Jex smiled touching Saphira's scales. "Well where shall we go?" Jex asked Eragon. Draith's emotions were starting to overwhelm Jex. Calm down there tiger. Jex said pushing the emotions back. Jex took off his hood and waited for Eragon to tell him where they would be going.

"Were going to the courtyard. After training we shall rest, while the 2 couple go play." Eragon said. Oh, shut up! Said Saphira. I couldnt help it. Eragon said with a joyful chuckle. "Later we will find a room to stay in. As we cannot stay in different rooms for training purposes. We must learn to effiecently communicate with each other. First, from a small distance then a large distance." Eragon started down the hall into the courtyard. He waited for jex at the main doors.

"Alright." Jex said walking to catch up. Draith walked next to him his tail swinging every way. "I'm sure I'll be good at flying like most things." Jex said to Draith who wasn't paying attention.

"We will see." Said Eragon. "Go and get a saddle from around town." Eragon handed Jex 10 gold coins. "Buy one most confortable to you. Make sure to bring Draith with you. He is important in picking a saddle, as of he is the one your going to be riding on." Eragon Adjusted his clothing and sent Jex off to find the right saddle. I know you like him. You 2 are becomming friends. Said Saphira. Eragon laughed as he heard this comment enter his head. He is quite determined to become a great rider.

Jex nodded and he and Draith left the building. He walked to the shop he knew would have saddles. He and Draith got many stares along the way. He walked in the store the owners eyes grew larger when he saw Draith. Jex tried many saddles most were either comfortable but not big enough or not comfortable but a great fit. Jex finally found a good size. He handed the owner the money put the saddle over his shoulder and left. Jex went to the courtyard where the training would begin.

Eragon saw the two come down the rock paved street with a saddle. "Good job on finding a saddle. Today i show you have to attach the saddle correctly and some flieing then we go to bed." Eragon looked around cosiously. "Alright. First Lets see how you can attach the saddle." Eragon said. Eragon was undoubtly worried about something. He sensed danger. Whats the matter little one? Saphira Asked. Somethings horribly wrong....

Jex saddled Draith like he would saddle a horse it was one of the biggesr saddles in the store. "We might need a new one soon it was the biggest horse saddle I could find." Jex said jumping on Draith's back. That feels pretty good. Draith said moving around a little.

I guess its nothing. Said Eragon to Saphira. "Alright. Hows that feel Jex?" Eragon looked around. He saw nothing it was only his imgination. As he saddled Saphira he began to think about poems and what to teach Jex. I have to make a good impression. Saphira sensed his emotions, Its ok little one...Your doing fine. I know im just worried about the kid. What if we go into battle? He will be fine. He wont die on us. I promise you that.

Jex settled in the saddle. 'It feels pretty good." He looked up at the sky. Soon we will be up there. Jex said with excitement. It is fun never gone to high though. "That will soon change." Jex said. "I’m ready for some fun." Jex turned to look at Saphira and Eragon. The two looked like professionals the way they sat. Draith felt Jex’s envy. Don’t worry one day we will look like that. “Yes one day soon.” Jex said ready to get up in the air. He held on to Draith’s neck waiting for Eragon’s teachings to begin.

"Alright. Good. Im glad you like it. Now, you must trust your dragon. I want you to fly up into the air, then i want you Jex to jump off. Darith you must catch him...Me and Saphira will be there if you dont make it Dairth. He wont get hurt." Eragon looked at their worried expressions. "Dont worry, its not scary." Eragon flew into the air with Saphira. Lets see how these 2 do with this training. Eragon said Smiling at Jex. I think they are going to do a good job. "Come on up." Said Eragon.

