((Stubborn girl ain't she? Bloody hell.))
Camarat sighed as Skailah attempted to hide in the water. Perhaps it was because she didn't know already that Camarat was already adapted to living in the water seeing as his old home was a lake. He turned to his dragon form and entered the water, the lake barely containing his massive form. He looked at Skailah and as gently as he could with his massive paws, he shoved her to the surface gently but with enough force to get her out of the water. As she submerged, he walked out of the water and turned to a human again. He crossed his arms in front of his chest and glared at her."Skailah, as much as you may hate the prospect of using a weapon, there will be many times you will resort to it as your last option. So bear with me now just for the duration of this training. After that you will never ever have to use a weapon unless in dire need." he attempted to negotiate with her, his voice soft.
Camarat took the sword from the ground and handed it back to her. He once again took his stance and beckoned for her to start again. He hoped she would not prove too much like her sister and be a rebel. It would be a hassle to train her, but yet he had promised. And a promise was a promise. He would never back down now that he started. He eyed her, surprised how much she reminded him of Nafia. He could only imagine Nafia's expression if she would have seen what he was trying to teach her twin sister. He could also imagine a less pleasing picture. The long lecture he'd have to endure from her telling him that violence should not be used. Perhaps the reason why he had told Kialandi to be cautious with violence was because of Nafia. He laughed at that thought.
Laetri's eyes grew wide and he stood up, clutching Zander's shoulders."Yes indeed Brenton's dragon was golden. And yes of course he held himself with a regal and proud stance. He wore the true elven crown.. and his sword was found after the battle near the battlefield. I retrieved his sword. I have kept it in a chest in my private chambers protected with many spells and traps..." he said all very quickly. He thought for a moment or two and then asked what he knew he had to ask."Where was he Zander? How close was he to the city?" he demanded quickly. Laetri had gone wild as a little root sprouted in his chest. The little seed that there was hope that Brenton had survived quickly began expanding and Laetri was practically bouncing with excitement.
((Sorry for the short post on Laetri.))

Zander grimaced as he sat there and gathered his thoughts some more about where the man had been when he had last seen him. It had not been a good sight but Zander had seen the man casting spells to protect them and he had known the man was strong from how he had survived without a weapon for what seemed so long. Finally he looked at Laetri with regret in his eyes and sorrow in his voice he spoke. "Brenton was just outside of a small town named Naelrathe when he was ambushed by some men. They looked to be Empire but he had no weapon and so I started to stop. Then I saw the way he was casting magic and the dragon was getting ready to breathe fire. There are three places he could be since this was only a day ago. He could be just a few miles from Ellesmera, in Uru baen facing the king, or in Naelrathe dealing with some problems." Zander hoped that the king would understand he had wanted to help but that he didn't want to endanger the man even more.
Kialandi sprang from branch to branch as he circled the tree and started to swing upward until he was about to the top. The last few branches were more spread out and Kialandi was growing more tired as he ran up the tree in a sense. So it was no surprise when suddenly his foot slipped and the man fell, nearly making it half way down before he changed to a dragon and slowed his descent enough to land and turn back to a human right next to Camarat who was dealing with a dragon form of Skailah. He smirked and walked over to Camarat as quietly as possible even though his fall had made a lot of noise. She hates fighting and swords or any weapon other than knives that she carries. I believe she also has two short swords but those four blades are only for emergencies. You will have better luck drawing blood from a rock than you will getting her to duel you in any manner.
Skailah stayed as a dragon and waited patiently, watching the man until she heard Kialandi falling. Without looking away she knew he landed next to Camarat and so she waited until her "mentor" was distracted to make her next move. Instantly the blue wings unfurled and Skailah shot ice crystals at Camarat that would freeze anything they touched. Like hell she would be caught again by this crazy man. The girl took off into the air and spun until she was facing the way to a cave that was about a minute flight away. Within that minute she had arrived and hidden the cave with magic so that maybe he wouldn't find her for the time being.

