Clothing : Alanna dresses modestly when none of her relatives are around, because she idolizes the smith Rhunon, who also dresse modestly. When in the presence of her family, she dresses in deep green dresses cinched tightly at the waist.
Preferred Weapon(s) : Bow sung from a Rowan tree. Her arrows have swan feathers on them, so she has few.
Her sword is long and thin, decorated on the hilt with an image of a horse, but she uses it rarely.
Personality : Quiet and calculating, Alanna is very intelligent. As most elves are raised to be, she speaks rarely. Her anger is a terrible thing to invoke, as it could very well last for decades. As a reminder of the slight percentage of human in her blood, she tends to be a bit more compassionate than the rest of the elves when she knows someone well.
Likes/Dislikes : Alanna is deeply interested in smithing, but her family wishes her to go into gardening, a deep passion that both her father and mother shared.
She dislikes the attention she receives for being on of the youngest elves.
Family : Her father is Dathedr, a descendant of Berundal the half-elven. (For refrences to Berundal, look under the elvish traslations in back of Eldest...I made Dathedr, one of the members of Islanzadi's council, his ancestor.) Her mother, Vanadessë chose to become a dove when Alanna was five and join the birds in Du Weldenvarden. She has no siblings or other reltives except a very thin line of blood that connects her with all other elves.
Brief History : Alanna was born on September 4th under a full moon to Vanadessë the Fair and Dathedr the noble. For the first four years of her life, Alanna was fawned over by most of the other elven-folk because she was a child and the upmost treasure. When her mother transformed, Alanna was five and was overcome with deep resentment. This made all the other elves desert her, for fear of contracting the resentment. To this day, Alanna has not sung to any of the doves that live in Du Weldenvarden. When she turned 15, she discovered the smith Rhunon, who made the Rider's swords. She then started gradually discovering lost friends, but most of her time is now spent in the forge, learning Rhunon's craft. Her father is in Islanzadi's court, so is busy almost all the time and
when, on those rare times that he does happen to meet Alanna, he lavishes her with gifts.
Anything extra : For the last Blood-Oath celebration, Alanna forged a sword after the make of Rhunon's Rider swords, but destroyed it because she thought it would be breaking Rhunon's oath. She then made the gloves Rhunon presented in the ceremony, for fear if she attended the secret would be found out.
