Vavrin pulled out a chair from the table and sat. "All in good time, you two. All in good time." she said with a grin as she watched the twins fiddle with thier weapons. She liked how they thought...
"As for you, Illyria. I have a mission for you and Otho. You are to set out to Elesmera, capital of Du Weldenvarden. While you are there, you may encounter other Varden Riders who are training there. You need to identify them, and when you have you are to return here with their names and the exact location of the capital."

Illyria frowned at her. "Easier said then done. true I know where it is. I grew up in that area its just other riders. Would be hard. she sighed and looked at the ceiling. "To identify them I would have to get as close as possible and with that in mind i might get caught. Unless that is your plan. And if that is what if they ask me to join I have to say no. They would assume right away I'm with th Empire and they would be right. But if that is what you wish and Galbatorix's wish it shall be done." She bowed her head slightly before she stood up and left. Otho we are going...to...Elesmera.Othos emitted consern through their bond. But Illyria...No buts Otho its a mission and we cant refuse it..not anymore anyway. Illyria replied sadly as she opened the door and walked over to Otho.

Silence reigned as the caravan of horses and wagons moved towards Gil'ead. Eve hated traveling with soldiers, and the only reason that she had consented to it now was because Galbatorix had commanded it. She didn't see why she needed to bring the message to Vavrin, that's what the peon soldiers were for. Not only did Eve not like the idea of playing messanger, but she hated the fact that it was Vavrin that she was going to see. She never particularly liked the shade, but she dealt with her because Galbatorix trusted her.
The caravan moved into the city, and Eve opened her mind to find where the twins and Vavrin were at. She spotted the new dragon rider and smirked at her as she dismounted her horse and entered the building. The twins were both doing what they did best, standing around, and Vavrin was sitting in a chair. Eve hoped that she was interrupting something, that would make the trip more fun for her.
Her eyes flashed as she walked further into the room, "Hope all is well, I'd hate to take a bad report back to Galbatorix," her smooth voice echoed throughout the room.

The Shade fiddled with her left leather bracer for a while. She looked over at the woman who had entered. Her eyes narrowed dangerously. "No such thing as a bad report when I handle buisness," she mused. Her mind raced with other thoughts, however. She had other ideas that she would share with the twins later on. Vavrin got up, pushing the chair away with a loud scuff and walked over to the woman.
"Get on with it... what is the message. I assume thats why youre here." she sneered.

((OOC: Hope you don't mind.. but I'm kind of making up an assignment for you.. If you don't like it let me know and I'll edit))
Eve felt her fingers tighten around her staff as Vavrin spoke, "Get on with it... what is the message. I assume thats why youre here." Someday she would wipe that sneer off of her face, she had vowed that long ago.
Eve returned the sneer with a small smirk of her own as she walked around the shade towards the twins. She looked the pair up and down once, then turned to face Vavrin. Eve toyed with the dagger on her thigh with her right hand as she began to speak, "Galbatorix asked me to pass on your next assignment to you," she smirked. Giving Vavrin her next assignment meant that for now, Eve held a higher standing with Galbatorix. She continued, "You are to follow this new rider on whatever her mission is. He feels that she needs to be watched closely for the time being, and felt that this wasn't too hard for you to screw up. Think you can handle it?" she asked smugly, "He would have asked me to do the assignment, but I have much more important things to do at the moment. So don't let me keep you... I'll be on my way shortly."

(ooc) - Eh...
The Shade grined, showing her filed teeth. "Certainly, it is a simple assignment. So simple, that even you could do it. I'm sure once youre done with your other, ah, "important things", you could take care of it. Besides, I dont take orders from random people who are supposedly too busy to take care of it themselves. I have other assignments to take care of first. Illyria was just part of it. I guess you were unaware of that, tsk."
With that, she pushed the locks of hair off of her shoulders. Vavrin wasnt going to be told what to do. Galbatorix already gave her orders. He mentioned nothing of this.

Eve felt the all too familiar feeling of her power growing in her chest; the shade was trying her patience. No matter, now was not the time to get angry. Galbatorix had given her her own assignment, one that was far more important and dangerous than anything this shade had done for him.
Eve walked back to the door, "Unfortunately, this is your assignment. I'm afraid that I will be gone doing a secret assignment for Lord Galbatorix. Just be sure not to mess this up; don't want to make him mad, now, do we?" she smirked at the shade. Then she looked at the twins who had remained silent, "A word if you please, Yin and Yang," she said and then stepped outside.

The woman was seemingly trying to get a rise out of Vavrin. As much as she tried to do so, she failed miserably. All her spouting of secret missions and such did not impress Vavrin in the least. For someone who thought so highly of herself, it was obvious how hard she was trying to appear worthy of any of the Shade's attention.
Vavrin let out a laugh. "I'm not the one who needs to worry about angering Lord Galbatorix. It seems you fear him more than the Varden do. Farewell!" The Shade grinned and gave a wave as the woman stepped outside.

