This is actually a pretty good idea; I've been trying to keep active since I have too much free time as opposed to people who don't > > But because of that, no-one here is actually active enough to RP with me (or maybe I'm just seeking the wrong people?)
Anyway~ this would work if everyone pitched in to help, though sometimes ideas do go down in flames if people don't contribute enough...

Your first two ideas are fantastic. That would be the kind of thing that makes a site go above and beyond others, and keeps members flocking to it. Especially with Brisingr coming up- argetlamrpg could become THE pre-eminent RPG site if it had such a dynamic and changing storyline.
The downside is the time involved. Those 'top posters' would have to be on every day, and for signifigant amounts of time. Especially the movers and shakers who play pivotal roles- it's a huge investment. If you've got the manpower, go for it.

I think allot of people are like me: don't spend much time here if they are not doing anything (like rping). If we do this, everyone one will have something to do, and will most likely be more active, allowing this whole thing to grow

I know I'm a little behind on the curve seeing how I've just joined and all and i don't really know anybody. But i think revitalizing this forum would be a great idea because from what I've seen there are only a few choice people that are actually active on a regular basis. So i am all for the new way but I'm not saying what we have now is bad because compared to a lot of other Eragon site this would have to be one of the better ones... Well enough of my speech's *turns red and runs out the door*
