"I don't," she murmured lightly, before shaking her head. Two days...that was too long, but with a companion, it might not be too bad. Depending on how things went, of course.
At the question, she started a bit. "Shadeslayer?" The first thing that came to her mind was the very thing the name described. For one to hold such a name...well, it was something almost unheard of. "I have heard that name in passing...and the deeds he did did not go unnoticed either..." Gazeil frowned briefly, "But I have never met him before."
Despite her previously sheltered life, even she had heard of the great rider.

Eärendur sheltered his look of dissapointment when he found out his companion had never met Eragon. Well that makes my task harder thought Eärendur How am I supposed to help someone I can't find?
Eärendur knew now was not the time for that, because the sun had slipped down beyond the Beors, covering the Desert in darkness. Eärendur stopped Elendil and dismounting, turned to Gazeil and said "This is where we shall stop for the night" Eärendur pulled out something from the saddle bag, and gave it to Elendil, before taking off Elendil's saddle.
Placing the blanket that normally went underneath Elendil's saddle on the ground, Eärendur pulled out his sword, and placing it next to him, laid down on the ground. "Milady, what would you say if we were to suddenly switch courses and head to Urû'baen?" Eärendur got a mischevious smile on his face.
If we could find a way into Urû'baen then we have a chance of beating Galbatorix, thought Eärendur. Gazeil as far as he knew, had never been to Urû'baen and wouldn't be recognized, Eärendur though would have a harder time, seeing as he could be spotted as an elf from a mile away, he would just have to trust Gazeil to cover for him if the need arose. They were going to need to start trusting each other if they were both to survive this journey.
(( OOC: Once we leave the Hadarac, you will have earned his trust enough, to tell you his real name, his TRUE name of Fäolin. Eärendur is the name he uses among new people, people who haven't gained his trust yet. If you have a problem with that, just tell me))

OOC: That's perfectly fine ^ ^ Gazeil wouldn't mind about the name thing, though she may be a little miffed at first.
"Fine by me," she shrugged. Her bow was placed onto the ground gently, before she collapsed onto the ground next to Eärendur, "Ahh, my legs hurt..." she grimaced lightly. As soon as she had stopped, she finally realised how tired she actually was. She certainly wasn't going to complain in any case; Eärendur suggested they stop, after all. Well, at least her companion knew when to, unlike some who refused to stop travelling even thought they were exhausted. There was a fine line between perseverance and just plain stupid.
The other's comment caught her attention, and she sat up, "Urû'baen?" She repeated, her brow furrowing slightly. Wasn't that the completel opposite of what the other had said just a few moments ago? "Isn't that were...Galbatorix is?" She wasn't too certain anymore; the tyrant could have moved by now, but she cared not for his actions. Only when it concerned her personally, or anything near her would she take more interest.
"I say..." She paused; Gazeil didn't know what the other was planning, but to suddenly switch courses...there must be some underlying reason. And she wanted to know, "...before I tell you, can you tell me why?"

Eärendur sat up on his elbows, and looking at Gazeil, replied "Urû'baen is the heart of Galbatorix's empire. If we were to find a way into Urû'baen and then somehow make our way to Galbatorix's palace, then we could send message to the Varden, and their job will be alot easier. Also, I can't do it alone milady, you have never been to Urû'baen right? You won't be recognized, but I will be recognized as an elf, and I will need some sort of story as to why I'm there. Anything else, I will need to tell you once we are actually in Urû'baen, for it is complicated."
"Also," began Eärendur "if I'm not much mistaken, Urû'baen is the same as it was during the Battle of Ilirea, just more heavily guarded. I know the ins and outs of Urû'baen, but like I said I will need someone to shield me from the questions as to why an Elf is in Urû'baen. So, what do you say milady?"

Gazeil listened carefully with as much concentration as she could. "No, I haven't been there..." she answered in response to the question, before realising that the other meant it as a rhetorical inquiry. Shrugging to herself, she listened a little more before finally processing what the other was saying. She was about to ask what kind of story he had in mind, then decided that it didn't matter much. Well, actually it did, but the hybrid wondered if that would come under 'anything else' that the elf would tell her about.
Eärendur seemed serious about this, and she contemplated for a little while in her mind. What were the benefits? Well, there were quite a lot to start with, but there was also the danger part. And that was what helped make up her mind the most.
Gazeil shot a glance at her companion, "I say 'sounds like fun'." she grinned impishly.

Eärendur looked at Gazeil, and then said "Good. Once it is light, we will head to the heart of Galbatorix's Empire. I notice you were using the Ancient Language in our fight with the soldiers. Who taught you?"

Gazeil nodded in response. When it was light...ah yes, then the fun would begin. But first, she would have to train herself to know that it was either kill or be killed. She didn't want another repetition of what had occurred moments ago. She leaned back, a little, watching the slight moon as it appeared slowly.
"I had a few tutors," she answered simply, "None could get more than the basics through this thick skull of mine," she grinned, reaching a hand up to tap her head. But it wasn't a sarcastic or joking reply; it was the truth.

((OOC: Sorry for the late reply, my computer was down.))
Eärendur smiled briefly and then said "Milady, I shall teach you the Ancient Language, for you will need it on our journey. But first, I must reveal something to you, for you have earned my trust, my true name is Fäolin Nädindel. But once in Urû'baen, you shall call me Agaetí, for the safety of yourself and I."
