Faith had been staying in Urubaen for quite a wile now with nothing eventful happening. Traveling to the city she had planed to make a way for herself and help out as much as possible. Her venture had been successful and she currently lived at a tavern, renting out a small room. She payed by working around the city, mostly manual labor. Many did not like the fact that she was female but she could... convince them and she was more than qualified. Spare time was spent helping those who needed it, weather it was a poor family who needed more food or warding of hecklers from lone women, she tried to help. Now she wandered the city looking for things to do. She spotted a young boy beaming as he walked along. Looks like someone has the same same mentality as me she though smiling. She didn't know who the old man who helped out but walking around the city she soon found out. She looked around warily now knowing that there were important people around. She now knew of the plan for a new council and decided to check in out for herself.
Faith had gone back to her room and cleaned herself up. Not owning and dresses, she now wore a fancier pair of her shirts and trousers. For one she didn't wear a cape or look filthy. Now that the dirt was gone from her face you could see scales around her eyes and not wearing a cape clearly showed her wings. Faith felt awkward and open without her cape but she knew that disguises would only damage her appearance to the council. She walked from the tavern ignoring peoples stares. Instead she focused on finding her way to the group. As she neared Faith stopped reaching out with her mind, not wanting to intrude. Lastly she dropped her mental defenses assuming they would only make her look suspicious. Once there she stood off to the side content to listen. She spotted a few people who she knew and many she knew of.
((Sorry for the awkward phrasing ^^'))

((I don't see any awkward phrasing, you're fine Faith!))
Eragon and Saphira were pleased by Camarat, Silas and Arathale's offers to help. "Thank you. Every person helping counts, and anyone like you with skills beyond manual labour are valuable." He told them. "And I know what it must be for a dragon spirit, wizard and ranger to help a human city when they have no obligation to," he added to show he appreciated not many from their community would bother to help human dwellings.
"It's not really a human city any more, mind you. The Varden was made of all races, and now they are all working together to restore not only this city but other places damaged by the Empire. Non-humans have just as much a right to stay here as humans do. Now that the war forced us all to work together, I have a feeling the different races won't part so easily. Such diversity and such different people all living together is at least one good thing to come out of the dark times." Saphira felt strongly that it was wrong to think of Alagaesia as the humans' land. Maybe it had been once. Now elves, dwarves, werecats, spartans, rangers, urgals and more had all worked as one to rid it of evil and it was wrong to deny it to the very people who fought to defend it. Friendships had been forged between individuals besides that were not easily broken.
Eragon turned to Silas. "Don't worry if you're not so good at building, there's plenty of work to be done. Most of the soldiers returned to their families or brought them here, but even the ones who've gone home are helping by providing resources to all over. They just need to get back into the swing of things to recover from farms that were burned or mines that were collapsed," he said. There's be something for everyone to do, including Silas, from guard duty to relaying people's problems that needed fixing to scouting anything useful.
Saphira noticed a young woman away to one side who had been watching them for a little while. She turned to look at her, tilting her head to one side in thought. She pointed the stranger out to Eragon, who gave her a little wave to let her know she was welcome. Such a strange appearance, it took him by surprise. He'd never seen anyone like that before. "Hello there, my name is Saphira. No need to be shy, come say hello if you wish. I must say I've never seen anyone like you before, and we've seen quite a lot. How did you come by those wings?" She was curious. The stranger could be one of those elves who experimented too much with their appearance, or perhaps some other enchantment was on her, or again still she might be something new entirely.

With a lopsided smile, Camarat gave a curt polite gesture to Eragon. "It'd be my pleasure to help. After all, we're not your average Dragon Spirit or Wizard." he told Eragon. Something which was true, really. Especially considering most to all Dragon Spirits and Wizards wouldn't even be here. They'd probably still be in Vroengard idling away, bickering at one another.
Shaking his head sadly, he responded to Saphira, "As far as most Dragon Spirits or Wizards are concerned, it's still a human city. To our naive relatives Elves, Dwarves, Urgals, Humans, Shades, they're all considered as "humans" to them. Why? Because they consider humans people to look down on. Why they look down on Humans, Elves, Dwarves, or Urgals is because they're naive and believe themselves better than the rest. Stupid, aye, but that's that kind of stupid people they are. That's the same attitude that drove us to such low numbers." he explained.
Thanks to being a Wizard, Camarat's year hardened mind noticed another person who was lingering nearby, as if stalking around. When the person came into view, he was not too astonished at the lady. She was quite beautiful, though the old man had long forgotten about such luxuries. The main thing that helped her stand out was the characteristics. Scales rimmed her eyes, along with wings protruding from her back. Over his plenty of years, Camarat had seen weirder. Quite an accomplishment if he said so himself.
Hearing Saphira asking the woman, Camarat commented, "Most probably than not an Elf or some other magic race decided to try to make a hybrid between a dragon and anything else, really. Pardon me if I'm wrong, ma'am. Speaking of, would you mind if I asked your name?" his voice gentle as possible. Noticing Arathale's comment, he gave a mental chuckle and responded, "If it weren't for who we were and our role in our community, we'd probably have gotten ourselves executed."

Seeing Eragon wave Faith waved back slightly before walking over. She self consciously tucked her wings in but she caught herself and stopped. It was a habit she had adopted the first time she had interacted with humans, they had never taken kindly to her appearance. As she stood with the group she felt Saphiras mind and for once she didn't flinch away from the mental contact, it was welcome. She listened quietly as Saphira talked thinking hard about the answer. "Strong Elven magic is what caused my existence. I'm part human part dragon. I know I was created by an elf long ago and that they abandoned me as a child." she said shrugging. "I don't know the exact details. Nothing like the elf's name, or exactly how much dragon runs in my blood," Or why they left me she though the last part to herself bitterly. While she talked out loud she talked quietly unsure how to act around everyone. She was so sure of herself but in situations like this, where she talked about her past, she became awkward and scared like the teenager that she really was. At Camarat's comment she realized that she hadn't introduced herself. "My name is Faith, though I don't personally know you I've heard lots about you. " She smiled knowing well who they were, everyone did.
