Eyes: Her voids are deep crimson, like the color of fresh blood against her pale skin, as is with most shades. Her pupils can be likened to a cat's; tiny black slits; gates into the dark realm of her mind. Her eyes are completely expressionless, betraying no emotion whatsoever.
Hair: Had she been a human, her silky, straight, long hair would have been considered quite attractive, but the scarlet hue sort of ruins it. She normally ties it back in an intricate bun, so it won't get in her face when she fights. When wet, the color deepens to the shade of dried blood.
Weight: She is very lightly built, but immensely strong, like most Shades. Vrath'ra only weighs about 110 pounds, but can easily best even the strongest human in a fight.
Height: Vrath'ra is of average height, about 5'5".
Magic User: Yes, she uses spirits of the dead to fuel her magic, like all of her kind.
Clothing: Black, black, and black. Tight-fitting and simple.

Though not even reaching two feet in length, her snake is lightning-fast, with a venomous bite that can kill a man in minutes.
Personality: Well, pretty much like all Shades. She's evil, cruel, and has a brilliant mind. She loves causing pain, panic, and mayhem, and has a fondness for torturing people.

Until she met a man in the woods, a sorcerer. She became fascinated with sorcery, and the man taught her everything he knew. Then one day, she tried summoning a spirit much too powerful. It consumed her, turning her hair and eyes red, her skin pale, and her heart black. Filled with unsatable bloodlust, she killed the wandering sorcerer, and went on to kill her family. After this, she set out to find the Empire, traveling from the Spine to Urû'baen itself. Toady she is mainly an assassin and murderer for the king, and enjoys her job immensly.
