I figured there would be some people interested in sharing thier thoughts on the Olympic games being held in Torino. (also, after a particularly silly convo about Skeleton with aileen...) Pissed that your fav. athlete got Silver? Saw a wicked crash on the slopes? Come here and post about anything pertaining to the games!

lol I just thought of something...I wonder if the person running with the torch ever caught on fire...like their arm or something. I mean since its on TV they could easily edit it out and reshoot lol

I doubt that that's ever happened, but I suppose it's a possibility. I'm just kind of mad cause I don't have a TV to watch any of the olympics on, so I'm going to have to watch highlights on my computer everyday. Can't say I'm that big of a fan of the winter olympics, more of a summer person myself. Mostly because of the swimming. That's why I got into swimming in the first place cause I thought I could make it to the olympics someday.. little did I know how hard that is. But I digress.. my favorite part of the winter olympics is speed skating, long and short course. That's something else that I would like to take up, but I'm getting a little bit too old for that now. Anywho, that's my two cents on the subject for now.

yes. the speed skatin gis awesome. so is the figure skating.
that sucks. a lot. >.<
i wonder what they'll do at teh opening?
true. they could. but that person would have burns and peopel would be kinda scared....

Ha, Im not so sure about the catching on fire thing. Good thing they never had Michael Jackson run around with it.
I dont get NBC channel 4 so good downstairs. I'll probably have to tape everything in my room. >_<

haha I dont think so...aisians are hott but...koreans iunno...the only korean I ever found hott was Heinz Ward from the Steelers and he was part black haha

Canada is the best, they do always win hockey, its amazing. Their team is especially awesome this year, can't wait to see it. I'm from Ontario by the way.

Do you see how bad our Canadian womens team beat Russia too? Man the're all getting annhilated, I bet after this there won't even be womens hockey in the olympics, there is noo competion what so ever.
