Guardian of Water
Other Names: Riptide, Water Guardian, Protector of the Ocean.
Race: Unknown
Side: Water Branch
Magic User: Yes, though he cannot use much magic other than the magic that consists with water. Though he uses water in healing spells and spells that purify someone of poisons etc etc.
Gender: Male
Preferred Weapon(s): Riptide prefers not to engage in combat unless truly necessary but when he does, he combines venomous teeth along with powerful magic to his advantage. He also uses his tail at times to protect himself. In Horse form he simply uses his hooves and the water to do his bidding.
Birthplace: No one is certain, though rumors say he was made in the bottom of the sea by a force beyond comprehension; nature. Some say he simply emerged from a large sea cave. Others say he was made by the very same crest that made the ocean.
Age: He is, like the other Guardians, part of nature itself and is as old as the world.
Birthday: Unknown, likely to be the same day the first oceans and seas began on Earth.
Eyes: A strange sea green. Staring into his eyes is like staring at the ocean. Some days it is predictable.. others, not so much predictable.
Size: After Tera Nova, Riptide is the smallest Guardian. He is more or less a large serpent. He is about 2 feet in width and is 2 meters long. Though in Horse form he is about three times as large as a normal horse.
Powers: Control over water, Fast, His scales are very hard and not easily penetrated, If he is dealt by a killing blow his essence erupts and hides into the sea until he fully mends, Only way to kill him is by destroying the Water citadel's sacred pool, He can also command the monsters of the sea, Can cause Tsunamis, Water heals him.
Abilities: Fast and swift, His bite is venomous, Mind cannot be captured, Very resistant to fire.
Traits: He is both a snake and a dragon, in the way that he is very loyal to any friends who prove themselves but is also very cold and strikes fast at enemies.
Weaknesses: Is tied to the ocean and seas, if they are polluted or blocked mostly he will begin to suffer. If a single body of water, big or small, is polluted beyond recovery, he is affected deeply and will begin to take pain. Also, if his essence were to be scattered by very strong winds, his mending will slow significantly and if the winds are not stopped in a matter of 7 days, he will begin to die and on the 8th day will be dead.
Strengths: He could command the sea to raise a solid yet liquid wall of water to act as a shield or a weapon.
Appearance: The true form of Riptide is actually a beautiful horse that is made of transparent magical water that contains his essence, though he is also often seen in his serpent form. Between the two, his horse form is much more stronger and in many senses more beautiful. In Serpent form, he has old barnacle stuck to his sapphire blue scales that gleam sea green in the sun. In Horse form he is a beautiful horse, much larger than others and made of sea green water. This water is actually his essence and is, although, being water, liquid, is also solid and acts as an armor harder than any other substance.
Personality: He is noble and very friendly to anyone who is a loyal friend of his or has simply proved himself an honest and true soul. On the other hand, he also is sometimes cold and snaps quickly like a snake. He punishes arrogant people harshly and treats noble people like kings, no matter their position.

History:
Long ago, in the depths of the earth, a single crest of water emerged from a cave. That cave was the only cave that contained water at the time. That crest began to shape itself, turning into a beautiful horse. However, this horse, albeit being made of what seemed to be water, was solid. The 'water' as they say it, or, in truth, the essence of the Ocean and it's seas, was the essence or soul of Riptide, the Water Guardian. Riptide at first was usually seen as a large serpent that had unusually blue scales and huge large teeth. He rarely was seen however in this form and mostly seen in his horse form. Though all in all, he was barely ever seen ever unless he was direly needed by man-kind or any other creatures.
At first, he thought he was the only of his kind. But soon enough as he came of age, he began to realize of a tugging in his gut and mind and soon found out that he was not alone. The first he was to meet was the Earth Guardian, Tera Nova. The two got along rather well as would be suggested by their elements and soon after, he met the Fire Guardian as well, Inferno. Riptide had, in both times, mt the other guardians in his horse form rather than his serpent form which he used mostly at times he went into hiding. The Earth Guardian had been rather pleasant, and he in turn had took the time to listen and he started understanding her small size.
Inferno however, was a rather different idea. Some say they simply didn't get along so well at the beginning but soon became very close friends. The first time they had met had ended with a non-intentional clash as Riptide had rushed out of the water and much of the water had slammed into Inferno, causing vapor to steam into the air and the whole earth trembled at the strength of such forces clashing. Thankfully however, these two Guardians were not as old and powerful as they are currently or else their unintentional clash would have had more than enough power to demolish a huge crater into the ground within a 1,000,000 square kilometers or even possibly larger.
Riptide soon after met the Air Guardian who was an honest and nice soul, but he didn't really get to talk to her much due to the fact that he was stuck on the ground and in the ocean where he had his duties while she flew up to the Citadel and did her own duties up there. Ender however, was another story. He was weird acting and always knew what Riptide was about to do a few seconds before. Soon however, Riptide and the other Guardians began to learn how to be able to block Ender some-what, though he would always be a force to reckon with and could also still get through their minds with semi-ease even though they could partly block him.
