Full Name: Ehivano Eronas
Other name: None (yet)
Race:: human
Side: Neutral-good (He's good, just not allied with the varden)
Birthplace:Tierm
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Birthday: Midwinter
Eyes: Dark brown
Hair: Black, medium length, unkempt
Weight: around 130 lbs.
Height:6'1"
Magic User: no (the potential is there though)
Clothing: He wears a jet black tunic under a tattered black cloak that looks more like half a tattered cape with a hood from extended battle use. his slightly loose pants keep in tune with the dark theme, also usually being of a black coloring.
Preferred Weapon(s):
Personality: The main thing about Ehivano is that he never speaks. not many people know(or care) if he's mute or if he just has nothing to say, but regardless of this fact he still manages to voice his opinions quite clearly without the use of speech. He has a strong sense of justice, but is wary of letting people control him (being why he hasn't joined the varden already). when people talk to him he is almost sure to give them his attention, but if he becomes bored his gaze wanders, occasionally glancing back to see if the speaker is done. The downside to not speaking is no one never knows his name, and he winds up striking most people as almost enigmatic.
Likes/Dislikes: Ehivano has no true likes , but if there is one thing he dislikes, it's deep water. if he is on even the sturdiest boat in anything deeper than a random puddle, he visibly starts to shake and stays as close to the center of the ship(rowboat or whatever) as possible, for fear of falling in. This is a major weakness, as it also means he doesn't know how to swim.
Family: All Deceased (see history)
Brief History:
Ehivano grew up in Tierm: a rather clever child who learned quickly and effectively by mere observation. His father was the captain of a small but rather successful trading ship called The Glory,his wife frequently went with him on trading voyages, complaining that he couldn't take care of himself. During Ehivano's first ten years, his father and mother gone for months at a time, leaving Ehivano alone to explore various hobbies. By the time Ehivano was 15, he knew something about almost everything, and was quite an astute scholar, he received many fine gifts to mark his last year before his entrance into manhood, including a custom made sword. however the end of his happy years was soon nigh. A few months later his parents set out on another routine trading misison ... they found his father washed up on a beach several miles to the north a week later. they tried their best to treat his injuries, but he was bleeding internally and eventually he gave in. the last word he ever managed to utter was a warning about pirates. Ehivano went from ordinary to orphan in less than 30 days.
He was adopted by a family friend, another trader to be exact. his wife had died in a similar circumstance to Ehivano's mothers' so they had a kind of mutual bond. about two years later, the trader was forced to either continue trading or leave Tierm. a trader all his life, he chose the first. Unfortunately, this also forced him to take Ehivano with him. The mission itself was simple enough: Deliver a supply of weapons and arrows to Kuasta, so it could be transported more quickly to Dras-Leona. No one believed that pirates would be stupid enough to attack a ship on a mission for the Empire, but the entire first week of the voyage tensions were so high you could cut it with a knife and eat it.
The second week passed with nothing out of the ordinary. on the dawn of the third week, just when they were starting to feel triumphant, a ship was sighted off their bow. a pirate ship. They attempted to flee, but the pirate ship was not weighed with cargo and therefore faster. they tried to throw the cargo overboard but it was too late, they had been boarded. They turned to the cargo for defense, but to no avail. eventually, almost all the crewmen attempted to jump overboard, thinking they could escape with their lives, but the pirates were merciless. they rained arrows on the helpless crew, killing them all. Luckily for Ehivano, his trader friend had more sense. He threw a small rowboat overboard and plunged in, pulling Ehivano with him. the archers took aim and the sound of bows being drawn was forever carved into ehivano's memory. together they flipped the boat over and dove underwater, using it as protection from the arrows. He and ehivano held tight to what had been the seats and kicked furiously, gaining several feet with each passing seconds. Suddenly it got hot. the pirates had lit an arrow and fired it,engulfing the rowboat in flames. the trader and ehivano continued kicking, every second counted. somehow they made it out of arrow range, whereupon Ehivano lost consciousness. he was found washed on a beach south of tierm, toward sharkstooth, clutching a piece of driftwood even in unconsciousness, but there was no sign of the trader. unlike his father, his injuries were treatable, and eventually he recovered. he tried to resume his previous life but found that he could not even look at the ocean anymore. the second he saw it he started running. he tore out of Tierm's gate and kept running, he had no idea how long he ran, he just ran. Eventually, he collapsed from exhaustion, breathing heavily. he awoke ravenously hungry and realized that he had no ida how to feed himself. he glanced down at the sword at his side, okay so he had a means to hunt, but could he?
Over the period of a few days he managed to teach himself to hunt, it wasn't a choice. having nothing to cook it with, he forced it down raw and drank water directly from a stream. As days turned to weeks his trapping methods became more elaborate and more effective. he could soon effectively feed himself while almost never feeling hungry. despite this fact, at the age of 19 Ehivano had lost everyone that had ever been close to him. It took months, but eventually he came to a revelation: it was the Empire! they didn't do anything about the pirates! thoughts such as this caused a blinding rage to unfurl within him; he now hated the empire and all it stood for. a lucky escape had opened his eyes. he felt he had been chosen to avenge the loss of everyone who had died at the hands of the empire. He was not a rider, but surely one man could make as much difference as a man and a dragon, maybe more. he unsheathed his sword and started off to his destiny.
Anything extra: the sound of bows being drawn was etched into his mind. even the quietest bow echoes like a gunshot in his mind. the second he hears it, he instinctively performs an evasive maneuver.
