Out of the world of chaos had emerged a being of immense strength back in the beginning of the world's first creation and now that creature slumbered below the Earth with his head resting on his paws in the superheated fires of a volcanic crater. Above him was the Fire Citadel, long destroyed from his exhaustion winning out and making him fall to a deep sleep while he tried to keep the building strong and alive yet now something was amiss and the being could sense change in his immediate area as if someone was disturbing the crumbling walls of the citadel above. Blinking open an eye, red like the fire that coated his scales, Inferno arched his neck and glared upward. Nothing seemed to be going on but there had been recent change to the structure of the citadel and now it was being rebuilt for a reason unknown to him. Apparently it was time for the dragon to awaken from his rest and find out what was going on so he arched his neck again and the earth groaned as he moved and shot out of the volcano, leaving pillars of fire shooting out with him into the heavens that announced his arrival into the sky once more. It had once been that the guardian would arise in the same manner ever one hundred years to check on the world but it had been a dead time for him when the Branches crumbled so he slumbered on and now a couple centuries had passed to leave ruins of what had once been.
Inferno glared at the land and looked around while people looked to the sky that had darkened aside from the constant glow of his scales and the pillar of lava. They had fear in their eyes and worry in their motions as they gawked up at his massive form and he spread his wings with a great rush of winds. Many people had noted him as being larger that Alagaesia but he was actually but a third of the size most people said and now he roared to the heavens causing the sky to ripple and bend with his mighty call to his friends and allies who had once ruled with him. There had been guardians of each branch; Air, Water, Fire, Earth, and Psychic. Now he looked around and remembered that Ender had gone to the Nether with his citadel and almost guaranteed was still there but where were the other guardians at this time? Inferno took flight and screams went up as the people saw just how massive this dragon truly was for they had never seen a creature of such immense proportions and yet one flew there in front of them with no care as to what would happen if the Empire got their hands upon him. Inferno roared once again, this time casting his mind out to everyone within reach, looking for his fellow guardians. All of the guardians had faded and were now considered myth among general population but there were people who still told the Tale of Infernal Creation and now those who had heard whispered his name, Inferno.
Inferno shot a pillar of fire outward and flew around a bit before he settled back upon the volcano and waited for he was sure to have gathered attention from someone along the way and now it was but a matter of time before they came. Maybe it would be the Elder of his branch and he could meet the wise leader and share his knowledge of how the Branch had once thrived so there could be some semblance of normalcy about him. Inferno waited and his eyes flickered and danced like real fires while he folded his wings and sat upon the volcano itself, guarding the Citadel once more.

The sun started to hide, leaving the land surrounded by shadows and darkness, only illuminated by some fire in the houses of the humans and the scales of Inferno. In the exact moment that last sunray finally disappeared a wave of energy bathed the land, so ancient that the land almost forgot that it existed at all, making tired travelers and animals suddenly feeling stronger, and making plants grow quicker and blooms open, revealing the beautiful flowers that hid inside of them. A huge portal opened high on the sky and a huge black dragon came out of it, impossible to see except from his glowing purple eyes.
Ender looked at the land that he hadn’t visited in so long, a little surprised of how much it had changed in the years that he had been sealed inside the Nether. His mind reached any living being in a ratio of kilometers for a few seconds, but it was so well hidden that anyone who didn’t knew about him wouldn’t notice his presence at all. His mind found suddenly a barrier of lava and fire, Ender couldn’t help but smile when he recognized such a powerful barrier, it had been so long since he had seen Inferno, the massive guardian of the fire branch. He started to fly towards the volcano, soon spotting the huge dragon sitting on the border of said volcano. He opened his mind at him while flying “Nice to see you again after all these years, Inferno”

Ender, friend, it has been many years and this land has changed much. Is there construction on the Psychic Citadel in the Nether as well? Inferno had a feeling of malevolence around them as he noticed dark shapes trailing a lone traveler. It made his growl but the guardian had long since stopped himself from dealing in mortal affairs if they had nothing to do with the branches. Birds wheeled in the sky and suddenly Inferno could see the traveler was heading toward the volcano with supplies for the citadel. As they neared, Inferno could see that the others were were carrying weapons meant to steal from the supplies. This had gone from neutral to his problem so the guardian gave a small puff of air and supe until the thieves fled in fear. Inferno turned back to Ender and gave a brief nod while the traveler warily continued forward past the two dragons.rheated

