Personality : Solembum is very secretive and cunning. He only speaks to those he deems worthy of his advice, such as dragons, Eragon, Angela, and those with strong hearts. His mysterious ways have been known to cause more confusion than the person who asked him a question had to begin with. His intelligence spans decades.
Likes/Dislikes : Solembum strongly dislikes trickery or any attempt to get the better of him. He also dislikes people who think too much of themselves.
He likes those with strong hearts, and as such he will only speak with them. Like Angela, he enjoys being where major events are happening.
Family : No family are known, but his closest human friend is Angela the Witch because her personality intrigues him. Maud, another werecat who lives with Queen Islanzadi, is his only other regular correspondent. He has also spoken with Selena, (Eragon's mother,) Eragon himself, and an unidentified beggar.
Brief History : Solembum was born to a house cat at midnight on the full moon, as all werecats are. His mother died during birth, and a few hours later young Solembum was found by Maud. She taught him the secrets of looking into someone's soul, and she taught him all other secrets known only to werecats. By this tutelage, he learned his true name.
After thirty years of this, he chanced upon a witch named Angela who was journeying to Ellesmera. He saw that she would come in contact with many great turning points in Alageasia's history, and thus decided to accompany her. To this day, he has lived with Angela and hasn't returned to Du Weldenvarden.
Anything extra : Solembum speaks only to those he deems worthy, so do not approach him with trivial means...he will hold a grudge.
