As the three people and one horse re entered the marketplace, Kelocias realized she had forgotten about the guy who she'd stopped earlier. Sighing she looked around and finally gave up on finding him again. Kelocias forced her way through a few people and saw a shop of horse supplies as well as a sign that pointed to a stables. The elf swore to herself to return there and get her horse replaced. Suddenly Kelocias heard the familiar twang of a bowstring and the roar of a dragon, Istven to be exact. "Naomi, we really must speak to Sir William soon, for now my dragon is in a fight with what I fear is a troop of Empire soldiers. She can hold her own but I am sure there is a rider somewhere out there."
Just then a group of magicians seemed to rise up in front of them and Keloicas sighed in relief. She knew that the knight was in a house guarded by a multitude of magic users and therefore this was the same house. "That presence is back Captain!" A blonde female magician spoke up and then fell to her knees in pain. Keloicas dashed forward and placed her hand upon the woman's brow, effectively freeing her from Istven's mind assault in her attempt to get to William for aid. Istven I am here so stop hurting people through mental connection. A magician stepped forward and challenged her but when Kelocias showed her mark and then both of her swords, the man stepped back with a nervous look on his face.

William lay in his bed, Trying to relax as his thoughts raced rapidly, When a knock came at his door followed by around 10 armed guards rushing into the room. His face suddenly showing slight alarm he looked around to his magician who suddenly had a pained look on her face.
“Whats happened?” William asked quickly and she shook her head as if ridding it of a foul presence.
“My mind was invaded…I think the city is under attack.” She said steadying herself before looking at the guards, Set up a defensive perimeter, No one is to reach William. I don’t want any guests.” She said taking command of the situation right as a courier entered the room.
“William, Your sister and a Rider are here. They have requested a audience.” He said nervously looking at the guards around him. William immediately perked up as well.
“Send them in now. Immediately!” He said trying to stand only to have a couple of the guards hold him down.
“Please sir! You need your rest! You will be of no use to us if you die! And then what will we be?” The man asked and William sighed before laying down as the courier went to gather his sister and the rider.

The courier stepped back outside right into what could only be described as tension. The atmosphere had seemed to get heavier and more malevolent as they had waited for the man to return but now he was back. When Kelocias looked up at the man she saw he was nervous and she smiled to comfort him. "I take it we can enter now?" The rider moved to enter and was confronted by three swords aimed at her chest. "Boys, we all know I can kill every single one of you with just a flick of my wrist so lower your blades immediately." When the guards finally did as told, Kelocias smiled charmingly and flitted past and through the door. She needed to speak with William as soon as possible. Just then the magician stepped out of the door and stopped Kelocias. We really must examine your mind before allowing you past. The magician was being rude and she did not attempt to hide her hatred for the elfin rider. "I don't think that is necessary." Kelocias moved forward and was assaulted with a mental attack. Sighing she brushed past the woman's defenses and paralyzed her with a mental attack of her own. The rider walked into the room while the magician stood frozen to the spot with a grimace. "Sir William, I really must apologize in advance but your magician here has decided she needs to attack me mentally and so I now hold her in a state of paralysis until she agrees to stop. Please command this woman to cease her needless behaviors." In a quick motion the rider grabbed both arrows and put them on a table before dragging the magician into the room to stand next to the table.

Naomi dismounted in silence as Kelocias confronted the magician, understanding that she was only doing what she did as means of defense. It was a shame though, seeing the poor magician shriveled up in pain for just doing what she was told. That was just how things had to be. Perhaps the magician has a family back at home and was just trying to make a living like everyone else. Times are rough, and it's definitely going to get worse before it gets better. Looking on the bright side, and ignoring the obvious, was always a better way than seeing things how they really were; however, you always end up considering the real reasons later on. "William!" She carefully retreated around Kelocias, reaching down to gently hug her brother. "How are you? It's great to see you again. What happened to you? Are you alright?"
Naomi pelted him with question after question, only realizing she was doing it until after she did it. "Oops, sorry. I suppose the city getting attacked is more important." She quietly stated, amusement and slight embarrassment revealing itself in her voice as she took a step back to let the elfin rider and William discuss what was to be done. The city's under attack? What if there's a Rider out there, or even Galbatorix himself? Her thoughts wondered, leaving herself standing off to the side to let the officials do the work. "Is there anything I can do?"