Ender landed softly near to Inferno, but far enough to not get burned by the intense heat of his scales of the volcano where he lived, since he wasn’t adapted to live near such temperatures he preferred to stay a little away from them unless it was really necessary, looking how Inferno made some thieves flee as the traveler, which he recognized as part of the fire branch by his resistance to the intense heat that surrounded them when any normal human would have died by being so near to the active volcano, walked towards the citadel “You know that the battle in the Nether left the psychic citadel almost completely destroyed, so it will be hard to rebuild. The elder of my branch apparently prefers to explore the ruins before starting the rebuilding for now. I can’t blame him though; you know perfectly how confusing the Nether can be, especially for newcomers”

Inferno fluttered his wings a bit as he watched the Fire Branch member enter the volcano with a nervous glance at him and Ender. He chuckled and looked at Ender again while he thought carefully about what the guardian was saying. In his first visit to the to the Nether he had been lost but luckily the fire guardian was friends with Ender. It is wise of one so youthful to gain knowledge of where he lives. It appears that while we all slumbered the world has brought back what we once thought was was lost. How have the years fared for you friend? Years of living had taught the enormous dragon it was best to know of others and be respectful of your friends.

Ender smiled at Inferno “The years made me grow a lot more patient and dedicated to my work inside the Nether, since, unlike you, my friend, I’m not able to sleep for too long, if I tried to do so the energy building up inside me would kill me in a matter of months at much. When I was sealed inside the Nether I tried to sleep releasing my energy while doing so, but even with that precaution I had to wake up five months after I went to sleep. My body was aching so badly that I couldn’t even move and blood came out from my mouth each time I breathed, when I released the energy inside me I nearly destroyed the island where I was resting and the ones close to it, it took me almost a whole month to recover, if I had stayed asleep for a couple of days more I’m almost sure that I wouldn’t had awaken at all” He said, he knew that a power like the one he hold was ambitioned by a lot of people, but the price he had to pay for having it could be way too high if he tried to hold back for too long. Ender shook away the memory from his mind, he hated to remember the pain he went through after that unpleasant experience “What about you, my friend? Something happened in the normal world while I was sealed? Tonight it’s my first time here after the original branches fell after all. I could take all the possible knowledge from the living beings in this land through their minds, but it’s not the same as hearing it from the direct point of view of someone” He looked at Inferno with a friendly smile, moving his tail lightly.

Many changes have occurred around the land but this night is my first awake since the branches fell. I have heard whispers of one named Galbatorix and the cruelty he possesses but there is also tale of one named Brenton who tries to save the land from such torture. Just today when lava spewed forth with me a terrible scream erupted and everyone fled. Ender we are not as well known as before. Now few know the Tale of Infernal Creation and I find no mention of you or the others in mortal minds. It is saddening to think we have gone to myth in the world of man. Still Ender I admire your ability to stay awake and be so patient. Inferno gazed out at the land and wondered what could have happened to make these people so fearful.

