Guys, the problem with that is that we have to make a bazillion different member groups and then personally sort everyone into which one they want. It's a lot of work for the admins.

Yeah, i understand. It would be different though. Maybe if someone created some kind of program. It would probably be based on jobs then. Like a FF game. Then there would even be more problems.

Oh but then when you reach 1000 you can have a special name that is the color of your choice and is below your real name but above the forum rank name, I know that was very confusing so here's an example

Under the Warrior category, I'm going to change the Mercenaries to Militia. Under the Sailors,, the Bus Boy is going to be a Deckhand.
Also, try and get more categories in there. Hunters or something like that. Just post whatever you come up with and we can fill it in. Should be too hard if we work together.
I don't know if I'll add them all right away, but I'll get the ones most people seem to want on there.
Also, Torin, The extra name will have to be under the stars. I don't think I can put it anywhere else...

Use the edit button people >> What are you trying to do Nihael? Because... I don't think you can do different ranks by post, not even for groups, if I'm not mistaken. Everyone in the group would get 1 title, non-changable as post counts increase. I think... maybe...

It would all be in code. Its possible. It would also be eaiser if the person did it when they registered. like check a box with the ones they like

Danny, just look in the member groups if you want to see what exactly I'm doing. I am aware that I will have to manually change, but it shouldn't be hard to do it within one or two days of the person "leveling".

o__O Ok...Have fun.  Also, you'd need titles for Rider, Werecat, Shade, Elf....Or I might be utterly wrong and confused... Because, thing is...this could get a bit confusing. Is this going by occupation? It seems to be. So, a rider would be considered a warrior? o__O Oh, and please, don't double post. Use the edit button. |

Okay, there's a difference between provided code and code you'd have to write yourself, torin. It's not quite that easy to write javascript or whatnot to whip this up, at least not for me. Provide code, and then we're talking.
So you're going to check the members of each group everyday to see if they reached a certain post count and then update it? Okay >> if you're willing then it's all good, lol.
