What's this Karma and Money thing for? And Exalt and Smite? Is Exalt and Smite a warning system?

Karma just comes along with Proboards v4, its nothing really. Exalt gives you more karma, smite gives you less. And the money thing is used in game for such things as paying for transporation, bribes etc etc.

Karma's just some feature that comes with proboards. *shrugs* I really don't know what it is, it's just for fun I suppose.