((Gonna exclude Laetri and Zander now. Maybe in another thread they could go search for Brenton maybe. Dunno)
Camarat's eyes narrowed dangerously as he glared at the form of the dragon and the icicles that dropped onto him. Did she just honest to god attempt to kill him? He wondered if she even knew who he actually was. Camarat was stuck. He could either let the icicles hit him and deal with the damage done to him later or he could deflect it. Yet if he deflected a few things could happen. a) It could hit the trees, causing them harm or b) Hit the lake causing it to freeze or c) Hit Kialandi. Camarat was also confused at Skailah's behavior. Why was she being so aggressive? It wasn't like he was forcing her to use a sword in every single time she met somebody. No, he was just teaching her self-defense.
Finally, Camarat decided to take the crystals head on in a way. He whispered a few words in the Ancient Language then gulped in a lot of air and released it out as fire. The fire wouldn't reach far but it's heat was very intense. The crystals instantly melted and the water from it evaporated. As soon as Camarat was sure that the crystals were out of the way he stopped the magic. He looked at Kialandi with a contorted face filled with anger, confusion, and annoyance."Kialandi I told you I'd help her train with a sword. But seeing as she won't agree to it, I'll teach her self-defense with magic. Now, be right back." he told Kialandi as he turned to a dragon and took off after Skailah.
Thankfully, Camarat had managed to accelerate in a fast rate as to keep Skailah in sight. By the time he reached the cave she had attempted to hide, he turned to a human in mid flight as he angled down to the cave. He fell inside, scraping his arms and legs badly on the hard stone of the cave and stood up, blocking her one way out."Listen Skailah, if you absolutely refuse to let me teach you how to defend yourself with a sword, then so be it. In the end you'll be affected, not me. But in the meantime I can teach you how to defend yourself very effectively with magic. So come back and I will teach you many long and lost spells and other spells that are still found today but you wouldn't know them. Come on back, and don't try to kill me again. I'm your teacher and friend, not your enemy." he told her gently though roughly. Then he left the cave and turned into a dragon form towards the lake. If she followed him to the lake and would allow him to teach her, then he would help as much as he can. If not then that'll be her downfall, not his, and he wouldn't mind all too much. He shook his head as he reached the ground and waited for her to land... or not at all.

Skailah watched in anger as the man landed in the cave and she ended the spell that had been ineffectual. This guy would have to be taught a lesson sooner or later and so she turned into a dragon and took off into the air, flying straight toward the lake. Instantly she could see that Camarat was waiting for her and Kialandi was grinning at the sight of her being so defiant. Skai landed and turned into an elf as she drew both short swords and glared at Camarat in anger and pure determination. "You challenged me by not only trying to make me learn with a sword but by also blocking all of my attempts to get away from that. Old man, it is time I showed you what an elf, even untrained, can do with two blades." Experimentally she spun the two blades and grew comforted at the feeling of weapons that she knew and then lunged, using magic to dull the blades instantly, at Camarat.
Kialandi watched and waited because he knew that not a soul in the world could anger Skailah and get away with it and that as exactly what Camarat was doing. When he landed again, Kialandi cleared his throat. Draw your weapon and dull the blade. You angered her and that is never a good thing to do. Kialandi stepped back and began to stretch as he sat down on a tree root and crossed his legs. He closed his eyes and placed his hands on his thighs palm upward with the index and thumb touching. It was a calming position and soon the man had gotten to where his mind was out but defended and he could keep track of all that was going on. It was difficult to concentrate but he had been meditating for years trying to avoid killing people when they angered him and it had taken a bunch of self control.

Camarat smiled as he saw Skai land. What he didn't smile at and caused his smile to falter was when she called him and old man. He didn't even listen to the sound of metal on leather as she unsheathed the two blades, his mind going back to the 'old man' comment."Old man? Old man?!?! Skailah, I have put up with you enough. I offered to teach you and yet you continue to insult me and attempt to kill me. If you want to do so, then be my guest. But do not come back to me and ask for my advice or help. Skailah your sister and I were great friends and so it saddens me to have our relation end up badly but if this is how you will act, if this is the respect you show, then I will have none of it. I thought you were like Nafia.." he shook his head and continued,"I was wrong. You are nothing like her. Nafia was respectful, kind, and although she hated violence she would train with us our self-defense techniques. And also young missy, an elf without any training still cannot do much. You are arrogant, self-centered, and a spoiled young brat." he literally spat.
As she lunged at him, his position went from relaxed and giving a lecture to furious. He turned to her angrily, unsheathing his weapon and dulling it in one motion and easily parried her strikes. Then he went on the offensive, jabbing quickly in a feint towards her right then left side and followed up with a heavy strike that would be hard to catch on her small blades toward her right shoulder. However he made sure that if he were to feel no resistance between his blade and it's path towards her shoulder he would stop it in time as to make sure she would not take any damage or be wounded. Then after that quick stroke, he took a quick side-step to the left and fell to his knees in a crouch and swiped at her legs, attempting to take her legs out from under her. Then he stood up and watched to see the result of what happened to her in the storm of dust he had awoken. He raised his voice as to be heard by Kialandi and said,"Kialandi, I didn't sign up to train a student who didn't want to learn and wanted to kill me. I'm too old for this." his voice joking but also rather annoyed.

