brethren, flying, revenge, those of a pure heart, over achievers.
Dislikes: Galbatorix, (who killed his rider.) Any rider who fights with the empire, those who let their pride over take them. thingyy, arrogant.
Not-So-Brief History:
It was a warm morning, and the sky was just now breaking out into sunset. Light beamed off of the dragon's scales as he lifted his mighty maw, his eyes flickering in the light as he caught a disturbance in the wind. He allowed himself to sniff around, sensing the gathering of many dragons, tame and wild. With a might roar, he awoke his rider. His Rider's name was Lenthius, a common elf. The elf had discovered Elden in a thicket of trees during one of his many walks. The elf was tall, around 6'4". Blonde hair fell from the man's scalp, to his waist. It was always kept nicely, and groomed. There was no sign of facial hair on the elf, and his eyes were a gentle green. His face was smooth, and his ears pointer then most.
Lenthius shot up, turning his head side to side, startled. He looked down to his palm, the gewdy insignia flaring up. This rider was much like (Ty Darkbane). Very emotional, and always did what he thought was best. He uttered a few magical words, and soon his senses became even more attuned then what they previously were. His face distorted in terror as he listened to the screams of the many riders perishing, dragons slamming against the ground, and the laughter of the foursome. He turned to Elden as they merged minds, trying to figure out the proper cause of action. The dragon insisted that they flee, it was much too late for them to be of any use. However, Lenthius would rather die then allow for his friends to perish without his help.He mounted the golden dragon, and within seconds they found themselves in the air, just over the battle. As Lenthius landed, horror would strike his eyes, followed by anger as he unsheathed his rather large one handed sword. He ran forward, in attempts of striking down Morzan, but due to his rather emotional impulses, he would find himself impaled by two others. He turned, blood seeping from his mouth as he glanced at his beloveded dragon. Elden roared in protest, and attempted to charge in. However, With the last remaining strength, Lenthius called out to his dragon. "Shift into an eldunari, and with your magic, I will send you back to my country." His voice was ragged, and Elden knew he was wasting time. He did as he was told, reluctantly, tears streaming down the dragon's face. Once the dragon had formed into an Eldunari, Lenthius would fall to the ground. The rider ignored the soul chilling pain and raised his hand, uttering the ancient language, as he called on the dragon's magical reserves. The last words spoken by Lenthius being "I love you, stay strong and help defeat Galbitorix for this murderous onslaught. Chose wisely old friend." The dragon soon found himself near the Du Weldenvarden. Ironically, in a thicket of trees, unable to be detected by any who reached out for the presence of others. The dragon knew what he had to do, seal himself from being discovered until HE himself found who would be best suited for his company.
How Ty meets up with the Eldunari:
It was a long distance to travel, but at least Ty knew that he had a fellow companion. The white rider was proving to be quite trustworthy, and Ty couldn't help but smile. He threw his arms behind his head carelessly as both Xion and him tore through the clouds. His eyes glistened in the sunlight, the young rider now bending down as he attempted to wrap his arms around Xion's thick neck. "I'm so glad all is well, I never thought the day would come to where we would actually achieve our dream of meeting the elfs!" Ty exclaimed, extremely joyful. Xion hummed in satisfaction, and dove inwards towards the Earth as he spun in a 360 degree radius. The Red rider threw his hands up, cheering as the adrenaline began coursing through his veins.
"You..YOU" echoed out through Xion's mind, as well as Ty's. Both Rider and Dragon went expressionless, Xion now paused, hoovering in mid air just above a cluster of trees. The voice was rugged, deep and loud. It seemed un-naturally powerful. What ever it was, it beckoned the Rider and Dragon down. Out of sheer curiosity, Ty did just that.Once again, Elden would press himself into Xion / Ty's mind. "Young Rider, you share the same eyes..as Lenthius." spoke Elden, his words warm and kind. Ty was confused, as was Xion. Who was this 'Lenthius that the dragon spoke of? Same eyes, what did all this mean? The voice directed to two to approach a mighty thicket of trees, revealing it's location as it transferred images to Ty. The white rider landed just yards away from Ty, questioning him with a confused glance. The red rider lifted a bright golden diamond of sorts, the light piercing and reflecting the bright colors across the forest. His eyes widened, for he had found an Eldunari. "Young one, I've seen your mind. I've lots to tell you about what you once believed. The empire, isn't the faction fighting for peace, but here, let me show you." And with that, the dragon set in a flow of images, Ty gasped as knowledge filled every crevice of his mind. The rider fell to his knees, as he soon found himself hugging the stone. The dragon soon ended the flow of memories, and spoke once more. "I've been waiting for you, for a long time. One like Lenthius, my former rider. You take pride in your emotions, and you're spirit is so pure. Please, take me along with you. I will share more knowledge, lend my power, and together we will crush the egg smasher!" Roared Elden. Ty turned to Xion, his face blank. "Young one, we can not turn down someone as wise as he. We seek knowledge, and power, and he has that to offer. Besides, we can't just leave one of my own here to whither in time." replied Xion. Ty nodded, and placed the stone in a secure saddle bag on Xion's right side. "Very well, it will be our honor, great one. I'm sure you know my name, and my dragon's, but may i ask yours?" Ty asked, his voice sincere, and kind. Elden paused, before speaking. "Yes, I was once known as.. Elden Brightscales." And with that, the three set off with Aisling. Their journey just now beginning.
