She likes attention, but she hates being out on the spot. She is a careful speaker and thinks through before saying something.
Likes/Dislikes: below
Likes: Cirtolthiel likes to follow the action. She loves to travel and be on the move, which is why she is fit to be a messenger. She enjoys running and climbing, as well as swimming. She loves her father dearly, as he is her only family left. Archery and sword-fighting has also been among her favorites. And of course, faelnirv is her all-time favorite drink.
Dislikes: Cirtolthiel's dislikes include rash-acting people, getting lost (although it is rare), and being a leader. She also hates Urgals (no matter if they are allies) because they slaughtered her mother. Also, she was raised to hate the Empire, and does so. She also doesn't like cloudy days and humid days.
Strengths: Cirtolthiel is a master in combat and archery. Swift and strong, she makes a good warrior. Her main weapon that she uses is an elven sword (not a Rider's sword) that is indestructible. She uses magic through her sword. Her strongest spell is brisingr; its power is worthy of a star. She is an expert in stealth, so she often is assigned to spying the Empire when in imperial cities. Cirtolthiel is extremely trustworthy; she tells no secrets.
Weaknesses: She has some weaknesses, such as taking things too personally sometimes and overanalyzing things said to her or just situations. Also, when there is a cry for help she always feels the need to go back and provide help wherever she can. She can be vunerable when enemies mention her loss during her childhood. And, she is a follower, not a leader.
Family: Mother, Nioniel - killed by Urgals when travelling to Teirm.
Father, Carsuithon - alive and lives in Ellesmera in the Tialdari Hall (elder elf-lord)
Brief History: Born to Nioniel and the elf-lord, Carsuithon, Cirtolthiel was raised in Ellesméra, in the House of Eruwaedhiel. The Eruwaedhiel family is ancient - going back for six centuries. Her mother was a messenger for Queen Islanzadi, but was killed when Cirtolthiel was 25 by roaming Urgals. It is still unknown if a Shade was among them. Either way, the Elves lost one of its best messengers.
Deeply affected by her loss, Cirtolthiel left to pursue training in other cities. Her father, even more stricken by Nioniel's death, left Ellesméra for a decade and disappeared within the depths of Du Weldenvarden. He eventually came back to find Cirtolthiel gone - the only thing she had left was a letter telling him where she had left to. Her father was surprised, but did not pursue after her. He went back to Queen Islanzadi and became part of the Council, where he still is today.
Seventy years later, Cirtolthiel returned from the long, strenuous training. She had mastered archery and combat, and learned that she had a gift - incredible speed, even for an elf. Her father welcomed her back to the House of Eruwaedhiel with open arms - he had missed her dearly, as she had missed him. To Carsuithon, it had felt like losing another family member when she was gone. Cirtolthiel, now much older and mature, chose to uptake her mother's former post as a messenger. Being 95, she was still relatively young for an elf, and a decade later, she was accepted under the Queen's command. The Fall of the Riders was probably part of her appointment to a messenger, as the Varden was still weak.
Ever since her appointment 44 years ago, Cirtolthiel gained a lot of trust and reliability from Queen Islanzadi. Her main jobs inclue delivering messages, doing some undercover work, and also fighting on the battlefields.
