Personality: The hybrids tend to stay alone. If given the opportunity they will become social. They all do not like elves
Strengths:They can have any power a dragon possesses, they heal faster than any human and are faster and stronger than any human
Weaknesses:If they overuse or misuse their power they become fatigued. In extreme cases they will pass out or even die. They will temporarily use their powers if they become weak enough.
History: the hybrids are a magically combined species of humans and dragons created by the elves. The first and only hybrid was created by a lovely elf at a time of peace. The name of the elf is unknown but it is know he was a expert healer and scholar. The elf was experimenting with combining species with small animals and plants for a long time before he tried a larger life form. His healing magic enabled him to 'heal' or combined the The experiments could turnout out beautiful or horrible. The factor that determined this was the elfs mood. If he was feeling positive emotions the outcome was just that, positive. But even the slightest negative feeling would mutate the creature he was creating. He created many small creatures with both outcomes. There is only one hybrid known in existence but other could have been made.

Excellent, thank you! Just a couple of quick questions. Is their magic like dragons in that they don't have a lot of control over it, it's pretty random stuff that happens fairly rarely, but is powerful when it is used? In the weaknesses, you didn't finish the sentence either. If they overuse of misuse their power they become what?

Oops sorry I'm doing this all on mobile, I'll fix it. Also tge powers they could come out with is kinda like a grab bag type thing. The powers are completely random and there is no guarantee that they will last. The one power that they have is tge telepathic abibities. They (or at least Faith) can read, talk into and partially control minds. All of their minds are undetectable. Their minds are one if the harder ones to break into

OK. I think I get it, each of them has one of any number of powers, and it may change over time. I'll go and start a discussion about this with the staff now, you should hear back from us any time between later today and in a few days' time.

Staff are discussing this but I have a bit of an issue with the telepathy. With all of the uber strong races it seems unreasonable for mind reading, mind control, impenetrable, and undetectable. Just saying that if a Branch Guardian, Fallen Angel, Nether Shade, or Dragon Spirit came to her then that wouldn't be possible.

That's fine. With her I would think only the really powerful power classes would be able to resist/ penetrate her mind. Lower power classes such as shades and dragon riders wouldn't be able to do those things.

Shades and dragon Riders have some of the most powerful mental abilities... I'd say it was fine for her to have advanced mental abilities but not too advanced. Her mind would be impenetrable to non-magic users and people with normal strengths of magic, while Riders, shades, dragon spirits and fallen angels would be able to break through with difficulty provided they had the skill. More advanced mental abilities like dragons and the Guardians would have less difficulty but would still find it hard. Being undetectable is fine, in my opinion. Mind reading is what a lot of people can do anyway by breaking into someone else's mind, so she could do that but meet resistance from those experienced in guarding their minds, finding it easier than most to break the resistance but still having it there.
Mind control is too OP. It wouldn't be fun for another member to RP with someone who could completely control their character, after all! Plus with that kind of ability she could easily walk through Uru'baen, make the guards lead her safely to Galbatorix, then mind control him into granting her absolute control over Alagaesia just like that. We can't allow that, so you could scale it down. Perhaps merely suggestion - the ability to put thoughts/ideas into other people's heads. Whether they take up the thoughts would depend on how strong their defences are, and if they did whether they took action would depend on how extreme the thought was. So, if it was something small like making them think they're hungry or persuading merchants to get a good bargain, she'd be fine, but if it was something the other person really wouldn't do, like kill themselves, disobey orders (depending on how obedient the person is), or betray someone, they would be surprised the thought came into their head and wouldn't do it.

That sounds good! I didn't want to God mode but I didn't know how to scale it down. So I will edit the form

OK, the staff have decided that this race is accepted with these changes. We'll make sure any powers they have aren't too OP, including those they develop after they lose their existing power. In addition, since you've been so cooperative and good about having to spend a while changing things and sorting this all out, we've decided you don't need to apply for your power class slot, you can just polish up your application straight away. That's because again we'd hate to make you wait even longer and we think seeing as you created the race you'd know how to RP them