Trelik sat at a table within a tavern, keeping an eye on the door while trying his best to remain innocuous. It was amazing sometimes who you can find coming into a place like this for a drink and what can be overheard after people had a few. Trelik would have to admit that a good portion of his intel and scores were because of taverns like this. Throughout the tavern he could overhear conversations about varying opinions about the Varden. Some citizens viewed them as a godsend, while others believe that the Varden would be the end of them. These weren't the conversations that he was hoping for.
Trelik watched as a couple of Varden soldiers, who happened to be dwarves, enter the tavern, taking a couple near the bar. They looked tired and tense, probably having just gotten leave to go off-duty. After getting their drinks, they began talking amongst themselves.
"Have you heard, the commander attacked one of his own bodyguards."
"Aye, and supposedly right after his sister came into the city. Such a shame."
"You don't think there could be connection, do you?"
"You should watch what you say there lad. It sounds like you are convicting the commander's sister for treason."
"No, no. Not at all. It just seems to be quite a bit of a coincidence, that's all."
"Well, whatever it is, dark magic is work. I can feel it in my bones."
"Aye"
Trelik didn't hear what else the two dwarves had to say as heard the door open and saw two men enter the tavern in a pretty dramatic manner. They looked pretty rough, but didn't wear any sort of uniform or insignia. Judging from that, Trelik guessed they were either mercenaries or bounty hunters. Neither of whom Trelik wanted to see at the time. His fears were soon comfirmed as they showed the bartender a piece of paper, in which the bartender took a quick look at before pointing at Trelik's direction.
Well, I guess this is the time for me to take my leave. Trelik thought as he tried to duck out of the bar. Unfortunately, he wasn't so successful as one of the men intercepted his path
"Where do you think your going?" The man that had intercepted him said intimidatingly. Trelik though, was unamused.
"I thought I would go out for some air for awhile. Maybe go check myself into an inn while I'm at it." Trelik said snidely as he looked at the man.
"Well, I'm afraid your going have to change your plans, Belock. You see, you have quite a bit of crowns on your head."
"Well, I'm afraid your to late about that. As you can see, the Empire doesn't quite have control over the city anymore, and as far as the Varden is concern, I'm nobody." Trelik informed the man as he tried to move past the man, but the man stopped him by placing his hand on Trelik's shoulder, in which Trelik quickly shrugged off.
"We know full well about the cities change in authority, but you must have done something pretty bad for the Empire to put so many crowns on your head, we figured that they wouldn't mind if we delivered you to Urû'baen instead."
"Is that so? Well, I'm afraid your wasting your time, because I'm not going with you."
"We weren't asking." The man said as he put his hand on Trelik's shoulder again.
At this time, most of the tavern's patrons had eyes on Trelik and the bounty hunter, This included the dwarf guards who had came in only moments ago, both of whom had hands on their weapons, ready to draw in case a fight broke out. Trelik's options looked pretty limited at the moment. How was he going to get out of this mess?
"I didn't think you were." Trelik said before he kneed the man right between the legs, before pushing the man to the side into a table. The supposed brother then drew his sword, charging at Trelik with a wild swing. Trelik deftly dodge the blow, and tripped the man with his foot. With the man on the floor, Trelik took the opportunity to stomp on the man's back, making sure he stays on the ground. Trelik then looked back as he saw the dwarf guards began to approach him with weapons drawn, ready to take them all in for disturbing the piece. Trelik didn't waste any time running out of the tavern.
Well, I guess I'm not going to be welcomed to this city again. He thought as he heard the dwarves command him to halt. Soon enough, he guessed the whole city's guard would be after him soon enough. At least as long as they didn't have something else to worry about at this time.