Ooc: Sure Vlaer!!!
Ender looked at the land as well before answering “I heard those mind whispers too, but I’m not surprised about the lack of knowledge about us, at least not of mine’s, since most of the documents that mentioned me were destroyed in the fall, I also admire your patience, even if you were asleep I’m sure it wasn’t easy for you to resist the urge of awake and look at the world” Ender then looked at Inferno again “About those called Galbatorix and Brenton…….don’t take me wrong, my friend, I don’t want to look selfish or uninterested about the subject, but you know perfectly that only once I cared about the normal word thanks to the elf elder that bounded with me so many years ago to stop the war and undo the branches. I usually only care of the Nether’s affairs and avoid getting involved in the ones of your world” Ender looked at the sky and took a deep breath, unleashing a small wave of energy “But times are changing, winds that were once unknown to us are blowing each time stronger and I can see armies and death getting closer through the light of the mysterious moon. These times make even the hardest diamond to change its shape, and they will also make us prove ourselves, I can feel it in my scales, Inferno, we need to hurry if we want to rebuild the branches if we don’t want them to fall like dry wood under the powerful fire of war” Ender’s words were low and deep, he looked absent, like if his mind had left his body somehow, but it only lasted for a few seconds.
Ooc: Ender’s powers let him read almost anyone’s mind in Alagaësia, and that lets him know more than almost any being. That power also lets him predict the future depending on the thoughts and decisions of the ones that inhabit the land, but he never tells the full truth and when gives hints he speaks in some kind of riddles or confusing stories, since he knows perfectly that the future can change, though most of times the things that he tells become true, even if some years are needed for that.

((That's fine I'm sure that all the guardians will convene eventually.))
Inferno nodded his large head and thought carefully upon the situation these mortals seemed to get themselves into frequently enough. Yet something seemed to be bothering Ender and that made the guardian contemplate as to what was actually in his mind at that exact moment. Ender, war plagues this land like our lesser brethren once did to the elves of the forest before the riders were first formed. While it is true I seek peace at times, fighting between the mortals is of no concern to me. All I ask of you is that you not use your strength to aid in their petty disputes. Let us not seek sides and focus only upon the reconstruction of the citadels and forming of the branches. If one day this war threatens to destroy that which we stand for then I do pray it is not us who are split and hurtled into battle against each other. Inferno sighed and searing winds hit the land that they were on. What of Riptide or Tera Nova? Have you received word from them since the branches originally fell? In the years since they went to slumber, Inferno had wondered what had happened to his friends and allies.

Ender looked at Inferno again, now out of his previous thoughts, and nodded “After the war we had to go through when the branches fell I really hope that I don’t have to get involved in a fight ever again. Even if we are forced into battle I share your point of view, splitting up and having to fight each other would be devastating, not only for the branches, but for ourselves as well. We were born to guard together and help each other when they are going through any hard times, not to fight each other in any way” Ender laid down on the volcano’s borders, careful to not step on the incandescent rocks or accidentally dip his own tail in the lava “I’m as oblivious of the rest of the guardians as you are, Inferno, when I came out from the Nether tonight I could hear some whispers coming from the wind and read messages of the earth and seas that told me about them, apparently they hadn’t shown up in all these years neither, so I can’t really tell you anything about them” Ender looked at the lands again, like if he wished to spot any of the other guardians.

Inferno gave a low rumble as he contemplated what that meant the gave a small chuckle that turned to a choking laugh. I know where our fellow guardians prefer to stay. What say you, Ender, if we go in search of Riptide at the Water Citadel. He is sure to be at the pool just like I was in the lava and you the Nether. Already the ancient dragon was moving and looking toward the seas where the Citadel was while pulled his tail from the lava. With a lazy flick of the appendage, Inferno sent a young elk into the air where he caught it and ate. It was minuscule in size but the elk would last him long enough until he could get some food. He stretched and opened his wing while the world seemed to tremble from the massive form being so close to it and moving yet again after devouring an animal with relative ease.

Ender stretched a little and yawned, revealing his purple tongue and huge teeth. The warmth that surrounded the fire citadel, once he got more or less used to it, managed to make him feel sleepy and comfortable, he had forgotten that feeling after all those years he was sealed in the Nether. After shaking his head a little to get rid of the feeling, he got up and looked at his friend, who was already leaving without letting him answer “I think that’s a good idea, it had been so long, I wonder what stories they have to tell. I wonder if some of them know more about what had been happening around” He said, following Inferno, looking how he at the young elk without saying a single word.

Inferno felt the familiar breeze on his scales as he soared over the land with Ender who was behind him and wondering about the land yet again. With a low grumble he angled upward and watched as the people below scattered when he brought his giant wings down to cause the down draft that made the trees bend under the pressure. It is likely that one of them knows more about it than we do.

