Arkantos grunted in annoyance and sighed as he crushed the scorpion (wtf?) with air. He quickly channeled earth, and the sandstorm subsided angrily. Leaping onto Wingfoot, he readed his spear and cantered forward, lowering his spear as well as a mental attack. But, in case he failed, he loosened the rocks on the cliffs above ever so slightly to drop if he needed to flee. A nearby pack of wolves scented him and ran to see what the commotion was about. He quickly informed the alpha male and female with a series of scents and images in wolf fashion, and erected powerful magic barriers around them as they pledged their alliegience to aid him against the friend of the Shadowsouled as they leapt out of the brush, and causing Solen's horse to whinny with fright and rear up into the air.

"Hello son."
The Shade's voice hissed from everywhere around Arkantos as he appeared in a cloud of smoke in front of Wingfoot. He looked slightly bitter and very annoyed that such a mediocre spell had 'killed' him. Although he usually enjoyed to play with his 'food', he was growing impatient with this one. Suukri's mouth opened wide as he roared fiercely, causing the earth to begin to shake so much that it resembled a giant tidal wave of rock that was advancing upon the Shade's 'murderer'.
Just as the earthwave looked as if it was going to hit Arkantos and his horse, it dissolved, spraying sand all over the place, blinding whoever was unable to shield their eyes. And then, moving quickly toward Arkie, Suukri extended his right fist, aiming to hit him square in the face, and perhaps break his skull.

((No one but Darksilver calls me Arkie... HAVE AT YOU!!))
Suukri's fist collided with the Arkantos and sent him flying into the bushes, his wards failing at the terminal shock given to his systems as the magic quickly set about to keeping him alive. He groaned as he recovered blood that was expelled forcefully from his body at the collision. Vision swimming, he saw Wingfoot scream at the fatal magic severing his mind and fall over in his death throws. Arkantos feebly summoned his spear with magic and staggered towards Suukri as the wolves fled from the Shadowsouled emanating dark magic. "You...will...pay...I...will win...they will notice my absence, maybe even send a Rider out for me...you'll see...your soul will burn in eternity for what you have done, Shadowsouled...I will be there to see it...", he stuttered as he fell back onto the ground, managing to utter "Waise heill" before loosing conciousness.
((There, that fair enough for you?!?))

((Arkantos's strength mostly comes from a ring he found in the throat of a wolf, which gives him a MASSIVE energy boost. Besides, throwing rocks takes surprisingly little energy. You just set them off and let physics do the rest. Also, about the wards, they, too take a little energy once you do something called "tying a web". It basically lies inert or dead until it is triggered, then gains somewhat of a sentience by only requiring a trickle of power when activated. It's Ancient 102, really. Oh, and about the whole dodging thing, I'll try to make that a nonissue next time. Whew, that was long. oh, and just PM me if you want to talk out side the plot, that way we don't clog up the thread for backlogging puroposes)) ((P.S. I don't care if it's an enemy's horse, as long as it's not MY horse. ^^)) ((P.P.S Just read my char. sheet in the "Accepted Characters" section. I'm pretty sure I put something in there))

[I did read your character sheet, there was nothing about a ring of any kind. I was just wondering how you can set boulders on fire without any type of flammable liquid, which, technically, would only set the liquid on fire. Also, I was only speaking of how you thought I was inconsiderate to have killed your horse when you just killed Solen's, and I will apologize if you had already consulted him and he gave you the 'Ok' to kill it. It was a little god-modded when bound and gagged Solen when Damien had said "((Sorry, not letting Solen get handed over to the Varden. Not even if it means having to actually use Galbatorix to get him out of there.))", which allows me to assume that if he had had a say in what you had typed, he would not have been captured that easily. And about the wards, I mainly spoke of the Healing Ward, which would have had to be exceptionally powerful to heal your horse while a Shade attempted to kill it.
This is all I am going to say on this matter, and if you wish to continue our discussion, I will gladly take it to PMs.]

((Ah. I see. Well, the ring was a key item that he found in his first thread, but it is in my inventory, but as for the wards and such, I will change them accordingly. Sorry. It's just that I get out of practice when I don't have to constantly RP, so I do get my fairness meter a little warped sometimes. Oh, and about Solen's horse, it isn't really a permanent item/pet, seeing as he didn't name it in the thread, it's probably just another noname from the Imperial stables, so it didn't have a personality, persay, but I can have Wingfoot die, it's just that it's his fastest mode of conveyance is all. Will modify now))

[Well geeze, you didn't have you do that! I was fine with what you had if you had just changed it a little, but you went in a completely new direction. If you still have what you had before, you can edit it back, or whatever. I wasn't saying what you had wasn't fair in most places, just when you killed the horse and capture us both. Maybe if you could have just captured me/killed me and fought Solen one on one. It's up to you.]

((What's going on? *has lost track* Also, I don't mind Solen getting captured, but I would very much mind if he was handed over to the Varden. You can bind and gag him all you like.))
Desperate not to fall off, Solen pulled hard on the horse's reins while bracing his legs on the stirrups. The resulting conflict of signals confused the frightened beast, and it bolted. Solen, whose riding skills leave much to be desired and generally depended on his mount being calm and docile enough to be steered by the mind, was having a too much trouble trying to stay on to care very much where the horse was taking him. As a result, he didn't notice when it bounded over the unconscious Varden agent, although he noted that it was heading straight towards Suukri.
He forcefully clamped down on the horse's panic, eventually getting it to stop running. Gracelessly sliding off it's back, he stumbled a bit as his feet hit the ground and silently vowed never to ride again.
((What now, pick up Arkantos and go?))

((Nah, this is slightly more fair. Although seeing as he tends to fall unconcious from magical effusions alot, I'm wondering if this might have a detrimental medical effect later on in his life...interesting))

((Maybe. Or more likely, like that John Travolta movie "Phenomenon", where he's like, I've got pyschic powers! And everyone else is like, Ha-ha, deadly brain tumor is behind your powers! Your'e gonna DIE!!))
EDIT: If no one's going to post, I'm outta here. I'm not saying I'm leaving, it's just that if no one posts in the next 24 hrs as of 9 Aug 2007, I'm gone, baby... gunna go find some NoObs to mess with er sumthin... You know what, that's it. I'm gone.
