Preferred Weapon(s): Her small hidden dagger and her powers. {she has a bow for hunting but that is only a last resort to use in a fight}

Appearance: Faith is pretty but not gorgeous. She has shoulder length platinum blonde hair, pale skin, blue grey eyes and two fourteen feet  dragon wings. Faith has a petite body figure, even though she is strong she does not have much muscle mass. Faiths wings are the color of her eyes and are between her shoulder blades. Her wings fold three times into her back so they can be covered and out of sight. Faith tends to wear regular pants and a lose shirt to cover her wings. She usually has her hair tied up but she will let it down on special occasions

Personality: Faith is more if a loner due to the fact she is not human and the affect of her powers. Her kind spirit and her ability to read minds causes her to help others if it is within her abilities. She almost never has interaction with other people and will almost always stay hidden.

History: Faith was created during the peaceful time of dragons, riders and humans. A lonely elf was experimenting with combing two species magically and she was created. Once created the elf kept Faith as a pet rather than a daughter. The elf did not care about the potential loss of human or dragon life when creating Faith even though he knew it was wrong. Because of this Faith was hidden from the other elves. She lived for many years with this elf until she was old enough to fend for herself. Her creator did not like her growing independence so he wiped her memories and abandons her in the forest of Du Welvarden. 


Anything extra: Faiths mind is undetectable it is as if there is no mind at all. Because you can find her mind it's nearly impossible to enter it. The people of her race can find each others minds but she is the only one currently. Because her creator was an ancient elf the Ancient Language is her native tongue.  Her mental abilities make it easy for her to learn new languages.

I understand that my OC may seem unfair but I greatly restrict her powers by making them drain a lot of energy. I don't want to God mode or be a Mary Sue I just want to RP （＾◇＾）

Okay, yes I had a character similar to this but he was a full elf turned draconian by a stray spell. We have dragon spirits that can go between dragon and human but they are powerclass. Honestly, as is, I say no because draconians aren't approved yet.

Yeah I put a lot if thought into my character and it would be a shame for her to go to wast. I love the maximum ride series and that is where I got my inspiration from

EDIT: Thinking about it, she sounds pretty much exactly like a Fallen Angel, except her wings are dragon instead of bird. They are a power class, so you'd have to apply for one of the power class slots before this can be accepted (it's just something we have to limit the amount of really powerful characters)

It'd be good to have a Fallen Angel that was all about helping people. After all Tashiel is more reclusive and Reshiel is a merc through and through.

I could make her a fallen angel but I feel like that would alter her personality. I'm going to try to create a new race but I don't really know how...

I also just realized my form has a lit of spelling errors. I made that on mobile so it was hard. Once I get on tge computer I'll fix them

Don't send an application for a new species in a PM, I'm pretty certain all previous ones have been posted in this board before. As Brenton said, making her a Fallen Angel wouldn't alter her personality in the slightest, it would only be her history that would need changing.

Sorry to double post, but a note relating to your history. No one would have experimented with DNA because no one has a clue what DNA is, they don't even know what molecules are or how living things work at all. Alagaesia is a medieval-esque place, so their science is very very limited. Elves help a bit, but I'd still say it was about the level we knew in the 16th or 17th centuries, bearing in mind there that we didn't know about DNA until the early-mid 20th century. DNA is way too modern a concept for this site's setting, but of course there are other ways to achieve what you want. Magic, and it might give her more draconic features than just convenient wings, too.

I didn't know how else to put it but it's more messing around with magic than DNA. I guess I could go without the wings but I really like that idea XP. Sorry to be picky I'm just really protective (I guess you'd call it that) about my characters. As for he history I think that changing would change her personality to be more trusting and naive. Do I full out tge form for Faith or tge new race in tge playable races

That's absolutely fine, we get how much people care about their characters! You can keep the wings, of course, I was suggesting that the magic may have had a few neutral side effects, like patterns/patches of scales or spikes or sharp teeth or something to make her more obviously part-dragon. Since you're going to make a new playable race, fill out the normal character form except as though you were describing the entire race, that's what people have done when applying to make a new playable race in the past. Age would be average lifespan, birthday could be replaced by how long it's been since the race began, etc, and you can leave out preferred weapon, likes, dislikes and family if you want. You'll have to give a full description of the race, include information on how they vary, so for example under eyes and hair it would probably just be any colour humans can have. Post it in this board with all the pending characters. Be aware that when you're done, it'll take a little while to get a decision, since a new race has to be approved by all staff members (we discuss it in the staff board, which is hidden). So long as the race isn't too overpowered, there's no reason for it to be rejected, we're fairly open to new ideas! We may ask a few questions, but that'll just be us being unsure about something, not necessarily not liking something.

We'll leave this app for Faith here for the time being. Once the race has been accepted, we'll give you a chance to maybe tweak this to include the name of the race and whatever other minor things that might need changing, then will review it again. Explain how Faith because the first member of the race, then. Describe in more detail how she came to be, why the magician did it and what they hoped to achieve, why Faith was chosen to be the one changed, it's a significant event so there should be a lot to write about if you look hard enough. How was such a complicated spell invented, where did all that energy come from? Was the result as expected? If you're really stuck, you could always give some background information and then write the actual changing in character from the POV of the magician, as a suggestion. I don't expect anything more than just a paragraph really, so don't worry if you can't think of any more information to include than enough to fill a paragraph.