(( I know Riptide still hasn't been accepted but I'm not expecting him to be declined, and if he is I'll just delete the post, anyways, here we go! ))
Deep under the ocean, tremors could be felt. Riptide rose up to his feet and shook his mane. It had been so long since he had felt such activity. However, as the tremors got closer it was obvious to him what had caused it. The only thing large enough to cause such a tremor for him to feel from all the way under the ocean in the remains of the Water Citadel, was Inferno or Ender. Excited, he kicked up to the surface where he found huge waves sloshing up onto the shore. Immediately he calmed the waters and stepped out of the ocean for the first time in almost a whole century, if not more.
The birds and the animals of the forest began to sing of the return of the Guardians and the water seemed to be stirring with excitement. Along the way, Riptide met no one and as he reached Inferno ( as Inferno and Ender were hard to miss out in open daylight ) he hailed them with rising upon his back hooves and whinnied."Hello Ender, and Inferno. It has been a long time. Though what brings you here? Also, Inferno my friend, you need to learn to control your strength. If you are not careful you could just as easily demolish my cave under the sea just as much as you could demolish forests with a single swipe of your massive paw." he said to Inferno with mock amusement in his voice.
Then, turning to Ender, he said,"Hello Ender. It has been a long time." his voice now changed. Almost anxious and un-trusting. He had never felt at ease near Ender. He felt like he could simply stream all his secrets out of his head."Do you two have any idea why we have awoken? Also, any idea on where Tera Nova and the Air Guardian would be?" he asked them both. He avoided naming the Air Guardian by name as, the last time he had done so, a gust of wind so strong had slammed into him and splattered much of his essence back into the ocean whereas it had token him an entire day to mend.

Ooc: It’s nighttime Vlaer, remember that Ender can’t come to the normal world at day, the sun would kill him in matter of minutes.
Ender followed Inferno, flying through the night sky, silently as a shadow, though not invisible, since the intense glow of his purple eyes was really hard to miss. He looked at Inferno while he talked and smiled “Indeed, I was sealed away for all these years and were deep asleep in your bed of lava, so none of us knows much about the events of the past years apart of what this world and its creatures can tell us, but I really don’t know if the other guardians have all the knowledge we lack” He said, but then smiled, thinking on his old friends brought him some nice memories. When he spotted Riptide he landed softly near to the shore where the water guardian was and smiled at him, he felt immediately the barriers on Riptide’s minds to block him out, he knew he could broke through them if he wanted, but he respected the intimacy of his friend’s thoughts, so he didn’t tried to do so, though he couldn’t fully retract from his mind thanks to his powers.
When Riptide talked to him, he immediately noticed the anxious and untrusting tone in his voice, but he couldn’t blame him at all, before they were friends he usually sneaked inside his mind completely unnoticed, just like he did with the other guardians, and could get hold of all the knowledge, actions and decisions he had, even before he could tell them out loud, and even after they became friends it was really hard for him to stay out of his mind until he managed to make a barrier strong enough to partially block him. “It’s nice to see you too, Riptide. The reason of our meeting is obvious, the branches came back and it’s our duty to help them once more” He tried to keep his voice as gentle and calm as possible, only letting enough of his powers get in Riptide’s mind to talk with him, so he wouldn’t invade his mind accidentally “About the other guardians, I have no idea, sorry. They shouldn’t be far from here though”.

My friend, much is needed to be said but for now we just say that the branches have been rebuilt and there are creatures who try to aid in the citadels being raised again. As I just awoke but a few hours ago and gave forth a mighty roar to call us together, I know not if Tera Nova or the Air Guardian are even awakened yet by the powerful forces that called us up from slumber. My strength is unchecked because fore the first time in two centuries I am able to fly and rejoice yet again. I am filled with deep regret if I did any harm to your resting place. In his wise and deep voice, Inferno spoke to Riptide and remembered the first time they had met. Eons ago the dragon had been flying around near the ocean when the water erupted in his face and caused him intense pain. At that time he was still young so the ensuing battle had been less damaging than it would be now. Now they were friends and respected each other deeply.

