Hey.
I've always wanted to join an eragon rp of some sort ever since I read the books, so here I am I guess. And I wanted to join a chill one too, not with 10000 members that are all rp fanatics. My only previous forum rp experience came from a naruto forum rp site, and it was fucking insane. I swear, there must have been at least 3000 members (or bigger, i give really bad estimates) on that site...I still go to it, but you have to do training to even get anywhere and there's this OOC elite and...well...it just takes way too much of my time, and I feel like an outsider.
So, I saw this site, and I thought it was cool. I hope I can help make it come alive some more in my spare time. I mean, how can you not rp this stuff? The Eragon universe is too in-depth not to. And you guys seem to do it in a relaxed fashion...it's really much nicer that way, when you rp for fun and not as a lifestyle. And so, I have come here to seek greatness...or something like that ^^.
If any of you want to start something up soon, I'm totally game for it. Just let me know, and I'll hop right on it. I may not make a character straight away since i kind of want to think about it a little more, but I'll try to. I don't want to waste any of your time by just being an idle person...like i ended up in the dreaded naruto rp site -_-.
Seriously, I can't wait to start rping here and make some friends along the way. See y'all soon hopefully ^^.

Hey Kaane welcome to site. I remember joining this site back in the day and being shocked by the small member group. Now it is good because we are all good friends and are good rp people. Just take your time making a character and read the rules and all the info on characters and their races. If you have questions then ask anyone. Mods are Vlaer, Silver, and I. Assistant Admin is Merlin. Admins are Emiryal and Rhaxta.

I'm gonna be short and brief cuz I don't have much time :/. Welcome to the site first off! I'm Will, or mostly known as, Vlaer. As Brenton - Flamebreathe - said, I'm also one of the mods so if you need anything or if you make a character, then just post in the Character list and we'll add 'im up. Anyways, as I said, this'll be a brief welcoming seeing as I gotta finish packing for Rome. Ciao!

Lol, thanks for the warm welcome. I can see it won't be hard to fit in here at all now ^^. And Aelodil, going to Rome sounds epic. Tell me how it is; someday I wanna plan a small trip to Europe someday, but the amount of places to go to is quite staggering...I would like to go to Germany though, if only to go crazy driving the Autobahn . I do know that Florence is quite nice though. If you have any extra time, you should see it.

AHA! Rome's internet has prevailed! Although slow as hell, it's working..-ish. Sometimes it just suddenly decides to cut itsself off. Anyways, well, first off Kane * Can I call you that? * this place ain't hard to fit in at all. We're all just a bunch of crazy lunatic friends that like to mess around. We like to help anyone who's know, you included and we're glad you joined the community! Also, if you want to travel to Europe.. ugh, too much. If you have like an extreme bill for it. Like if you're willing to spend about 10,000 euros I could point out TONS of places. Though let's stick to the more realistic. Rome is not the place you want go to if: a) You have a low stamina * Cars and such are very slow so you're better off walking and using public transportation such as metro trains * b) You hate walking a lot * As I said, walking is the best way along with metro to get around Rome * c) Don't like history. Rome has TONS of history, not something you could cover, even in a week! It'd take at least about two weeks to cover everything in Rome. There's the Colosseum, the Vattican, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, hell, too much to even count! Also, Istanbul is another nice place. In Istanbul you'd find mosques and a few churches, in Rome you find a toooooooooooooooooooooon of churches mostly. The Pantheon as well was turned into a church awhile back. Um..... also, Jordan and the middle-east! * Where I live in after moving from after America, woot! * has a lot to see but the people are craaaaaaaaaaaazy. France as well if you like art. Spain doesn't have much to offer after the Romans demolished it and took their stuff. Greece is in a crisis, avoid there. Anyways, I can see I've been blabbering a lot. If you want anymore tips or such just give me a message and I'll see if I can reply. Depends on the internet's mood . Anyways, ciao!

I oftentimes wonder how we've had the internet open to the public for 20 years or so and they still can't quite get it right. And as for my name, lots of people seem to shorten it to Kane. It has this weird pronunciation I made up...like "Kay-ahn-ay," if you were to sound it out. Don't even ask me, I confuse myself with my own pen name sometimes 0_o...but yes, Kane's fine . I don't mind any of the things you mentioned really, not even the walking parts. I'm quite interested in the history of Europe and Renaissance Art, most likely due to Dan Brown's novels more than anything else. Western Europe is perhaps the most complicated civilization pantheon to even begin studying, since there's so much to it. And I haven't really considered the Middle East, but now that you mention it it does have some really interesting history as well. There's so much influence from Christianity, Islam, and Judaism...it would be a lovely place if people weren't killing each other for reasons I can't fathom. The 10,000 Euros part...umm...I'll figure that out later. But seriously, thanks for pointing the stuff out you did. I'm taking all of it in consideration of the trip I want to make when I secure the money for it. Danke!

The thing about Europe is it's a continent. You can't just see it in a couple of weeks trip. You'd probably need a week at least per country to get a real impression of it. Everywhere is very different, and there's been stuff going on for thousands of years, so lots of history. I know a lot of people say they want to go 'to Europe' but the best you can hope for without spending ages and loads of money is to pick a few countries and explore them properly. That way you'll also get a better impression of them, too.
Vlaer said a lot. Each country is pretty different to each other. If you do go to Germany, you should go to Berlin and see the wall, and I'd recommend pretty German towns and the Christmas markets (not that I've been) and perhaps even a concentration camp, since while depressing I know some people who've been and they say it's a really good experience. France is pretty. Romania in the winter looks like Skyrim if you're near mountains/hills with forests and stuff. Norway is even more like a winter wonderland during the winter, and you can see the aurora! Denmark is nice, and in Italy there's also Venice, plus Greece is cool, Russia is great and Turkey is warm and has a more Islamic history than most of the rest of Europe. But if you were to go on one trip, I'd recommend going in winter and seeing Germany, Norway, Romania, etc. because PRETTY. You might prefer sunny weather, though, and I'm far from an expert.

Thanks Quetzal ^^. I've always loved Europe's diversity, and I've always wanted to visit it in winter like you were saying...skiing's just about my favorite pastime, and the Alps are calling my name right now . I also wanted to see Slovakia and the Czech Republic, since that's where my mom's family's from. By the way, I read about this really strange camp for adults they have in Poland in a magazine somewhere. You basically pay money to become a POW from World War II in an abandoned concentration camp. I wouldn't ever do that of course, but I suppose it's only right to at least visit one.
