Hello and welcome! As I don't doubt you've already deduced from the side profile thingy, I'm Quetzal. I hope you stick around and look forward to RPing with you in the future. If you have any questions at all about the site, just fire away. There's no question too stupid or obvious! I know there's a lot going on plot-wise and it can get pretty confusing even for those of us who've been here for ages, let alone new faces like yourself.
We started our plotline around the start of Brisingr, I believe, and went our own way from there. We've deterred from the book plots a good deal, with Eragon and Saphira being captured by witches and putting them out of action for 6 months (ie they weren't anyone's character at the time so we found an excuse for their absence). The Rider Branches were introduced last year, based on the elements of Air, Water, Fire, Earth, and Psychic, depending on the colour of a Rider's dragon. We spent a while on all the little side plots, but now are focusing back on the Varden attacking the Empire as they prepare for the final attack on Uru'baen. After that, we will be abandoning the series' plotline completely because most of us think it was pretty silly.
