Several years after Glasar was born his father left and took Glasar's older brother with him. His sister and his mother had to fend for themselves because he was to young to do anything to help. (About age 5) They had finally saved up enough money and bought a very small house and lived their for quite a while. As Glasar grew older it was a extremely rough life and also living very poor lives. They scraped for money barely having enough to feed themselves for a week. As Glasar grew older he decided he would try to make a bow so he could start hunting for food. As the years went on he was able to handle a bow so he was the family's main income on food. And with that responsibility he had to be at the top of his game. He became very proficient with his bow, and he saved up some money to buy his first sword. It was very much but it was a sword which meant another challenge to learn. Getting so much pressure put on him meant it eased his family's life but burdened his, but it was his family and he would do anything for his family.
On the morning of April 27 Glasar woke up, he was excited because it was his 16th birthday. He found both his mother and sister in the kitchen. They hugged him and told him happy birthday. Then they gave him his gift. It was a bag of silver coins, and when he saw it his jaw dropped and refused to take it. They could use that for things much more important than for him to waste it. His mother refused and he ended up taking the bag. He was so excited he ran into his room and got fully dressed and almost ran out the door. But he remember and ran back and gave his mom a kiss on the cheek and said thank you. Glasar made his way to Aberon to go buy two swords that he saw one day when he went to trade with the butcher. As he walked up the city gates he looked off to the side of the road and thought he saw something behind a row of bushes. He trailed off the road and peaked around them. He saw a big group of men, and they must have been bandits. Glasar scared by the mass of people went back to the road to go buy his duel swords. On his way out of the city he didn't see the men behind the bushes so he just made his way home with a big smile on his face and the two swords on his back...
As Glasar was walking down the street he saw smoke in the air which he thought it was nothing more then someone lighting a fire in the fireplace. But as he got closer and closer to his house he got a bad feeling so he quickened up his pace of walking. As the smoke got thicker and bigger in the sky the more worried he became until he came around the bend to see his house on fire. After the first initial shock he dead sprinted over to his house and knocked the door down which with the adrenaline pumping he didn't realize he had hurt his shoulder. He looked through the house with it all ablaze but could not find his mother and sister. So he went to his room and grabbed his bow and arrows. He was about to leave until he turned around and grabbed a box from under his bed. Glasar was getting very nervous because he kept getting hit with ambers, but he relaxed opened the box and grabbed something out of it and ran outside. As he stood outside sorrow and grief began to overtake him. But then that sorrow and grief turned into pain and to hatred. He looked down to his hand and opened it and he held a necklace with that letter G on it that was left for him from his father. He put it around his neck and realized what he must do for revenge for his family, he would find who did this and kill them...
He searched for tracks and found some, and it was a big group which then flashed back to the big group waiting outside of the city. As he followed the tracks it became dark and the only light he could use was the moon light which thankfully was a full moon that night. As he walked down the road he saw the track trail off of the road so he followed and then heard laughter and voices. Glasar was not a very skilled warrior but he was a hunter. But right now he was not thinking of how to hunt, he was thinking about how these men killed his family. So foolishly he charged with his bow ready shooting two of them in the neck by the time they knew what was happening. He looked and there were still 8 more of them all around. As they charged him, he shot two more and pulled out his duel swords as they came upon him. He was overwhelmed so he turned and sheathed his swords and pulled his bow again. He ended up shooting 6 more of them leaving one left. Glasar was exhausted and he was out of arrows. This last fight would have to be with swords so he pulled one of his swords and as they fought Glasar got knocked down and the man aimed the sword right at him. As he raised the sword for the final blow Glasar pulled the other sword and stuck him right in his midsection. Glasar stood up victorious in this unimaginable fight. He sheathed on sword and as he bent down to pick of the other he realized that there were ten bandits and he only killed 9... With that thought in his mind he looked behind him to see the blade coming down at him slicing him across the chest from the right shoulder to the left midsection. The bandit looked at the boy and left to grab whatever he could salvage from everyone that just died. As Glasar laid there he strangely thought of only one person and that was his father and eventually he blacked out.
He woke up to be in a camp of bandits but it was a different camp. Glasar become quickly confused until a man a few years older then him came up to him and explained that they had found him laying in the camp almost dead and their magic user healed his wounds as best he could. The strange man told him he was welcome to stay and so he did. Glasar lived with them for 3 years learning the ways of this interesting group of people. He learned to use his duel swords extremely well along with a new bow. He also received a few hidden knives. Glasar planned on leaving for quite a while and he decided that he would leave. As a parting gift the magic user of the village gave him a gift. It was a short sword, but astonishingly the blade was black as night and the hilt was pure silver. Glasar could say nothing to reveal how he felt. He bowed and hugged him. He said his goodbyes and headed off on his own traveling from town to town looking to work, kill, or steel for money. As long as he stayed alive he was happy traveling the world... (hope thats better???)
Anything extra: I kind of left my character in a neutral place right now considering I'm not in a RP yet. So i figure i would leave him for growth considering weather or not everyone accepts him and depending of what RP i can join if anyone can use me. And i was wondering if it was possible for him to become a magic user later on if need be in case its needed for a RP. And i hope you like him