The twins watched Eve closely and said nothing, even when she issued a new order. If Galbatorix had issued the order, they wouldn't get in trouble if they kept their mouths shut. If he hadn't, the shade made enough arguements for it to no longer matter. They watched the two women closely, watching to see if Vavrin would call Eve's bluff, if she were telling a bluff that is, or if Eve would just give it up.
"A word if you please, Yin and Yang," Eve said as she stepped outside. They gave a sigh and said "If you wish..." as they followed her.

Eve glided back to her horse, noticing that the soldiers nearby followed her every move. She stopped just before she reached her horse, and turned to face the twins. Eve had chosen to ignore the last remark that the shade had made about her being afraid; she had not known fear since the night she first discovered her powers. Nothing, not even Galbatorix, could scare her now.
As the twins approached, Eve smiled at them briefly, then began, "I have a favor to ask. Lord Galbatorix has asked that I leave for the Varden to undertake a small spying operation. I was told not to send my reports directly to him, so I've decided to send them to the two of you. I ask that you deliver them to him as they arrive to the both of you," she grinned and looked them up and down once more, "If you require payment for the favor... I'm sure that we could work something out for when I return," she finished and then waited for them to reply to her request.

The twins watched Eve closely and then turned their attention to the area. "And what, pray tell, would that payment be?" they said in a flirtatious tone, yet their expression did not change. "Whatever Galbatroix wishes, we obey, Eve. Relay whatever messages Galbatorix needs to me if you wish, but we know not when Galbatorix will receieve the reports. After all, we are not so gifted in the spell casting area as some of the others."
They bowed slighty and made a turn for the building. "Now, if you'll excuse us, we have quite the discussion coming up ahead with Vavrin," they said, turning their heads and looking at Eve slightly. "If that is all, Eve, then good day."

Vavrin was sitting in the chair, which was pulled away from the table. Her pale longsword was drawn, and she laid it across her lap. She had taken a scrap of cloth and began to polish it, its blade casting weak reflections in the dim light.
When she was satisfied, she held it out, and admired it for a moment. She ran a slender finger across the blade, and over the scratch which ran from the upper part of the blade down towards the center. A twisted smirk played upon her face, and she continued to polish the hilt. She did this patiently as she awaited the twin's return.

"And what, pray tell, would that payment be?" they said, Niniel took notice of the particular tone in their voices. She smiled again as she listened to the rest of what they had to say. "If that is all, Eve, then good day."
She nodded briefly, "Yes that is all. When I return we'll figure something out for the both of you as payment. Perhaps I'll do a favor for the both of you in return," she winked at them. Then without another word, she turned and mounted her horse, and started off back towards Uru'baen.

The twins returned to the room and watched Vavrin polish her sword. "Shall we take our leave?" they asked her. Yin reached for the double edged sword and tossed it to Yang who tossed Yin his bow staff. "Do you plan to watch the elf or do you have other plans? Galbatorix's order to us was to follow you on your missions until we receive another scroll order. We follow your command for the time being, Vavrin."

The Shade took her time polishing her sword. Gradually she looked up, pushing the bloodred curtain of hair from her eyes and stood. Vavrin advanced upon the twins, holding the sword by her side. "The elf comes later. I, however, have other plans in mind."
She gazed at both of them. "You both will prove useful to me. Be prepared to leave Gil'ead on short notice."
With a flourish, she replaced her longsword in its sheath. Vavrin was eager to put it to good use again.

"Well that's good cause we have no way of following the girl," the twins said, not moving as the Shade approached them.
"You both will prove useful to me. Be prepared to leave Gil'ead on short notice," Vavrin said to them. The twins closed their eyes and sighed.
"Lovely... just lovely..." they said in responce to the first comment. "We're ready to leave now if you wish. We have no need to be here."

"We're leaving. Tonight. Now, actually... come on." the Shade said as she eyed the Twins. She brushed past them swiftly as she made her way to the door to exit the small room.
Vavrin's boots clicked with each step she made, taking long strides to the next staircase that lead to the next floor above. Winding her way through the dank hallway, passing many a dark oak door, finally pausing infront of her own, a room she had chosen to keep for herself when she stayed in Gil'ead for long periods of time.
She pushed the door open effortlessly and stepped inside. It was practically bare save for a tall wardrobe and an iron chest that rested at the foot of her bed. She knelt and opened it, taking out a silver dagger which she placed inside her boot. Vavrin stood and made her way to the wardrobe. She flung open its doors, quickly manuevering her way out of the black tunic she had worn, sleeve still cut from the encounter with Raylborn. Tossing it carelessly on the floor, she pulled on a black cap-sleeved thin top. She grabbed the snakeskin cape out as well and swirled it over her shoulders.
