"A guide you say. Hm I think that will be fit, once you come back with them I will consider a higher position. As long as you do the proper job, and get them there safely." he said with a smile and nod.
Niniel returned the smile. Male humans were always somewhat amusing to her; they more often than not found her attractive, and she played this up to her benefit sometimes. Other times she just had fun with it, but she knew where to draw the line. She bowed her head slightly, then walked out of the room.
She noticed the man from earlier perched on top of a dragon, and she smiled again. She took a few steps towards the pair, "Looks like I'll be coming with you to 'Fairyland'," she laughed, "Should be fun with you along for the trip. My name is Niniel. Who are you two?"

"Neither have I. Besides, the enemy does nto notice your armor, only your skill. I would also like a bow as i have some experience with one. So i would need a sword and bow if possible" Lira said in respose to Andvari's question. 'What do you think of her Eri?' 'She seems hard and strict, yet underneath that she is caring and kind' 'That she does. Eri, now that we are here and have talked to Lord Raylborn, do you think I made the right decision?' 'Impatient as always. That still remains to be seen Lira. Wait a little longer' 'But.....' 'Lira, you need to learn to be patient' 'I know. But I can't help it'

'Riders!?' She thought with surprised eyes. She looked at the boy and girl again, they must be new to it all, they didn't resemble Eragon quite yet. But two more riders for the Varden, what a surprise! Vari's couldn't find words for a moment, but was obviously trying to say something. She finally found her voice and curtsied in apology, "Yes m'Lord." Andvari knew she got out of hand sometimes, she was just glad Raylborn didn't seem to hold it against her.
"Armor then." She said to herself remembering her duties. "I can go ask a favor of the dwarves, plate would be best to protect you but it must be light." She explained. Out of a hidden pocket in her skirt she pulled a string tape measure, "Alrighty, I'll need some measurements if you don't mind." She said to the two riders.
She walked over to the boy first. Taking a few basic measurements (waist, height to waist and shoulder, and arm, and chest) she kept talking. "What's you name?" Vari asked the boy with a small smile as she took a small piece of parchement from the same pocket and scribbled some numbers down with a small lump of sharpened charcol. "You'll be wanting a sword?" She asked to make sure.
Turning to the girl the half-dwarf set her tape measure to work again. "And your name young miss?" She inquired polietly as she measured how tall she was. After taking her notes again she looked back to the female rider, "What weapon would you like?"

Pike quickly hopped off Forest and ran back towards the office. Where are you going? the dragon asked. "They're counting how many people need armor and they're forgetting me!"
Pike ran through the doorway and stopped himself quickly. He took a deep breath and smiled, exhaling. He walked over to the elf and put his arm around her again. "You know, I hear that you elves do very nice armor work... maybe sometime you should measure me a little, eh? he said, smiling. He looked over and noticed the half-dwarf. His face turned to suprise and he quickly smiled again. He grabbed the girl by the arm and pulled her close, putting his other arm around her as well. "Ooo, but I would like to be fitted by you as well. Maybe you both fit me and we see how it goes after that, eh?"

Raylborn nodded to Andvai in approval. Ah she did get out of hand a lot, that was for sure. But in the end she always sorted out her mess and fixed it up. He smiled and looked at her as she ran about taking in measurements from Jex and alike. "They will all need swords, whether they want it or not. Just to clear that up."
He stared at Pike as he re-entered the room, immediatly heading to the elf. He laughed at the attraction and inclined his head. That Pike was a strange one and he was sure of it. He could be trusted, from what he had seen from him. Though his attitude might need some shaping up.

“My name it is Jex.”
Jex said proudly as the woman measured him for the armor.
“And yes a sword please. Thank you!”
Jex said after she was done. As Pike ran into the room Jex turned to watch him.
“I think there is something wrong in your head Pike.”
He said to Pike staring at him. He is crazy. Jex told Draith. I know I knew when I first seen him. Draith said humor in his voice.

Niniel chuckled at the human. He was certainly very self-centered; that would hopefully be something that she could break him of after a little while. She smiled at the man, and then moved away to the wall to watch the procedings, and to wait to be told what to do by the other human.
If only her father could see her now; taking orders from humans like she was inferior to them. She rolled her eyes a little, and flipped her hair over her shoulder allowing it to fall gracefully down her back. She looked back at the one who had given her permission to be the guide for the group and tried to discern a few things about him. Her light gray eyes flashed with intelligence as she stared at him subtly, then she went back to scanning the rest of the group. Two young riders, and two older riders. Interesting mix.

