Nihael was seated regally upon Onyxia as she soared towards Uru‘Baen. He admired the fortifications around the city as he looked for a clear area within its wall in which they could land. The Varden hope to defeat Galbatorix when he has a city such as this? They are nothing but a mere rabble headed by deluded, pitiful fools. He watched with a familiar bored detachment as the nearby civilians scurried into their houses away from him. This was understandable due to the vicious look of Onyxia and his own evil visage. Now to find Galbatorix. With a purposeful air, Nihael strode towards the castle in which Galbatorix was usually located. I am going to get him to finally assign me something to do, I am sick of waiting for him. I agree. Humans are much more fun to hunt than wild game.

Admon walked in the streets of Uru'Bean. Above him he could see ,what some would call, a viciouse dragon. He stood and watched the magnificent beast head toward the castle. Admon had not been in a city for many months and had to buy suplies for the on coming adventure. HE could feel in his bones that something was about to happen ofter the battle in the Burning plains he had felt this sensation often. But discarded it just as often. Now he stood in the streets of one of the most powerful city's in all of alegeasia. Preparing for a war young Du'urden, he thought to himself.

As Nihael was walking, he became aware of someone watching him. We are not alone. I know. Slowly turning, his hand moving to the hilt of one of his swords, he searched his surroundings for anyone who might be staring at him and/or Onyxia as people who didn't run were wont to do. Spotting a man standing on a side street, Nihael approached him. "Who are you? And should this be your question, no you can not touch her." stated Nihael coldly an sharply referring to Onyxia with his last statement.
OOC: Sorry about time gap mom called me away.

"I wish to do nothing of the sort," said The young Du'Udren keeping his grip in the hilts of his Scimitars carful to keep his hood up and not reveal his ears. "If you'll excuse me i'll be leaving from you incompitence" he said in a low and threatening voice. 'No' he said to himself i have to keep a low profile but sensing that he had already blown his cover he grip the hilts even tighter preparing for a fight and attemted to walk away. He admired the way the Rider Stood and the swords on his hilt both black like the scales of his dragon he recognized them to be riders swords and wondered how he had gotten two. HE dismissed the notion imideatly and widened his range of scence slowly letting his barriers down but sure to keep personel information to himself including the fact that he was an elf.

"What is your name?" called out Nihael as the stranger started to walk away. "I like to know the name of the person who insults me." I don't like this insolent creature, let me torch him. No wait I want to see who he is, atleast before we kill him. Niheal saw the stranger go for the hilts of his weapons and braced himself for an attack, while appearing calm and cool on his exterior.

The Shade watched the two men from a distance. Her black snakeskin cape billowed slightly in the gentle breeze, her eyes narrowed. She wondered to herself if the man in the hood would really walk away from the Rider and his dragon. She could see that he had his hands on the hilts of his weapons, yet he turned his back.
What kind of moron does that? she thought. The Rider had called out and asked him his name. She too, was now curious to see how this would play out.

Admon had his hands on his hilts preparing for a fight he could feel the rider tensing up. He smiled to himself. "You know it's kind of funny. A high and might rider has taken offense so easily from a peasant like me." he said with a chuckle feeling as though he were about to have great fun. 'No' he thought to himself. Fighting down the alter ego he had known so well was like trying to fight down a dragon, useless. "But if you must know my name is," he hesitated for a moment"of no importance to you oh honored rider." With his back still turned he attempted to walk away once more keeping and eye over his shoulder and a guard around his mind prepared for any attack.

"Whether your name is of any consequence is an issue on which I myself will decide upon." There is something about him that is not quite right. I feel it too. He is alot more interesting than he would lead us to believe. Aye. "Dare you go against the command of a Rider?"

"Should I no. Dare I of course." He chuckled to himself again but decided to reveal his name. "Fine i will tell you my name if you are so dieing to know before you smite me." With a chuckle he continued " My name is Shadow. If you ask for my true name that is what I will not give you under any circumstances. Now I will be on my way." Admon you should be more careful who you talk to. Insulting a rider what are you insane. He once again thought to him self. Admon felt another presence at the moment not of the Dragon or his rider but of something just as powerful if not more.

Despite his insolence (or maybe due to it), Nihael started to take a liking towards the stranger. Shadow he calls himself, I doubt that is his real name. Creating a barrier infront of 'Shadow' he called out, "I never dismissed you. Show more respect when men of hgher caliber speak to you." Hmm... let's see how he reacts. Tchach, you should just let me kill him, my curiosity as to who this person is has worn thin.

Admon stopped abruptly and whipped around looking the rider dead in the eye's his own turning a deep black the hunter within tugging at its own barriers. The fight between Beast and Master had begun again for the third time in under an hour all due the this one single person. "I hope you don't mean yourself going around torching entire villages in the name of what a false belief. One that could end up in your death, a death that you will regret. The future Galbotrix has laid out for you is false. Why would one so noble as yourself fight for something so evil as galbotrix?" Admon spat as the battle within continued.