"Ok." Fly high so you have time to catch me. Jex said a little nervous. Draith flew high into the sky. Have fun! Draith said as Jex was getting ready to jump out of the saddle. Jex laughed. "Oh i will." He said jumping off of the dragons back. He lay flat his stomach facing the ground he was free falling. This is fun! He told Draith. Draith was busy trying to catch up so he could catch Jex. As Jex neared the ground his thoughts changed. Not fun not fun! He was gaining speed and getting closer to the ground Draith just barely caught him in time. Jex landed on the saddle the wind was knocked out of him he had hit the hollow in Draith's back with his stomach. He moaned as Draith landed. "I'm ok." He got out.

"Very well young rider. Very well Draith. You must be quicker though. Your rider is hurdaling toward the ground at a high speed." Eragon said. Eragon sooned felt tired and decided it was time to go to bed. "Time to go to bed. These 2 can go play somewhere." Thank you little one. Said Saphira trieing to haide her excitment. "Have any idea where we should stay?" Asked Eragon.

"Nope I have no clue. Unless your talking about my room." The pain in Jex stomach went away. "Oh yeah I don't have a sword either." He said hoping Eragon would help him with that too. He looked over at Draith who was flying in circles around Saphira. Don't have to much fun. Jex said. Is that possible? Jex asked.

"Lol, You shall soon get a sword. For now i guess we go ask a tavern or something to let us sleep there. Go gather your things." Having fun?Asked Eragon. Oh Yes, quite a bit of fun. Responded Saphira. Eragon soon relized that there was something that he wanted to see. He wanted to see if there was by any chance of getting a sword for the new rider. Hmm...he thought to himself. The elves will make him one i presume. As for now, We sleep.

"I have all my stuff." Jex said pointing at his stuff on the ground he picked it up. "Lead the way!" He said he turned to look at Draith who was doing flips in the air trying to impress Saphira. Have fun you too. Jex said to Saphira and Draith. Draith ignored him still flying.

Eragon started to walk to the nearest tavern. He entered the door and had quite an argument with the Tavern kepper before he let us stay. As i started up the stairs i saw Saphira and Darith playing with each other. "Look at those two. They are going to be inseperable. Meaning we cant leave each other or those two will hate us for life." Eragon let out a laugh and Entered the room. It was rather big and nice. It had purple curtains and two beds. "Perfect." Eragon said.

Jex followed him up the stairs laughing. "I think we could take them on." Jex said removed his cloak. He ran over to one of the beds and jumped on it. His body laid on the soft sheets. "Fit for a king!" He said rolling himself around inside of the sheets. He searched for Draith's mind. How are you? Draith asked Jex. Pretty good just resting and you? Jex asked. Pretty good just having some fun. Jex got out of the bed and took off his boots. I thought you would be having fun.

Eragon laughed as he heard Jex's Comment. "We might or get our butts kicked." Eragon sat on his bed and started to take off his shoes and said "What do you think about your dragon? Saphira is true to me...And will always be." Then Eragon took off his tunic then got comfortable in his bed. "These beds are wonderful." Said Eragon. "Sleep well and if theirs any trouble let me know." Then eragon shut off the light and shut his eyes.

Jex lay there in the dark. "I trust Draith with my life and everything I know." Jex said laying there. Good night Draith. Good night Jex. Dragon and rider said to each other. Jex got out of his bed and studied the room. He liked to know his surroundings. "I'm not tired." Jex whispered to himself. He sat on his bed practicing his mind barrier. About an half an hour passed Jex still sat there on his bed. what to do next. Jex thought to your self.

Jex got back on Draith's back. "Well i guess we should go." He said. First good idea today. Draith said taking off. The soon landed back where they had started. "Well good night." Jex said entering the building. Good night. Draith said as Jex was running up the stairs. Jex slowly opened the door trying to be as quiet as possible. He left the dagger in his boot and slid the sheathed sword under his bed. He turned to look at Eragon to see if he was still sleeping. He couldn't see his face in the dark. Well even if he did wake up he can't be mad at me for preparing. Jex's logic pleased him and he rolled over put a pillow over his head and eventually drifted off into a deep sleep.
