Her eyes changed to a sudden panic then back to its calm state with a hint of a shine. Why do you ask? We are just friends.... In her own thoughts he mind was racing. How did she really think of Zark? Ever since she first left her tribe Nola had not allowed herself to care for anyone. With her constant travel it was not her way to stay with someone. More so to find someone who liked the life of travel. If she did have feelings for him it only be harder in the end to leave the group.

Surbus looked at Nola's eyes calmly. Then he said in a semi-serouis, semi-prankster tone, Was I implying anything else? I was refering to your training, but now that you bring it up, you seem to be a tad bit sensitive on the subject. What with that slight panic I picked up in your eyes. Then he began to pace around, looking high and low for anything of interest as they made their way to their qaurters. I promise I won't tell Zark what you think of him. I mean, then that would be no fun. Then he turned back to Nola, showing teeth, unlike what a cat would do.

Nola eyes widen in a semi shock and then broke out in a wide grin. How about this. You tell me how he feels about me and Ill tell you the answer to that question and more. She had gotten caught but oh well. She had no reason to hide it any longer. Even if Nola was still confused with her feelings for Zark she knew they were there. If she wanted them or not.

Surbus listened and then sat down, thinking. After a long pause, about 6 seconds, he looked back up and said, Very well, I'll tell you how he feels if you tell me how you feel toward him. You first though, cause you know that I would keep my word, otherwise I would be makign myself untrust worthy. You however, I can't tell if you would keep your word or not, so you first.

Nola had to give the kitten form of Surbus a small wink and a long sigh. Very well...I will admit that I care for Zark but how much only time will tell. Truth is...I dont think it will end up anything special. Not like I'm going to stay with this group much longer. After this little mission I'll be on my way to the captial to meet and recieve some things.
The young red head gave a small shrug and looked down the hall they were in. Now you tell me what I want to know. Afterwards I think we should split up. Nola's heart felt guilt at what she was planning on doing but it was who she was....and would always be.

Surbus cocked his head to the other side as she told her what she thought about his master. He nodded, taking in each word and thinking on it till he said, Okay, so you care for him. But you don't know how much, and you would prefer not to stay with him. Then his gaze turned from a thoughtful and play ful look to that of a calm and patience. But why couldn't this group go with you? Like follow you on your little quest to receive somethings. Then he reverted back to his oldself and said, We'll talk about that later I guess. I told you that I would tell you after you told me so I will tell you what Zark feels about you. He couldn't help but chuckle in her head as he trotted around her legs, rubbing against them once in a while. Well, he feels a alot of feelings toward you. He feels concern over your safety, he admires your talents in combat and how you use your head, he likes it that you have a nack for magic. Then he stopped and looked right at her eyes again before continueing, Did I mention that he also feels confused?

Nola turned around and went down the hall but not before giving a small wave to Surbus. Then her mind was locked in sudden barriers. Much more strength in them then what she had before. Not even with the help of Zark and Surbus combined could they try to speak with her now. Then turning the corner of the hall Nola was gone.

Surbus was about to argue with her more but she simply turned the corner and was gone. He sighed and said to Zark, Hey Master, I am gonna head back to ya. Nola said she'll meet up with us later but I highly doubt that. Anyway, I am gonna get out of this here joint. Seeya soon. Then he started to trot away, makign his way out. It wasn't too tough.Zark nodded as Surbus told him what he thought. After Surbus was done Zark looked over at the castle and sighed. He looked aobut and walked off a bit. "Looks like its just me for a bit..." OOC: Wow.... sorry that I haven't been on. And how would you know Zark couldn't break it?

OCC: Sorry I havent been on as well. Nola might be more powerful in certains areas then she lets on. ^_-
Nola gave a simple sigh as she walked out of the castle. The womens long wavy red hair was now in a high ponytail. She would have to find Zark and fast. It hadn't been that long since Nola had left Surbus. Maybe half a hour? "Zark...where are you.." She had to finish this. For very soon without Torin or Zark Nola would be leaving to the King's city.
Looking up to the sky and taking a deep breath she expanded her mind seaching for Surbus and Zark. Hoping at least one of them was close by or she would have to go to the castle and stay there.

Zark was walking around the when one of his spirits whispered into his thoughts that Nola was walking out of the castle. He wasted no time. Without another word he sat down, his too a tree and closed his eyes, as the feeling of being bodiless overcame him. When he opened his eyes again, he knew they were not really his eyes. They were the eyes that saw a world colorless. He was seeing through the eyes of one of his spirits. There was Nola, who was makign her way into the woods. The spirit moved to his will, slinking through the shadows without a sound, almost undetectable without magic, till it slithered from the shadows into the light of the sun, starting to form a semi-humanoid shape, wreathed in umbral like smoke. Then, Zark willed the spirit to beckon her to follow. OOC: Works for me. He probally wouldn't beable to break anyone's barrier if they were skilled in magic by himself....  |

Nola did not jump oe act frightened when the spirt came before her. "Show off..."was the only words thst left her lips as the red-haired women followed in hopes of speaking with Zark face to face. She had little time and hoped to do this fastly. It might be her last time speaking with anyone who she could call a friend. ((Short too I know...Its early...If I dont post now ill forget.  )) |

The spirit turned away from Nola, and only once looked behind itself before it started for the camp. After the instructions were given Zark released his hold on the spirit and headed back for the camp where the spirit lead Nola. If they were gonna talk, it might as well be there. He reached the camp and sat against the tree, waiting till the spirit showed up.
OOC: Sorry Torrin! What is your character doing anyway?
What? Was it something I said?