Tera Erde Neue
Don't cry, destroy these imprisoned illusions Just once, rise above your demise War, droughts, floods, fires, death and life. The earth held much knowledge but Tera Nova in her physical form would only remember shadows of the events. Passively watching them but charged to protect the earth not record history. She had awoken the instant the Earth Elder had been named. Much had changed since she'd last been able to take this form. What caught her attention though was not something new, but rather something old. "Ender," she thought. She knew his presence anywhere and while she was no where near him as long as he was not in the Nether she could feel him. She stood in the center of the glade that was the earth citadel. It already was restored to it's former glory. Having been much like Ellesmera she needed only command the plants to restore it. For they had not had war in their sanctuary during the sealing of the branches. A large brown dragon, Entas, was near by and watched her. Tera Nova had greeted Entas and her rider, the elder of the branch the moment they had arrived. A smile crossed her fox like face when she heard a familiar sound, Inferno. It seemed the other guardians were awake as well after so many years. "Rakaio," she called. The elder was surprised but approached from where he had been sitting near his dragon sculpting something from wood. "What is it Tera Erde Neue," Rakaio asked. "Inferno, the fire guardian calls to me. I must go," she said kindly. Rakaio nodded and watched as Tera Nova's essence melded with the earth. Near the ocean where she sensed Ender to be she emerged from the earth retaking her physical form. The flowers on her ear looked as vibrant and alive as though they'd only bloomed and been picked that morning. Immediately three birds flew to her chirping excitedly in greeting. She smiled at them before darting towards the shore and the ocean's edge. The ground responded to her touch as new vegetation sprang up wherever her paws touched and the scent of spring hung in the air around her. The birds followed her until they caught sight of the other guardians and they fled. She slowed to a trot until she was near them where she sat down. Instantly a flower grew next to her. "I've missed you too," she whispered to the flower. In comparison to the other guardians she was diminutive. She instinctively put up barriers in her mind to block Ender, knowing full well she couldn't keep him at bay if he choose to enter her mind. But as she had told him once, the secrets of the earth were not for him to know. "Ender, it's been a long time," she said. She always had gotten along well with the other guardians though to some degree she feared Ender. He was her bane and could easily trap her and separate her from her beloved earth. Which had happened once but not by Ender's doing but one of the Branch's riders. "Inferno, Riptide," she said in greeting. "I hope your branches are doing well, they are all but young saplings for now."

Ender smiled at Riptide while Inferno talked to him. Suddenly he felt a known mind, but no barriers around it. With a smile he pulled away from said mind as much as he could until he felt the barriers build up, and even then he kept trying to avoid his power to do any accidental harm to the barriers as he watched Tera coming towards them and made a light reverence at her when she talked to him “It’s nice to see you too after all this years, Tera” He said at her, many people usually thought that Ender looked down at Tera for her size and for him being her bane, but they couldn’t be further from the truth. He really respected Tera, since she was really wise, he dared to say that even wiser to himself or any other of the guardians, since she held the knowledge of millions and millions of years, as well as secrets that he would never be able to know. When he was younger he tried to find out such secrets in his search of wisdom, but later felt ashamed of invading Tera’s mind like that, especially when she scolded him for it, since then he rarely tried to enter in her mind, respecting her secrets, the secrets of the earth, and learned about the importance of any secret. Plus when one of the riders of his branch dragged her into the Nether, almost killing her, he couldn’t help but blame himself for said act, even after he helped her out again, thinking that he should had paid more attention to the actions of the riders that he was guarding and of the presences inside the Nether, making him feel like if he had a huge debt with her, also making him feel really depressed and ashamed of himself when someone mentioned said act. And even after all those years, he never managed to get over that.
When she asked about the branches Ender sighed, looking at her “The citadel of my branch is completely destroyed, my riders will have a tough time when they start rebuilding it” He said honestly, remembering how beautiful the ancient citadel was, wondering if the new riders would ever be able to restore it to its former glory and beauty. He then looked at the sky, four of the five guardians were there, but the air guardian still didn’t showed up, it was taking a little too long and Ender was starting to get worried. He took a deep breath before looking at the other guardians, relaxing again.
