After the little trip to Gil'ead, Eve returned to Uru'baen to gather some provisions for the trip ahead of her. Although she had not known fear since the night her sister died, she felt a little nervous now at the prospect of going deep into the Varden at Galbatorix's wishes. She thought of her new role as a spy as she changed her usual black dress into the dress of a humble peasant woman from Surda. It was highly possible that she would be discovered on this trip, although she didn't think that she would be. She was excellent at hiding her true emotions, even from Galbatorix.
Eve left her room and walked out of the palace and then continued on down the streets of Uru'baen, blending in easily with it's citizens. Once she had made it outside the city walls, she met a soldier who was holding her horse for her. She took the reins from the man and dismissed him, then took her staff and proceeded to call upon a soul to aid her in her journey by making her traverse the leagues quickly. She mounted the horse, and without a look back at Uru'baen, she headed off to the south at an alarming rate, heading for the most dangerous mission of her life.

Vrell was sitted on the top of one of the towers of Uru 'baen with Storm wrapped around it. He was glad that they had time to watch the busy life of Uru 'baenian people and enjoy the hot air. He snuggled up to Storm feeling the happyness radiate of her cold shiny scales. He brought his hand up to his face to feel his ears which had begun to become angled.
I'm becoming like an elf, he thought smiling as he felt the ear tips. But not like the ones that stay in the forest. Afraid to use magic and knowing that one day, our King will take the lands that he should rightfully belong to us../i]
Should we go riding now, Storm thought interrupting Vrell's strain of though. Yes, I would love to thought back Vrell as he steadied himself upon her saddle and they flipped off the tower to greet the air.
The air met with resistance and it soon billowed through Vrell's hair, throwing the blond curls back toward the tower. He joined eyes with storm and gasped as he was amazed by the view. He soon noticed a lone person rider dashing away and he strained his or Storm's to gaze at it.
A women he though and he would have grinned if he had a mouth and not a huge dragon snout. He separated his eyes from the dragons.
Vrell assumed his own eyes and tried to link minds with the horse rider to learn her intentions. Her mind was unusually blocked so he just sent a little message to the rider's conscience. “Why are leaving the capital, didn’t you enjoy your stay Mademoiselle.” He added a chuckle and awaited a response.

The leagues fell away quickly as Eve rode and the only sounds she heard were the horses footfalls and the wind rushing past her body. Then a foreign consciousness touched her mind, and she instinctively blocked it, then she received the message, "Why are you leaving the capital, didn’t you enjoy your stay Mademoiselle.”
Eve narrowed her eyes, what idiot decided to try and communicate with her now. It certainly wasn't Galbatorix, that much she knew, so if she wanted to be rude, she would do so without fear of being rebuked. She let down a few of her guards and responded, "It is none of your business why I leave the capital. I answer to Galbatorix alone. What is your name and allegiance?"