Eragon noticed that little seemed to be kept from the Elf, and the answer to Pike's question seemed to bare little importance, so he went ahead. "No, I do not think that your dragons will be receving armor. It is rare, and young dragons grow quickly."
He guessed that Pike was annoying to everyone he met, especially women, upon seeing his actions around the elf. He remembered the elf's offer to be a guide, "It would be fine if you were our gide, if you can stomach dragonflight."
I'm glad we have a guide, remember how lost we were last time we visited Du-Weldenvarden. Saphira said.

Andvari had just barely written down that she needed two new swords and a bow when a man she had not noticed entering grabed her by the arm. She almost shreiked as it took her by surprise.
"Goodness!" She exclaimed, "Another rider I take it? Well then you shall have to be fitted too I guess." Vari took a look at his...unusual...attire. "And a set of new clothes too." She muttered.
"What's you name?" She asked as she took her tape measure out and started taking a few measurements; she hopped to get this oder to the armory before two o'clock. "Do you need a weapon besides a sword?" Vari inquired scribbling on her piece of paper again and brushing a stray curl back curl absentmindedly.
The dwarfs and semstress may complain about the shortage of supplies but they would do it for a rider. She knew they would do it, and that they would brag of it for the next ten years.

I hope I can get that sword before the day ends. Then I can practice again and I’ll be more ready for the training. Jex said excitedly. Draith looked at Saphira. Do you have dragon armor? He asked her. Jex was looking around the room so much was going on his eyes couldn’t just focus on one place. There were at least seven people in the office. He turned to the woman that would be their guide to the elves. Looks like we have a guide to the elves. Don’t you hate being wrong. Jex said to Draith smiling even though Draith could not see it. Draith didn’t answer Jex.

"I'm Lira. Yes, I would need a sword. And could I have a bow also?" she said in response to Andvari's questions. 'Pike is odd isn't he Lira?' 'Yes. That he is. But he seems very loyal' 'Hmmm. Lord Raylborn seems to think so' 'So, Eri, when are you going to grow?' she asked Eri playfully 'Whenever i feel like it Lira' 'Or when you are next fed. Are you hungry?' 'What do you think?' 'Hungry. As always.' 'Correct. Not as always' 'Eri.....' "Lord Raylborn, is there any chance my dragon can get fed. He's hungry. Again" Lira asked

"Ah yes food! I forgot all about it. Shall we have a feast? Yes a feast is in order." He said with a smile. "Andvari, talk to the cooks and such and set it up. We will have a grand feast in honor of our new riders. There will be mead and food galore, for both dragon and humans alike." He nodded to them all, then scratched his head. It would be tonight in the dining hall of the castle, though would it be open to everyone? Many would want to come and meet the dragons and riders, and it could get very hectic and out of control. Ah well, he would leave it up to Andvari. She usually made the right choice.
((OOC: When were done here we'll have a feast thread I guess.))

Pike laughed as he watched the half dwarf get to work. "I'm set as far as arrows go," he said, looking down at himself. "I like to use my own. A sword would be nice, I suppose, but I'm use to using daggers. And there's nothing wrong with my clothes. I made these myself! Though it does get chilly just wearing this vest all day, in and out."
He looked down at the dwarf once more. "Hm... now I wonder what makes a chill run down your spine." Pike walked behind the dwarf and put his hands against her shoulders. "Should we find out, eh?""
If I ever sound like you, please kill me... Forest interrupted.

Jex stared at Pike for a few minutes. His pick up lines are horrible! Jex said to Draith laughing out loud.
“Whoa you’re one of a kind my friend.”
Jex said still laughing.
“That has got to be the worse pick up line ever!”
Jex said falling to his knee’s laughing. Draith looked at Forest Your rider likes the women a lot? Draith said to the green dragon. Jex was finally getting up still laughing.

