Hair: Raven colored, a mixture of blue and black that reaches down to her ankles when not done up
Weight: (minus hair) 130

Magic User: Yes. She delves almost exclusively in prophecy, a latent gift in her bloodline, and as a result the color of her eyes have been bleached from the strain of seeing into the future by the command of the King.
Clothing: She wears the long robes of a preistess when in the Palace; elsewhere she wears the rich clothing befitting her royal station, her hair is usually braided when outside.
Preferred Weapon(s): She has a single rapier and quarterstaff, but has been trained by the masters in all weapons.
Personality: Light and airy, Verin is eternally happy, a defense mechanism born from seeing so much death and destruction through her visions. She always is seen with a smile on her face, except when she has to deliver a particularly dark or deadly prophecy to the recipient.
Likes/Dislikes: She loves seafood, horseback riding, astronomy, fire, any color involving greens, blues, and reds. Also yearns to live among elves or those who have been around elves, for their natural immortality prevents her from seeing anything bad about their futures.
Absolutely dislikes fanatics, witch-doctors, slavery, and
those people who mistreat animals.
Family: Mother: Serenas (deceased in childbirth)
Father: Eodwhin, 65, elder statesman
Brief History: Born motherless into a family that was well-to-do, Verin never had to see the atrocities that were carried out throughout the Empire, until the fatefull day when she was five, and she saw a cat that she had recently adopted off the street being crushed by an onrushing horse, a day before it happened. When she told her father, tears coursing down her face, he was immensly concerned and sent for a scholar in the study of magic. The scholar concluded that Verin had been born with the gift of true prophecy, and she was immediately taken away from her father and made to live inside the palace as the newest toy of the King. She was tutored by the wisest men the Empire held, and even some magic users on the finer aspects of her power. Soon she was able to stretch her gaze through time, to see the outcomes of battles that may never have been held. She always reported what she saw, no matter what the outcome of the results. She was never consulted on the Battle of the Burning Plains, or the Battle of Farthen Dur. She maintained neutrality while serving the Empire through the belief in the Varden's ability to win battle after battle, despite the odds. It gave her a sense of hope to escape the cage that had been gilded for her. So she decided to escape, using her gift to find when she would be unguarded, and slipped out of the city unchallenged. Now, she has forsaken her ties to the Imperial Court, and is in search of the Varden, the people of her visions...
Anything extra: Has a habit of becoming infatuated with male magic users, through no fault of her own; it's just hardwired into her from her magical addiction to prophecy.
