Full Name: Auduriel
Race: Elf
Side: Varden
Birthplace: Urû‘baen
Age: 93
Gender: Female
Birthday: December 16th
Eyes:
Emerald green
Hair:
Black with silver strands. It goes a half-foot beyond her shoulder.
Weight:
About 164 lb.
Height:
6'5"
Magic User:
Yes. She's been well-trained in most types of magic, including dark magic, although she never uses it anymore. She usually prefers to use magic in order to enhance her attacks, such as setting her arrows aflame.
Preferred Weapon(s):
•A white rider's sword called Ithíníl. An opal in its pommel stores excess energy from its previous owners and Auduriel herself.
•A simple wooden bow that Auduriel sung into existence. She doesn't use this nearly as often as Ithíníl.
•Her mind. Auduriel is well-trained in using her mind against others.
Appearance:
Like many elves, Auduriel is humanoid, but she has clearly visible exotic features. Her eyes are emerald green, with almost feline pupils. Her hair is black for the most part, with individual silver strands mixed in. Typically, she wears leather armor. It has pale fur lining the outside, keeping her warm and providing some amount of protection at the same time. It was made from elk slain by the predators of Du Weldenvarden, after the pelts were cleaned. She wears a white and red robe most of the time that she is not wearing her armor. Her sword is always located at her side or in her hand.
Personality:
Auduriel is a loner. She doesn't seem to like other people, after being raised around so few people and those who were closest to her dying. She appears to be perhaps even hostile, usually reacting coldly to most others who bother her. She's quite defensive when people question her, whether it be about a particular scene for a fairth or her allegiances. She acts this way not because she actually doesn't like people, but because she's afraid of what they really think of her. She prefers to not put herself in a position for them to be able to accurately judge her.

Family:
Orelia- Mother, Elf Rider, Servant of Galbatorix (Forsworn)
Eduniel- Father, Elf, Servant of Galbatorix
History:
Orelia, one of the thirteen Forsworn, had been involved with another elf, Eduniel, before she betrayed the Riders. He wasn't a Rider himself, but he was a master of swordfighting, and helped train new Riders in the art when their elders could not. During one battle, Eduniel betrayed the Riders and went to join Galbatorix and his love. Orelia became pregnant with their daughter early during the Fall. She was named Auduriel, and Orelia began preparing her to be the Rider of one of Galbatorix's three eggs. To protect her daughter from others of the Forsworn, only her mother, her mother's servants, her father, and -on one occasion- Galbatorix himself saw the elf child.
At a young age, an Empire mage under Orelia began tutoring Auduriel in magic. Orelia, busy with hunting down Eldunarí and any remaining dragons (and later, Forsworn power struggles) rarely took part in her daughter's training. Eduniel began training Auduriel in swordfighting. Her father also tutored her in using bows, although he was very, very far from being a master, and she mainly taught herself.
Orelia turned around, taking a sword off of the rack and passing it to her daughter. It was pure white, flawless. Its pommel had an opal in it. "Ithíníl," The elf said. "A Rider's sword. I took it from his corpse. It is only fitting that you possess it. You'll be a Rider someday, Auduriel, and this will be your weapon."
The blade that Auduriel was taught with was Ithíníl. Her mother had taken it from a Rider that she'd slain in the beginning of the Fall of the Riders. This Auduriel's most prized possession, and she always kept this with her.
As Orelia and her dragon began to descend far into madness, Auduriel began to question the Empire. Why had they slaughtered all of the dragons? Her father was clearly upset and concerned by Orelia's increasingly irrational behavior. One day, Orelia beheaded Eduniel and fed his remains to her dragon. Horrified, Auduriel went to her room. The next day, her mother beat Auduriel and locked her in her room. She decided to run away, and find the Varden. She was convinced by her mother's behavior that the Empire wasn't good.
Auduriel muttered under her breath as she failed to pick the lock. The elf stood up, her hand glowing with yellow magic. "Jierda!" She said, with force behind her voice, although she hoped her words were quiet enough. The door instantly began to break apart. Auduriel felt her energy dispersing as the spell was preformed. Magic was never exactly her favorite method of doing things. Her injuries weren't helping, either.
Auduriel crept through the halls, glancing into the rooms. A glow caught her eye. Ithíníl was upon a table, its blade glinting in the moonlight. Beside it was the sheathe. Grabbing both, the elf armored herself and tiptoed down to the lowest floor. She didn't want to wake Orelia or her dragon. Opening up the front door, Auduriel did her best to avoid the guards outside. She drew upon Ithíníl's energy, whispering a spell to muffle her steps and make it easy for eyes to skip over her. The elf moved towards the stables.
The guard was right in front of the door. His eyes flickered right over her, and he clearly saw something. She wasn't invisible. Suddenly even more scared, Auduriel leapt forward, her sword piercing him in the chest. She stood still for a moment, looking down at his corpse. She'd never killed anybody before. But now wasn't the time to worry about it. The elf slipped into the stable, putting a bridle onto a chestnut stallion. She strapped the saddle onto his back and hopped onto it. Shw led him out as he whinnied loudly, likely alerting a few guards. Auduriel steered him into a forest, and he galloped north.
Auduriel stole a horse and went north to Du Weldenvarden. Before she arrived, Orelia had died. She was reluctantly permitted into Ellesmera, and sang a tree into a home. She used the singing that the other elves had taught her in order to change her features, wishing to not look like Orelia or Eduniel. She practiced making fairths, something that interested her, although she'd never learned it in her childhood. She later joined the Varden, although retired back to Ellesmera for some time after Dras-Leona's capture.
