Sure ^_^ The more the merrier. I suppose we don't have room for a large dragon to explore with us, huh? >> Ah well, hopefully Forest will be safe in the air.

I can put it in a room large enough. Like, say, hide it in Galbatorix's throne room. Or bedroom. Would you like to face him before running off? (He won't kill anyone, of course.)
I'll have to wait for Fadriendel and Narkari, though . . .

Aye, the problem would just be getting Forest INTO the large room Unless he enjoys his hallways being large. Though I suppose there would be a pathway for his own dragon... but I don't think we'd like to face him either.

Don't forget, unless you find an excuse for Murtagh to not be there, he'd be there. And Nihael, too. So, I doubt a showdown would turn out well for the Varden chaps. (Not to mention whatever other mages/sorcerors, soldiers, and whatnot.

Suddup. I forgot.
All right. That may move off Nihael, and possibly Murtagh, if it seemed dangerous enough for the Empire, but I really doubt Galby would send away all his mages and soldiers.
Hmmm... I've been thinking of the logistics of the whole thing, and I'm pretty sure we should change the battle to Feinster. Furnost is a rather small locale, it's marking similar to Carvahall, on the map, so it would probably be a village, or a small town at best. And it seems to have no real tactical value, since it does not look to have many defenses whatsoever, and troops wouldn't be able to strike out quickly from it. I very much doubt that Galby would marshal a large number of troops to rush to the defense of such an insignificant, and rather useless place.
Urgh... nevermind. On further consideration, I could see the entire Empire falling in the space of a few months at most, counting the time it takes to move troops.
So, for the most part, ignore everything I said.

*has no clue* It's just a space between Surda and the Empire, and other than that, there's nothing. I don't want scenes of desolation, and my version of a good strategy is abusing my units until they become all-powerful and hope they don't die anyway. *awful at strategy games* You can change it if you want, the actual location of the battle doesn't bother me at all.
Most of the riders are elsewhere, the grabbing of stuff is not supposed to destroy Uru'baen and Galby would be hanging around to butt in whenever the Empire seems to be losing, cos' I'm paranoid. Other than that he'd be more than happy to let them escape, providing they don't attack/insult him . . . *thinks* On second thought, I think it'll be better just to let him scry.

I think it would be better for all parties if Galby didn't get involved in the who thing. Might save a few characters. Unless someone wants to volunteer to die?

*Enters Heroically* *trips and falls*. I shall join the Varden in pitched combat!(As an ally. Or... maybe a double agent bent on his own goals...) Besides, the Empire owes me money for fish and crab. (Damien, you should know what I mean.)

Arathorn, looked around the Burning Plains, "I came too late" he said to himself. "The battle is over, though" he scanned the battlefield "I can't tell who won. Hopefully it was the Varden." Arathorn grasped the handle of his sword, and walked around the field, scanning for any surviviors. "Help me..." a voice whispered two feet in front of Arathorn. Arathorn saw one of Galbatorix's commanders, hunched against the body of his horse, a spear in his stomach. Arathorn entered the man's mind and saw the battle, the arrival of the dwarves, and.....the arrival of a new rider. As Arathorn stared into the dying man's eyes, Arathorn asked the man quietly, "Who is this armored Rider?" The man opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. "Anwser Me!" demanded Arathorn, "Murtagh...Morzan's oldest." Arathorn stared at the man in disbelief "What do you mean Morzan's oldest? Is there another child of Morzan out there? How do you know?" The man smiled and replied with his final breath, "Eragon....." and the man moved no more. Arathorn looked at the motionless soldier, and thought to himself, "Could the second son of Morzan really be Eragon? The one Islanzadi and myself have put all our hopes on?" snapping out of it, Arathorn got up and thought to himself once more, "If Arya and Islanzadi trust and believe in him, then so do I!" and with that, he got on his horse, Lithrand, and headed towards Aberon, hoping to catch up with Nasuada and hopefully Eragon.

Umm...from how our Storyline is going so far, Galbatorix likes to keep Murtagh and Fadriendel apart because he thinks they're too close of friends and may try and overthrow him together, so that could factor in to whatever you're thinking of doing with Murtagh. I have no specific ideas for either character, so whatever you all dream up for us is fine with me.
