(Alright guys, I'm going to destroy Vaentr, just because it will be interesting with my current plot with Brenton. And this character will have some links to previous characters I have created or currently have.)
Full Name: Kristian Dillonsson
Other name: Kriss
Race: Human/Elf but doesn't know the exact lineage
Side: Varden, he was Empire friendly but that will be explained
Birthplace: Dras Leona
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Birthday: December 4, 1992
Eyes: Greyish blue (Almost silver in the right lighting)
Hair: Hairstyle cut short in the back but he has his bangs cut so that they go an inch below his eyes so that they are rarely seen. His hair is silver (like pure silver)
Weight: 245 pounds but that is muscle mass since he decided that his elven lineage is too exotic. He is built like a pro football player and is badass when fighting
Height: 6 feet and 3 inches
Magic User: He can use magic but he really doesn't like to because he feels like magic is a cheap way to do things. It is his viewpoint that if it takes the same energy to do it like it would physically then he should just do things the old fashioned way. Of course Kriss can use magic when he needs to and it is stronger than a normal human almost as strong as a rider who is two years into training.
Preferred Weapon(s): Twin silver bladed swords of about three feet in total length and are believed to be rider blades but are actually blades that were made by a blacksmith from Grey Folk era. The blades are unable to shatter and can cut through anything that is not protected by magic. The blades are pure silver as well and have diamond hilts with gold tracing along the crossguard.
Appearance: ( I can't find a good pic but think of Hunger Games Cato yet he is more built and not stupid. His appearance is that way and it is epic.
Personality: (Weak willed? Strong hearted? Charismatic? Loner? How do they react with others?) Kriss is a really kind person who believes that he has the right to do anything to take down the Empire since it is there fault he lost everything he cared for. Kriss is calculating and will never back down from a fight against enemies. Yet he is also not impulsive and will not pick a fight as it is that reason that he lost his family.
Likes: Weight lifting, exercise, running, climbing, sword fighting, swimming, Varden, anything not associated with the Empire.
Dislikes: The Empire (That's about it)
Strengths: Physical activity, fighting, horseback riding, making weapons since that is what he enjoys.
Weaknesses: strong magic users, longbowmen, crossbowmen, anyone with longrange abilities, Seductive women from elfin or human (sometimes shade) races
Family:
Father: Dillon Morgansson (Captive to Empire, unsure of living status)
Mother: Chelsey DaughterofIstreae (Deceased)
Fiancee: Siera Daughter of Grace (Outcast, being chased by Shade Bristven)
Daughter: Thalia Daughter of Siera (Infant Outcast)
History: (a couple of paragraphs at least - more for elves/dragon riders etc)
(Alright, I am using the same form of History as Aysten from Nandon)
-Prison Cell in Dras Leona, current time-
Sitting on the cot with a fresh bruise across his face sat the only person who actually knew the history of the young halfling warrior that had helped him. The rider that was in the cell was only in his mid 20's and yet he had fresh gray hair and several sets of wrinkles around his eyes, as well as a cough that wouldn't go away. Light streamed through the barred window that looked out onto the streets and yet it seemed like a cruel joke to the rider for he had already lost the one person who had tried to tear the building apart.
The clang of a bolt and metal door rang forth through the hall outside the barred door and the rider knew that his jailer was back, or maybe it was the interrogator that was normally trying to pry the information from him. Well, Brenton had been holding back and he felt that his two years in the cell was starting to wear down on him. Maybe it was time to give them the information they wanted and allow them to try and find the halfling warrior. With a half-hearted sigh, the Prince stood up and waited for them to arrive. He tried to gather his magic and yet he felt it slip away like water through a pair of hands.
Suddenly, the cell door opened and stepped through the door was the people who had been trying to pry the information from him. A woman stepped through and grinned evily, now that he wasn't delerious, Brenton saw that the woman was around five feet and five inches with a red cape around her shoulders and the insignia of a commanding officer in the Empire army. She had red hair that hung down to her shoulders in a curtain of curls that held little to hide. Her smile was wickedly soft and her eyes were hard. "So you're up, scum of the earth."
Brenton spit out a simple reply. Go to hell, bitch! The next thing he knew was a sharp crack across his throat and the searing pain that ripped through his mind. When he was able to see again, Brenton realized he was on the concrete ground and the woman was kneeling next to him with her hand pressed against his chest. "I don't have time for your silly games. Just tell me what you know of Kristian and how he was able to escape from us." The woman was obviously not very happy and she wanted answers so Brenton relented. He opened his mouth and spoke in a croak. It started around two years ago, back when you were just beginning to become a damned officer. Brenton's eyes grew glistening as he started.
