I am a huge fan of the Abhorsen Trilogy by Garth Nix and it seems to me that there is sad lack of rpgs for it. Even if you haven't read the books, it is a wonderful fantasy world to rp in.
Astarael RPG takes place ten years after Kerrigor killed the queen and broke the Great Charter stones under Belisaere. A regent, Antomas, now rules the Old Kingdom, but his hold is shaky and the kingdom is beginning to crumble. The number of necromancers and Free Magic sorcerers lurking in the corners of the realm is beginning to grow, and with the breaking of Charter Stones across the kingdom the Dead are encroaching on villages and cities. To make matters worse, the Abhorsen was recently killed and now a young, untested woman will inherit the title. The fate of the kingdom is uncertain, and the future is full of shadows. Those of the Old Kingdom must try to find their own peace and courage in the midst of so much evil.