((OOC: Lmao @ Forest))
"Then I'll have some daggers made for you as well" She said simply. Writing notes on her parchment again she responded absentmindedly, "Oh yes, they are just fine..." 'if your planning on attending a mud fight and have nothing else to wear.' Vari added silently in her head. "But I'm afraid that you will be required to wear a shirt to the feast." She mentioned with a humorous smile. "And the rest will have to match." She stated matter-a-factly so he couldn't get out of it. She looked up and squinted at him briefly, "Would you prefer black or green?" She inquired already planning orders for some decent clothing for the strange rider.
She almost shook her head, this Pike was entirely too easily distracted, or perhaps not easily distracted from his one track mind. "Excuse me Sir, but why would it matter?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. Andvari wondered what remote town this boy had been raised in and what strange culture they had...for he was sure strange. Amusing and interesting but strange all the same.
Andvari wanted to glare at Raylborn's suggestion, but he was right. They couldn't let three new riders have a poor welcome. But the supply ships were coming at irregular intervals and they just happened to be at a low point with their stores. "I'll tell the cooks." She told Raylborn agreeing. "But I suggest you make it by invitation. Unless you would like the new riders smothered before their first battle."

"A feast?" Pike asked, looking confused. "What is this? Some sort of dinner party or something? Frankly, miss, I'd prefer having a private party with you and I. And it matters not, but I'm just a curious werecat I suppose."
Pike looked down at his clothes and brushed his vest. "Come now, my clothes were made from some of the finest animals on Uden. Took me nearly a month to take down the animal that's my vest."
Forest laughed and looked down at Draith. That he does, he said, looking at Pike. He never had any females on the island, and once he met some around here, he fell for them instantly.

Draith laughed. That explains a lot. He said to Forest. Jex finally stopped laughing he leaned back against the wall.
“So when is this feast going to happen?”
Jex asked no one in peculiar. Are you hungry? Jex asked Draith. Yes!
“Draith and I are always getting pretty hungry.”
Jex said. He came off the wall looking around the room. He hadn’t realized it before but Pike’s clothes were pretty odd. Jex began to laugh again.

"You could call it a dinner-party I suppose, but on a larger scale. And being a guest of honor you don't want to disappoint the guests." She smiled and then added, "All the pretty girls would be disappointed." If that didn't gain his cooperation then nothing would.
"Now, your wearing clothes to this feast even if I have to bind and gag you to get them on you." Vari told him with a finger pointed up at him threateningly. "You can wear your trophies any other time, but I will not have you presented to the Varden without a decent shirt and trousers. Her voice turned sweet again, "Now, black or green?" She asked him politely with a small smile.
She turned to the other two riders with her trusty paper in hand. "Jex, Lira, do you have feast clothes with you by chance?" Andvari asked trying to make sure everyone got what was needed.
"I don't know how much a dragon eats, but I can get you a hot meal when I go down to the cook." She told Jex with a motherly voice. "Will you all be up here much longer?" She asked glanceing at Raylborn for an answer.

Niniel stayed silent and watched all the different people with great interest. She smiled as she watched the odd human rider flirting shamelessly with another woman who had been taking measurements for the younger riders; seemed like the woman's name was Andvari or some such thing, and she greatly resembled a dwarf, but not full dwarf. Strange combination, but the woman seemed nice enough.
Eragon spoke to the odd rider again, then turned and began to address her, "It would be fine if you were our guide, if you can stomach dragonflight."
Niniel smiled and bowed her head, then looked Eragon straight in the eyes, "I'm sure it will not be a problem, Eragon Shadeslayer. I can handle more things than most," she said, then continued and flicked her eyes towards the odd human rider, "Bad flirting being one of them. Dragonflight should fare well with me, so long as I do not have to ride in the claws ofone of them," she finished with a smile and a polite nod to Saphira, whom she noticed nearby.
Talk of a feast was then brought up. Niniel could only hope that they had food that she would be able to eat; if it was all meat, she would have to eat her own food supplies, which had been dwindling since she had not been able to restock in the last city that she was in due to a distraction.

“A feast? When? Dragons and young men are always hungry.” Lira said. “No I have no feast clothes with me. And Dragons eat meat. Raw of course though some are picky over what type of meat it is. Like Eri here, he won’t eat any bird.” Lira said in response to Andvari’s questions. ‘Yes, I would never eat another brother of the sky’ ‘And I would never make you’ ‘I know’ ‘Well, you finally get some food. Happy?’ ‘Yes. And very hungry as well’ And now that Lira looked, Pike’s clothes were odd. And she started laughing as well.
