Trivia Competition Rules.

I'll try for a quiz of about 30-50 questions. Every two months or so. On 'Eragon' and 'Eldest.' And the third book when it comes out.
It will be a mix of T/F, MC, 'Essay' questions, and maybe some matching. It depends on how the questions get written. A quiz may be only MC and 'Essay.' Or any other combination I feel like using. tee hee.
The winner will get a pretty banner. Made by me. Or one of my ickle minions.
But yeah. I'll be getting that banner. So, no worries.
And maybe an avatar to go with the pretty banner.
If anyone wants to submit questions, you can. But you can't participate in the competition.
I will be writing the questions myself. Along with one of my minions. Whowas roped in by me for borrowing my book graciously deceided to help me. She is not a member of this site. She doesn't know it exists. Well...now she does. lol.
A portion of the questions will require analysing and thinking to a degree. Basically, the answer will not be straight from the book. It will require thinking, to take the information you've read, and come to a conclusion.
You MAY NOT use your books or any site on the internet. You can only use your head. This is a test of your memory and how well you know 'Eragon' and 'Eldest.' Not how well you can grab your book and look up an answer.
Sides, some people don't own a copy of the book.
Some parts will say provide evidence from the book. But you can't use your book. So, when asked to provide evidence/examples from the book, it can be vague. But not terribly vague, like, 'He went somewhere and gave her something.' I will not accept that. I would accept. 'He met Jane at her house, he gave her flowers' Even if in the book it said, 'Bob met Jane at 600 S Water Way and gave her daisies and roses'
I'm not asking for detail. I just want to see if you know your stuff.
After the quiz is posted by me, I do not want people posting, 'That was hard!' or 'That was super easy!' or anything. You post nothing after that quiz. Cuz I'm gonna post results after 3-4 days. Then you can post your congrats and thoughts on tat quiz.
You WILL NOT be posting your answers to the questions in the thread. PM them to me when you finish. I will post the answers when the quiz time or w/e is over. I will post the results after I go over all the quizzes.
If there is a tie...we will have a tie breaker! B/c those are fun. A separate quiz thing.
The first quiz will be up by October 1st at the latest.
I think that's it. I'll post more rules and stuff later. Just thought I'd let you guys know about the book thing. B/c some may want to re-read. *evil grin*