-Two years into the past-
The lights of day gleamed off of the church as Kriss passed by the road that led to the broken wall and demolished buildings. He had heard about so many wars being fought near them, yet he didn't care, for he was going to see his family again. Suddenly a cart drove by and two horses galloped past. Luckily the 17 year old boy was able to stop and wait for them to pass by him. When they were by, Kriss walked across the intersection and kicked up dust when he walked into the tavern and looked around. The bar tender looked up but didn't say anything just yet. Kriss walked to the bar and spoke while a mug of mead was passed to him. "Do you know where Siera is tonight?" The bar tender smiled and just pointed to the back room where there were bedrooms to rent for nights. As Kriss stood up to move, a shout of surprise rose from outside and a toned man stumbled into the building. Kriss wasn't sure but he thought he could see elfin features but then he shrugged and walked to the back room. It was darker in the back, and so he took a lantern off the wall.
"Is that you, Kriss?" the soft voice asked him from a bed that was made up. Kriss chuckled and replied. "I can never sneak up on you. How is Thalia?" He walked toward his fiancee and daughter as he shuttered the lantern. Now that the room was dimly lit by the bed, Kriss was able to see the young lady and little infant girl. He smiled and lay down next to them. Then the shouting rose from out in the main room. Kriss jumped up and drew his swords from under the bed, since he was prepared to save his family. He had already lost his mother and his father had disappeared.
"Go out the back and take a horse out of here." Kriss said as he saw the group of Empire soldiers surrounding the man who had entered earlier. Siera fled and he heard the pounding of horse hooves leading toward the country side out past the city walls. Now he was ready to fight. Kriss barrelled out and raised his swords. "Leave that man alone, Empire soldiers. He is a paying patron here and you have no authority here." The man glanced up and Kriss saw the shock in his eyes after Kriss spoke. Then the soldiers laughed and a woman stepped forth. "You seem too ignorant. We have authority all of Alagaesia as the soldiers of King Galbatorix himself." Then the woman ordered two men to take Kriss captive. With instincts only, Kriss bashed both men in the temples before they made it to him. They fell and the woman looked shocked. Then she took off out of the tavern surrounded by her soldiers.
-Present time in the Cell-
"I remember that part, you insolent fool. I was there." The woman seethed as her captive continued to ramble about what she already knew.
-Two years ago, after the tavern-
Kriss spoke to the man as he walked along the back roads of Dras Leona. You do realize that you just angered the very men who wish to kill us all. Now they will kill you as well as the woman and girl you were talking to earlier. Kriss turned on the man and shouted. "How do you know about anything? I just saved you and now you dare to threaten me. Well I demand to know why it is that they wanted you so badly." Suddenly the man looked up into the air and watched as a giant blue dragon landed. It was a glittering blue mass, and he was shocked to see the man with such an angry boy. You are yelling at one who can help you. Little child, don't anger those who are stronger than you. That was when a shade appeared and laughed in her strange manner. It was no problem for Kriss to understand the shade, but a dragon was there. Now there were strange things happening around him.
The man glared at the dragon and then spat at the shade. Leave us demon, or I will kill you now. The shade laughed as she stepped forward and thrust her hand forward. The blue dragon burst into flames and the rider gasped in pain as he tried to extinguish the black flames surrounding the beast. Then he fell to his knees and soon the flames burnt out to show that the dragon was gone. Kriss just gaped and then turned to flee when he realized his legs wouldn't move. I think you need to stay, child. This is because you aided him that I wish to see you die as well. With fear in his eyes, Kriss tried to escape but then the rider dashed forward and slashed the shade woman across the throat. The shade bubbled up and disappeared in a cloud of gray ash. She giggled as that happened.
The rider looked toward Kriss and then spoke softly. They are following your family and I need to stop them. You need to go to Ellesmera and search out Feanaro Shadeslayer. Tell him these words exactly as I say them. 'Vaentr is dead and Brenton is a fugitive. Do not fret for I, Brenton, have sent this boy to you as a pupil to you. The best way to learn is to teach. Find the rock wall in the training room and you will see the Gedwey Ignasia. Speak to it and it will reveal the secrets.' Those words are important and they need to be said. I believe there is another searching for Feanaro, just don't allow him to find me. With that, the rider drew a teal colored sword and ran toward his horse. With a jump and a strange word, the horse took off for the edge of town. Kriss ran for the tavern and gathered his stuff. He grabbed the nearest horse and rode off for Du Weldenvarden.
-Present in the Cell-
Brenton swelled with pride as he finished his tale of how it happened. Then the woman officer spoke and glared at the same time. "You say that Bristven aided you?" Then when Brenton tried to reply, she snapped and waved for him to be quiet. "It doesn't matter, for the young warrior is already being followed. His daughter and fiancee are fleeing across the country and we will find them." The woman reached for a weapon when Brenton grabbed the very sword she wanted and shoved it through her stomach. He took the keys and fled to find his allies again.
((Alright, that is it, but Kriss isn't a rider or anything. And I now have to destroy Vaentr. That will happen within four more posts in Training Others.))