"Evil is but a perspective. What the Varden see as fighting for a just cause, I see it as disrupting the peace and bringing war to the land, land which Galbatorix united and freed from the incompetence and self-indulgement of the Riders of Old. He is not a pawn of any one side and does not worry about offending anyone and the annoying propaganda and bureaucracy, sometimes a dictatorship is needed to get necessary things done. I would not be so quick to judge what is right and what is wrong, for the line between each is blurred due to lack of information and inherited prejudices. I do not believe that what Galbatorix is right or wrong, I just believe that it is neccesary"
((That is kinda true, there is a city in Brazil that is like a metropolitan paradise and it was achieved because there was a dictatorship in place. I believe it is called Curitiba))

The Shade snickered to herself. Now the other man was questioning the Rider's values. Vavrin listened to the Rider's words. Impressive., she thought. Now, how would this "Shadow", as he called himself, answer to that?
Vavrin waited impatiently for things to get exciting. Whoever this other person was, he was obviously hiding something. She had to resist the urge to enter his pitiful mind and just have done with it. However, she thought better of it. After all, it was not her annoyance, it was the Rider's. She hoped that it would end in bloodshed soon. The other peasant was wasting her precious time.

"If evil is but a perspective than what in your perspective is evil?" he said trying to calm himself "Is evil in your perspective the Varden? Or perhaps it is those who care enough to die for those in need? Or is it freedom itself that you find evil the freedom to sleep at night without worrying if your home will be destroyed or if you should just kill your self now because of the pain of your losses." Admon was fighting at the hunter inside fighting to subdue the instinct to kill and destroy. It would be easy to defeat a rider in a fair combat of the swords he'd done it before but riders had other things at there disposal not to mention a one thousand pound bulk that was a dragon. So how would he destroy this rider when he had so many recourses at his disposal in such a town?
((Sorry for just apearing and editing this post, but I have a few questions: he fought a rider before? When? And since when did dragons wheigh 400 pounds, thats only twice the average fully-grown american. At least 800, possibly 1400 would be more acurate. -- Ragond))

"I do not pretend to believe that the Varden are evil. I do not bother myself with such petty matters as branding any one group. I belive that the Varden are doing what they think is 'right' and they would go as far as they have to to accomplish their goals. But do you think that they should inade the Empire causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people just for their ideals? Do you think they should destroy the homes and livelihoods of many families, as they no doubt will do should they manage to reach the cities? Do you think that it was 'right' when the man Roran destroyed many homes and workplaces and killed many of the people in Teirm when he made his escape? There is much to ponder should you want to have a clear understanding of what is right and what is wrong. For many belive that right is whatever benefits themselves. would you kill a hundred people to save thousands? Some believe you should and others believe you should, many of them the hundred themselves as it in no way profits them. The men who believe you should, men like Galbatorix and myself, we have the guts to do what we believe is necessary. THAT is why the old Roders needed to be vanquished, so that things could begin anew and maybe things might turn out better than they previously were, as I am sure that when the first Riders were, established, they were people who opposed them and those people thought that they were 'right'. So if you wish to make that distinction, which I believe to be a grave error, you should examine the situation from every possible angle."

Vavrin quitely began to walk closer. Her tall boots barely made a whisper as they tread the ground. She wanted to get a closer view of the hooded man. She wondered to herself why a person such as he would be wandering around Uru'Baen. Being very familiar with the city, it was her birthplace after all... she had seen many a face come and go, and had grown accustomed to its regular townsfolk. Those who did not belong stuck out like a sore thumb.
The Shade stopped a few yards away, and rested her hand on the hilt of her longsword, which hung from the belt on her slender waist. The Rider and dragon to her right, the hooded man to her left. Her eyes narrowed as she gave the hooded man the once-over. His face she did not recognize. Quite suspicious... she thought. With that, she awaited the man's response to the Rider's statement.

"Enough of this foolish argument I grow tired where I stand" Admon said "there is no point to it except for the fact that you are a rider I am a mere peasant and you serve as Galbotrix's lapdog." Shadow stood the battle raging within was still not won and resistance was growing futile sooner or later he would have to give in he just hoped he would not do it here.

"A petty peasant such as yourself should choose their words more carefully, especially in a city such as this, where one may lose there heads over less. Funny how things become foolish when thick-minded people start to lose an argument, isn't it? If I were you, I would think about what I have just said before rushing headlong into an argument you could not possibly hope to win due to woeful lack of information and intelligence." With that, Nihael lowered the barrier and let 'SHadow' decide if he should leave or try anything. I could always use some sparring practise

"You think you know me," he spat now getting frustrated. "information is not knowledge. You think because you have met me and that you know my name that you know me. You know nothing!" Shadow stood as the barrier was taken down. He wasn't finished though he would never be finished until his dieing day. The battle within was unstoppable but he would not allow himself to lose it. The hunter he had known for so many years was now trying to take him over. " Why do i hide myself so you ask because i choose to i choose to live in solitaire it is my life," why he was doing this he did not know why was he trying to explain himself to this incompetent fool what business was his life to this man if he could be called that.
(((there happy now Ragond 140 words Jesus Christ i was only three words off)))

"You are a presumptuous, disrespectful, little cretin aren't you? At no point did I ever say that information is knowledge, but it is a key element to it. And at no point did I pretend to know or request that you give me any information whatsoever regarding your life. As I rather do not enjoy conversing with beings that have the mental capacity of road kill, I rather think I will be moving on now.”
