Eyes: light blue
Hair: Long, and both black and white, with slightly more black than white. Braided down back.
Weight: 90lb.
Height: 5 ft. 6in.
Magic User: yes. Very skilled in that area.
Preferred Weapon(s): naina, a long thin elf made sword. She made it with the help of Rhunon. It is a rider's sword. Naina has a grey blade, black hilt, and a white gem in the hilt. The sheath is pure white.
Appearance: Pale skin, delicate looking fingers, calculating eyes, and freckles.
Likes: using magic in her spare time, and making art, such as fairths.
Dislikes: large crowds, and lots of noise
Strengths: Fast and agile. Also very skilled in magic.
Weakness: Not as strong as most elves, and sometimes her vision goes all blurry, and sometimes black all-together.
Family: Killed in fall of riders. Never knew them.
Not-So-Brief History: Astra was born 10 days before the fall of the riders. When the riders fell, her mom, dad, and young (in elf terms) 27 year old brother were killed. She was raised by a elf named Yaela, and often practiced magic more advanced than what was normal for an elf her age. Not too long ago, Yaela was sent to go protect Eragon Shadeslayer, a new dragon rider. Astra was disappointed Yaela had to go, and to calm herself, had taken a walk in the woods southeast of Ellesmera. She had one of her mysterious eye problems, which had been happening ever since she could remember, and consisted of her vision going blurry or black. Her eyesight had gone black, and she had tripped on a rock. She had lay there, waiting for it to pass, and when it did, she was face to face with a black dragon egg, in a small hole. She had reached out to touch it, when, her fingers inches from the egg, crack lines appeared on it. A dragon hatched, and Astra named her Adurna, due to her liquid like movement, and gentle nature. She had gone and told the queen about Adurna, as well as her daughter, Arya. A few days ago, the queen had told her and Adurna to fly to the Varden. They had started towards the Varden, but they are still not sure if they want to help the Varden... or the Empire.

Physical description: Shining black scales (they are actually just a REALLY dark blue), and black wings. Short but sharp teeth and claws.
Personality: Daring, but still reasonable. May not be as reasonable as Saphira, but won't do some life threatening stunt (usually) without a reason.
Strengths: Fast and Agile, due to size. Also, great flier and swimmer.
Weaknesses: Smaller than most dragons, and not very strong either.
Was their egg stolen or given to the character by the Varden/Empire or found in the wild?: Found in the wild.
