Hair: His hair is dark brown like the bark of a pine and like the pine's needles, it is short and fairly spiky.
Height: Approx. 6’ 3" though he has never been actually measured.
Weight: Despite his height, Reimer only weighs about 170 lbs.
Magic user: Reimer can use small amounts of magic but was never really taught the full use of it.
Prefered weapon(s): He uses a broad-bladed raipier. It looks much like a regular rapier but the blade is wider and stronger than most. He is also skilled with bow or knife.
Appearance Reimer is, like all elves, very handsome, but he is more comely than many of the elves. As mentioned earlier, he has short, spiky hair and his eyes gleam beneath it. Reimer most often wears a suit of clothes he designed and put together for himself. This suit is made from the bark of trees though it was prepared like leather and strengthened to avoid rips and tears. Reimer wanted leather but didn't want to kill a living creature for it. He wears a shirt and pants of this material as well as a doublet. He also wears strong boots.
His sword is almost always by his side and he usually carries his knife in one of his boots and his bow slung across his back. He also carries a bark bag on his back which holds his water, food, and various healing herbs.
Personality: Cheerful and kind, Reimer stays happy and does his best to help others. He has a strong supply of common sense and is one of the most steady elves you could find.
In crowds Reimer tends to stay quiet, thinking rather than speaking. He has lived most of his life in contact with only one or two people at a time and doesn't care to speak much when there are many others around.
This doesn't stop him from helping the underdog though. Reimer is always one of the first to stand up to a bully to help others. If there is someone that almost no one else will talk to, Reimer will try to include them in conversation. Overall, he is just a kindhearted elf.

History: For most of his life, Reimer has lived in the forest away from most of the elven cities. He lived with an old man away from others until the old man died when Reimer was about seven years old. He had taught, Reimer, all that he could about the plants and nutritious vegetation which grew in the forest and Reimer used these skills to survive the next few years. It was during this time that he formed his bark clothing and began training himself with a sword he found in the cellar of the house. When he was nearly twelve, Reimer wandered into one of the smaller elvish cities and met a sword master who agreed to train him and take him in as a son. They went, together, to a smith's sooty shop where Reimer found the sword he still carries. He stayed with the elf for approximately five years until Reimer had learned all the swordmaster could teach him. He then left Du Weldenvarden and journied toward Surda but was not very knowledgeable about the land and ended up in the heart of the empire. He managed to escape though and finally found the Varden. He stayed with them and made himself useful for awhile until he was given the position of a scout. He was suddenly wandering about in the empire, trying to discover anything he could about Galbatorix. Here he will stay for awhile.