Skailah faltered as she heard what Camarat said about her being nothing like her sister and immediately she jumped backward before sitting down just out of reach of the sword that the man held. Her own swords were at her sides and she put her head in her hands while tears fell because she remembered nothing about her family but vague glimpses of some conversation or a meal eaten. Yet if someone said she was nothing like her sister then it hurt because she wanted to be like someone that had been able to be strong. The girl sat there confused and sad as she tried to piece it together. Just then strong arms wrapped around her and picked her up off the ground while her swords were picked up and stuck through a belt. Skailah looked up and saw Kialandi holding her close and immediately she wrapped her arms around him and cried some more.
Sometimes saying things like that is not he right thing to do nor is it very respectful to tell a girl who can't remember her family that she is nothing like them. Camarat I respect you deeply but why do you anger her and then insult her like salt added to a wound? Yes she needs to learn to wield a sword but some people do not like weapons and would rather be diplomatic and from what I can tell, young Skailah is like that.
Kialandi comforted Skai while he looked at Camarat with a defiant look and expected to at least get some sort of response even if it was not one of regret or sorrow. He had been sitting there listening and feeling the feelings that Skailah felt so when she faltered he knew something was wrong. That was when he had walked over to her and picked her up because she needed someone to be nice to her. He smiled at her and the way she sniffled while trying to act somewhat strong and brave. For a girl who knew nothing about fighting, he had just seen potential in her but anger was not the way to go.

Camarat shook his head. Kialandi was spoiling this girl. If she wished to escalate in life, it would not be through must kindness and gentleness, but nor would it be through harsh and strictness. It would be a balance between the two. He knew he was in a way wrong, Skailah was like her sister in many ways but at the same time not in many other ways. He whispered a sentence in the Ancient Language and a few words engraved in the dirt in front of them,"First off, the reason why I said what I did was because I was threatened to near death, I was shown very disrespect especially when the words had come from a much younger miss. I was wrong however, anger clouded my judgement ; Skailah you are in many ways like your sister and in other ways different. Perhaps you are different for the better good, but whatever I said, don't take it to heart. I was wrong to say them, anger clouded my judgement. But also you said many disrespectful words and were rude and tried to murder me in case you remember. Or harm, however you would put it."
Then before Camarat took off, he turned to them hesitantly and said,"If you wish to resume your training then we will continue tomorrow, but with magic rather than weapons. In case you do not already know where I will be, then go ahead and feel free to ask around. Perhaps Anurin would know, or his dragon Vanilor, we keep in touch a lot. If you do not wish to resume training.." he took a deep breath before continuing,"If you do not want to resume training then do not seek me out and I will know so. For now.. or forever, depending on how you feel, goodbye Kialandi, Skailah." and with that haven been said, he turned to a dragon and took off, to a far away tree. The same tree he had resided in with Anurin and Vanilor. He turned to a human and walked inside before laying on his bed and sighing. He felt sorry and regret for saying what he did, but what was done was done. He hoped Skailah wouldn't let this get between them nor Kialandi and that they would return tomorrow in the morning. Either way he will guide them as best as he can. As those thoughts twirled in his mind, his eyes fell asleep and dreams found him as sleep came over him.
((I'm thinking time skip to next morning?))

The next morning found Kialandi laying on the ground with a tired and scared Skailah curled up in his arms shivering slightly as the sun warmed them both up. Last night the girl had explained that she had been scared when she saw the blade because it made her think of killing and she did not like that. It was when Camarat had tried to chase her that she had grown angry and so now she knew that she had spoken ill of him and she regretted it but she had not known entirely what she was doing until he mentioned her sister. Now the sun was finding them and they woke up and stretched as Kialandi stood up and pulled Skailah up with him. She looked around and the man smiled as he thought about where to go. There is a tree just a ways away that Vanilor and Anurin used to stay in. I don't know if they still do but it is large enough that it might old the older man. Let's go find out. With that he turned into a dragon and took to the sky while Skailah followed him. Soon they came to the tree and the two landed but then Kialandi realized their mistake. Skailah, hold on, Camarat and I have to discuss something real quick. With that he walked inside.
