(I had this idea stuck in my mind for quite a while, and I couldn’t help but make this )
Name: Ender (Also called “Guardian of The Nether” by some)
Side: None
Birthplace: The Nether
Was his/her egg in the wild or with the empire/varden: Wild
If Dragon Rider, how did the rider find the egg?: Don’t have a rider, but if someone convinces him he would allow him/her to ride him (This bounding can be permanent or temporary, the Gedwëy Ignasia left by said bounding would be glowing purple instead of silver)
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Eyes: Glowing purple
Scale Color: Black and dark gray
Appearance: Ender is a really ancient dragon, and is known that only one exists in the actuality, the few ones who saw him recorded his appearance on scripts and books, but now all those people are dead and most of all of the books and scripts of this dragon are lost or were destroyed somehow, making him really mysterious. He’s a really large dragon, usually larger than any known dragon, with obsidian black scales covering his body. He has dark grey scales on his wings, but his membrane is still black. His spikes, claws and horns are from the same dark grey color. His eyes are purple and have a really nice glow that can be seen from miles away if you pay enough attention. His body built is perfect for fighting, speed and agility, both in The Nether and in the normal world, making him a powerful opponent. Usually mistaken by a dragon spirit by his glowing eyes and psychic powers, it isn’t uncommon to find him described as a supernatural creature, created from pure energy. He also breathes purple fire that has a more intense glow than any usual fire.
Personality: He’s usually a loner, not used to having any other beings near, especially since the Rider Branches sealed his world with their fall. When he finds another being he would immediately check out who came to his world and why. The purple glow on his eyes is only a sign of the magnificent psychic power and energy that he holds, which can only be roughly matched by the most powerful of spirits, making really easy for him to destroy any mind barriers when wanting to know the intentions of somebody, though nobody knows how he manages to get such amount of energy, it’s possible that Ender himself doesn’t knows either. He’s usually peaceful towards anyone unless his/her intentions inside of his world can be destructive or dangerous. He doesn’t cares at all of their plans or intentions inside the normal world though, so, as long as they don’t harm The Nether or bring any destruction to it, Ender usually ignores them, no matter if they are evil or good in their own world. Unluckily for Ender, the great power he holds comes to a price, since his body can’t hold all the energy he stores without exploding, he’s constantly unleashing huge waves of pure energy around The Nether to keep his own stores of energy in balance and don’t die, it’s believed that his energy is what keeps the whole Nether in its current state, though said information isn’t confirmed at all.
He’s so used to his own world after so many centuries in it, that traveling to the normal world isn’t really good for him. Even if he can travel at night freely through both worlds, at least while The Nether isn’t sealed, at day it’s impossible for him to do so, since the smallest sunray can leave him completely blind and can cause severe burns on his body that could kill him in only matter of a few minutes, like if he had fallen into a volcano itself. It’s easy to know if Ender traveled or not to the normal world at night thanks to the powerful waves of energy that can be felt in the places where he was. Many wizards and ancient riders always were in chase of Ender before the fall of the Rider Branches because of his never-ending energy, but nobody ever managed to succeed on said chase. He’s really old, and consequently very wise, knowing almost anything you can ask to him, sometimes he can even know what will happen even years before said event, but don’t let his age fool you; he’s still as strong, agile and fast as he was when he was young.
--->Likes: The Nether, peace, silence, sharing his knowledge, the night.
--->Dislikes: The normal world’s day, too much noise, anybody trying to harm The Nether.
--->Strengths: Huge amounts of energy and psychic power, his knowledge.
--->Weakness: Light, sun, not being able to release his power, too easy to track thanks to the waves of energy he always leaves behind, his waves of energy allows anyone who is near him use his own energy against him.
History: How or when Ender was born is a complete mystery. Some think that he hatched from a black egg with glowing purple spots inside The Nether, others think that he was created by pure energy, and even some think that he had always existed. Depending on the version of this dragon’s history some people thinks that when he hatched on The Nether when there was only one small floating island, barely enough to hold a 4 months old dragon hatchling, and it stayed that way until he started to grow up, the energy of his body slowly starting to gather more and more floating islands as his power grew until The Nether reached the size that it actually had. Other versions said that the energy itself of The Nether gave birth to Ender, making them grow at the same time. Finally some said that Ender himself created The Nether from an empty space he found once with his huge energy. However, the truth is and apparently will always be a mystery, since nobody was there to witness the dragon’s birth, and if someone did, he/she would be dead by now. Each time anyone that manages to earn enough trust from Ender to ask him that question and receive an answer, Ender only gives a quick and confusing tale which changes from time to time, thing that makes impossible to anyone to hold the truth behind the tale and set a date or place, or even a way.
Everyone knew about him and could feel his great power when they were in The Nether when the Rider Branches were at his highest power, but only a few managed to see him, and even less managed to share a word or two with him. Speculations an rumors started to spread like a fire about him by those few, leading a big amount of mercenaries and treasure hunters, as well as some beings that wanted his huge power to themselves, to chase him at day and night, but none ever managed to get close enough to even land a finger on him, mostly because of his knowledge of The Nether and his psychic power to know where his enemies were, since he rarely used his powers as an attack.
Only one rider, an elf and elder of the psychic branch, managed to ride Ender near the time of the fall of the Rider Branches, but it was only for the lapse of 3 years. The reason was the increasing number of beings wanting Ender’s power, invading the Nether. Even though the battle was won the ruins of the battle were all around the Nether, and it was one of the reasons of why the elders decided to undo the Branches, fearing that the great power he hold corrupted anyone else. With a last goodbye, the elf elder and Ender took different paths, since the elf had to stay in the normal world to teach the younger riders about the mistake of the older ones and Ender had to stay on The Nether so it wouldn’t collapse without his waves of energy. Ender had to stay sealed in The Nether and the elder elf got hold of all the books and scripts about Ender that he could find, destroying them to avoid anyone else being seduced by Ender’s power again, but some copies of said books and scripts managed to escape his grasp, some got lost with time, but other, really few and rare, managed to reach the present intact (Or mostly intact).
Nothing was known about Ender since the psychic branch sealed The Nether, but now, with a new generation of the psychic branch, soon he will be revealed to the world again.
