Genevieve had been making her way to the northern regions, taking a path through the Haradac Desert up from Surda. She wasn't exactly sure what he destination was, but things in the south were getting more complicated it seemed. Most people didn't trust strangers well either. She figured a change of pace would be nice. Before leaving she manage to snatch some food from the baker's stall as he was closing shop and then she filled up her canteen with water. She also had gotten a few apples from a tree that was in an oasis just before the desert. Luckily, Gen had some venison left over from her hunting and had plenty for the long trip ahead.
When she was nearly through the desert she found she had two choices: dare to cross the Ramr River close to Gil'ead or take through the forest. She didn't feel like messing around with Urgals at the moment, so she chose the path through the forest toward Ceunon. But first she had to cross over Marna Mountain. She had been traveling over it for only one day but when the sun began to set, Genevieve decided that an early break would do her well. So she set up camp after scouting the area, hoping that no one would disturb her. Friend or Foe, she didn't care. Her people skills had been lacking of late.

Kale trudged along, the heat was definately getting to her and with Nally lagging behind and complaining -- things just weren't going well. She sighed as they began to desend Marna Mountain, things were turning around. Nally even started to shut his mouth. As they made it through the day and finally set up camp. "Why do we have to do the Varden's dirty work, I mean, going to Gil'ead was a piece of work but having to go to Therinsford too! Well, seeing mum was alright I guess and Ovia is getting bigger." Nally rambled. "Ya, just great." She rubbed her wounded arm. "Hey, was it my fault you got shot in the arm?" He asked. "No, but it's not the fact that I got shot. It's the fact that it was our own father and brother who shot at us." She hung her head but her head suddenly bobbed back up at the smell of smoke. She turned to her brother, "Urgals!" She hissed. They readied themselves, and snuck threw to the small camp but saw no Urgals. Instead, they saw someome else.
