Laetri opened his mouth to say something but then King Brenton came, said a word or two to Isrydia who then bolted out if in the general direction of William. He turned to Anira, about to say something but then she and Herion too bolted off. He looked around him in confusion. He had no idea what this was about until he heard the King mutter something about the dauthdartya Lily. He himself had no idea about it but his mother had informed him that it was the 11th to be built, and cursed with deadly magic.
He shook his head and cleared of his stupor. If William was going on an adventure -- though suicidal, he will accompany them in case his skills would help their chance of survival. He wished he could go hide in a small hole with only him and Agaravel, where the world, democracy, politics, and war would never bother them. Alas, the world did not give them much of a choice. He turned to Agaravel with a crazy grin."Are you sure Laetri? This is suicide!"[/color] he shrugged and said, "Would you rather die with friends or alone?he asked her to which her answer was a roar and a lift up onto her back.
As they quickly sped over to where the Varden had been waiting, he caught the last of William's speech and knew he was doomed. He was not a Rider for more than 7 months, and a youngling yet he had to do this! But he rathered dying with his friends than die alone. He reached the small group consisting of Brenton, Isrydia, William, and the young Arlyn. He heard Anira offer and felt shame that he had let her offer before him.
Stepping up quickly, he said, "Me and Agaravel too, we shall accompany you Sir William in your chase of Lily. I do not approve of this search as it will lead us all to our dooms, but if I die, let it be in the arms of a friend.", proud that his voice did not quaver even though inside he felt fear. He was the most un-capable in the little group and felt he would be a burden. He raised his chin high as if to show them he would not be a burden and Agaravel roared defiantely.
(OH MY GOD, 5 HOURS ON THIS. APPRECIATE IT!!!!!!!! Damn this cast :C)

William blinked in utter surprise as he felt his apprentices young dragon touch his mind, Speaking its warning William hardly had time to compose himself before he was assaulted from all sides by those he knew, And strangers alike. Stopping everyone from speaking after isrydia’s original warning William walked a small distance away from his men.
“Moral is a Fickle beast that I dance with on a constant basis, Please do not ruin what I have going for now…” William said calmly in a neutral tone before turning to his apprentice, When the Strange elven woman spoke he turned over, A single eyebrow raised, A dragon rider to go with him would help immensely in there journey, And not just help William, But his men in general.
Then the second rider agreed to help him and William could hardly believe his luck, But he quickly composed himself turning to the two elves who had agreed to help him.
“And I will gladly accept your help if you offer it, But…If you don’t mind me saying, I will be the one in command, I will accept your council of course, And you will help me make decision, But I want to make sure that you realize I will be the one making final calls on everything.” William said slowly, He knew elves could be proud, And he needed to bite that in the butt immediately.
“No, I was not aware the blade was cursed, However. Our homes are engulfed in chaos, And I will help it however I can…This weapon is the best chance we have to stop Galbatorix…” William said with a sigh.

Brenton shook his head in utter disappointment at how this knight was going about his quest as if he knew that he would be safe from all harm even if the blade was cursed to harm those it came in contact with. He knew that most humans were stubborn but at the moment Brenton wasn't sure if he entirely blamed William for his behavior or decision in the matter. Faren, you and Evan will go with Sir William on his quest for Anoron if he will have you as companions. Even if he is your commanding leader for the quest, you still speak under my commands so I expect a progress report every other day. If there is not one then I will send troops North to fetch any of you who are still alive. The king turned to two of his strongest spell casters and gave the orders before turning to William with a serious look in his eyes. He had to choose his words carefully for the knight knew of his feelings for Isrydia and Brenton didn't have reason to fully trust him. As for you, Sir William, this quest is made in haste and without enough thought on it but I send you two of my strongest spell casters and with the belief that if you find the sword then you will use it for good. Please do not let me down for we will need all of the help we can get in this matter right now and if you use Anoron for the Empire's favor then we will surely lose. Go with the blessing of the elven race and the strength of the riders.

Isrydia was glad to hear Laetri, Agaravel, Anira and Herion offered their help, as well as Brenton's assigning him two strong elven spellcasters. They would be able to protect him and his men against all sorts of things, including magic, which the Varden force would be less capable of using and protecting against. She glanced down at Arlyn, who was looking up at her expectantly from her side, tail gently brushing the ground. He could sense her wish to go as well, along with her reluctance, and she could tell that he wanted her to make a decision. "I want to go, Arlyn, but I don't think it's a sensible idea. It's too dangerous,"
"No," was the simple reply, accompanied by an image of her fighting, and one he had seen in her memories of her becoming a knight. If she was a knight, she was skilled enough to defend herself against anything that came her way.
"It's not just fighting, Arlyn. Magic too. I can barely cast a spell. You're not yet old enough to hold your own in a fight against something big, either, and the wound the Shade gave you might be healed, but it still took its toll on your strength. We need to learn and you need to grow," she argued. His eyes narrowed as she insisted he wasn't strong enough to fight, his pride hurt, but he couldn't deny that what she said was true. The Shade's wound had forced most of his body's energy to healing and keeping himself alive rather than growing, and as such he was somewhat smaller and weaker than he should be at his age. Being only waist height and having no training in combat left him an easy target, and being a dragon made him a likely one. He could tell that his Rider also didn't want to get herself too involved in the Varden and the civil war, even though she did not voice that directly to him. It was almost impossible to keep any secrets with the bond they shared.
Turning back to William, she spoke again. "As much as I would like to go with you, William, I'm afraid I think it's best if I didn't. I barely know a thing about magic, and Arlyn is too young for something so dangerous, plus he needs to recover from the wound that Shade near Dras-Leona gave him," she explained. He should remember the Shade, she thought, since he had been in the city when they'd called for help from one of the Varden's Kull. A Shade attack was news which traveled around fast, too, as having something like that around was far from desirable. "I'm sorry. You'll pull through this, I know you will. Your men are strong, as are these spellcasters, Riders and dragons. I don't know if anyone will be able to find Eragon, but I know you'll achieve something good," she apologized. She was upset that she wasn't going, but she knew in her heart it would be the wrong choice to make. Staying here was best for her for the time being. There would be plenty of time to help William once he returned and Arlyn was strong enough to fight, wouldn't there?
