((So am I!! I am BACK from vacation!!!))
Moon bounded into the stables and leaped on to Darkmoon's stall door slashing at the lock with her claws. It swung open and, Darkmoon getting the message galloped out of his stall and down the street, scattering people every where in his search for his mistress. Moon then leaped to Amberfire's(Tian's sister's horse) and jumped on to her back as the mare raced after Darkmoon. Tian came to with a start as a spark of lightning stung her cheek. But she was helpless, she could hardly feel her magic inside her, as she watched the battle around her. "Would someone get me off this horse?!" she yelled annoyed at being held captive.

Vedrit didnt dare to look back. As it was, the horse was afraid of the fireballs.
'Sonya, get Tian loose if you can' He told Sonya, who was flying next to the horse.
Tired of running, Vedrit grabes onto the saddle horn. Pulling him self up, he puts a foot in the sturrup, and gets settled in the saddle.
Grabbing the reins, he makes the horse turn a corner. He looks up and sees a dragon.

Orik placed his axe back into its rightful place by his side. slowly walking off in the direction of the crazed coward muttering "I'll get him for this" and with that he was walking out of town in search of a fight

Icefyre flapped quickly, her wings a blur.
Icefyre do not breathe fire!! You might hit Tian!, he shouted.
I know Tristan, she said calmly I am just taking you there.
Tristan nodded and drew his sword as they closed the gap between him and Arkantos.

Tian was fed up. She didn't care if she was dead tired and completely drained and about to pass out again. She was going to get herself out of this. Drawing on the power linked to her sister from her necklace, she muttered a word through gritted teeth. Her spell burst from her, breaking the bounds that had held her. She swayed in the saddle fighting to stay awake. Hoof beats reached her ears. She knew that rhythm by heart, and as she looked up she saw Darkmoon galloping towards her. Oblivious to everything else, she stood up in Arkantos's horse's saddle. Darkmoon slowed to a canter, and as he passed her Tian jumped, wrapping her arms around his neck as she swung her leg over his back.

Tristan brushed a strand of hair out of eyes just time to see Tian escape from Arkantos. The young which was almmost unconscious; she had used up almost all of her energy. He was suprised she had been able to do anymore magic peroid.
Icefyre closed in on Arkantos. She pulled into dive, much like many birds-of- prey. He claws slid out and she roared aiming for his neck.

Tian watched Tristan with glazed unseeing eyes. She was so close to passing out. She had, Darkmoon, Amberfire, and Moon to protect her, but if anyone got past Darkmoon, which she doubted, she would be helpless.

Vedrit moved to allow Tian sit in the saddle. He noticed that she was near un-consciousness. To make sure that she did not fall, he wraps an arm around her waist and says in her ear "Ive got ya."
As they rode past many houses, inns and taverns, Vedrit often looked behind him, seeing glimpses of thier pursure, and the balls of flame he threw at them. He tried to ignore the dragon that was falling on the pusure, but Sonya was captivated by it.

Tian relaxed in Vedrit's arms, somehow knowing that she was in safe hands, even though she had only known this man for an hour or so. Fighting to stay awake, and loosing, Tian rested her head on Vedrit's shoulder, her red hair falling over her face, and went limp. Darkmoon refused to leave Tian so he kept pace with Vedrit's horse. Moon jumped from his back to Tian's lap, while Amberfire lingered behind, as if to guard.

(Since no one else seems to be posting...)
Vedrit slows down, and looks behind him. Sonce he couldnt see thier pursuer, he carefully dismounted, trying not to let Tian fall. Once on the ground, he lets her fall into his arms, making her cat jump down. Vedrit looks the way they had come, and then makes an exremly zig-zaggy way to the inn he was staying at.
Once there, he lays Tian on his bed, removing only her shoes and daggers, then goes to get some water and bread. After he does that, he sits in a chair near the window, with his sword close. He often peers out the window, incase their pursure had managed to follow. Sonya was out hunting.

Icefyre closed in on Arkantos, her talons pressed forward. She missed him by barely a hand's with and hid the ground next him with a crash. She roared and took snapped out her massive jaws.
Tristan dove off her back and tackled him, knocking him onto the ground.

Tian stirred, feeling the change from saddle to bed. Her eyelids flickered then opened. She didn't recognize her surroundings, but the warm body of Moon against her side, kept her from panicking. What had happened?! she thought and sat up quickly, which was a mistake. Her head spun and she fell back gasping.

He pulled up his chair to next to the bed, water and bread in hand. "Your safe. We got away." Vedrit whispered. "I have water and bread, if your hungry."
'She's up.' Vedrit told Sonta
'Good.' she replied.
"I have a feeling your going to be in bed for a while." Vedrit said to Tian "I could tell from the way you slept through a horse ride, me carrying you through the town. You were really tired." Vedrit said, a small smile on his face

(DA,DA,DA,DA STAYIN' ALIVE, STAYIN' ALIVE)
As Arkantos was knocked to the ground, he thought to himself,"I seem to have a rather unfortunate streak of bad luck today"
Noticing he was pinned to the ground, he decided to cut his losses and let himself be captured. "Alright, alright, I surrender, just make sure my horse doesn't bolt off, will you?" Catching a glimpse of the Rider's dragon, he commented "Interesting scale pattern on your dragon, by the way, I've only seen that once before in Vroengard, and the scale itself was buried under 2 tons of rubble."

Tian sat up slowly, taking the water and bread with a shy smile. She was slightly uncomfortable in his presence, she didn't like to show weakness. "It defiantly been an interesting day," she said wryly and took a sip of water. Why me? she thought angrily, Why did that Arkantos man try and take me? What use would I have been to him.

Satisfied that she was drinking and eating, Vedrit returend his chair to the window. "Yes, it most certantly has been." He said as he did so.
'Sonya, are you done yet?' Vedrit asked Sonya
'Why?'
'I want you near incase we have to flee.'
"So...What did that man want from you?" Vedrit asked Tian

Tian frowned wondering if he had entered her mind. She tried to replenish her walls around her mind, but she didn't have much in her. "That's a dam* good question," she muttered darkly. Biting her lip she lifted herself out of the bed, her whole body ached. Tian sat on the edge of the bed staring openly at Vedrit, "I know nothing about," she said bluntly, "how can I trust you, after all I've been through today?"

Tristan smiled grimly at the man. Mentally he reached out for the horse, calming him with the ancient language.
"Thank you," he said coldly," Your horse will be fine."
He reached out Tian with his mind.
Tian, where are you? I need a place to take this man, he said.
Muttering in the ancient language he bound Arkantos and then pulled him onto Icefyre and strapped him down to the saddle. He slid over the top of her saddle and kicked off the ground into the air.

"Ow!" Tian gasped holding her throbing head. She could tell it was only Tristan and let him in. That hurt. she snapped at him but said, I'm with Vedrit at his house, I'm not sure but i think he's ok. She mentally showed Tristan an image on the house then leaned back and glanced up at Vedrit.

Arkantos smiled grimly at his fate. Noticing the words that the Rider used to bind him, he hoped it was enough to stop anyone who might be scrying him.
"Thanks for the save back there, Rider. I had to look good for my superiors, one of whom is a Shade. She's been scrying me since I entered the city to see if I would live up to expectations. Hopefully she's stopped by now..."
