Name:Leatri
Other Names:Argetlam, Shurtugal (if this is accepted, I hope it is ^^)
Race:Elf
Side:Neutral
Birthplace:Ellesmera
Age:80
Family:Mother Andume
Father:Unknown
Gender:Male
Birthday:February 11th
Eyes:Looking into Leatri's eyes were like looking into a sea, it was deep and calm and forgiving. Light blue
Hair:He blond hair that was like a mane, reaching a little under his shoulders.
Weight:Rather light and lithe, like a werecat.
Height:6'2
Magic User:Yes, he had been taught by Blodhgarm and Arya.
Preferred Weapon:Leatri had a Rider's Sword named Thringa and a pair of knives. Thringa (rain) was made aqua-blue same as Agaravel's scales and crafted from Brightsteel made by Rhunon herself. The elegant blade was aqua-blue until the cross-guard which was hinted with gold.
Appearance:Laetri was handsome even in Elven standards and in an experiment of magic he had learned from Blodgharm accidentally caused a sort of invisible-always-lasting perfume causing females to be attracted. Sadly it extended even to dragons. He realized happily however it didn't extend to Elves. He usually wore a fine Elven Garment made by Arya as his 50th birthday. It was enchanted so that even if he was to out-grow it, it would grow back to his size. He, sometimes gladly, sometimes sadly, had no scars to show off to his friends.
Personality:Leatri was most forgiving and one would say that while they looked into his eyes they would find the knowledge of a sage, and forgiveness. However, he had little tolerance for those who attempted to breach his mind. After being taught by Arya and Blodgharm his mind was almost as strong as Arya's however she always bested him unless she allowed him to win. He was muscular, yet thin and lean. He was also sympathetic towards the Varden, though he did not wish to join them, he didn't agree in their way of war.
Likes:Laetri loves walking around flowers singing to them in the ancient language, causing them to sprout beautifully and he loves to practice his strength with Blodgharm.
Dislikes:Evil, Unjustness, selfishness, those whom are self-centered, meat, Raz'ac (he had a bad history with them)
Strengths:He is very skillful in magic and as he is still younger than most elves, he still contained most of his magical blossom of youth. Skilled swordsman. His speed, capability to endure.
Weaknesses:He is proud and sometimes allows that to stand in his goal, will stop at nothing, even if it costs him his life to save a comrade or friend or family.
Not-So-Brief History:Laetri was born to his mother who quickly had to leave him in the care of Islanzadi, for his mother had to go to the aid of the Riders. Before she left, she kept a golden box with an enchantment only Leatri knew the wordings to open it. "When the time comes..and you shall know when it is time, open this box Leatri, however. If you open it before so then you shall be punished." Partly confused and surprised Leatri agreed and he began nagging at Blodgharm and Arya to teach him how to use magic well and become a skilled swordsman, skilled as they. At first they kept refusing until by accident Laetri with magic had caused a hard sphere of water slam into Blodgharm's head, causing him to fall back hard. Being afraid he was in trouble Laetri ran away but he was quickly caught by the laughing figure of Arya and Blodgharm looked at him surprised and said, "Okay then Laetri, we shall teach you." Laetri had never been as frustrated and intense on himself before. At the age of 14 they started. Arya and Blodgharm would teach him how to use magic and protect his mind while he also attempted to breach their minds. Finally at the age of 79 the Fall had came and he had been afraid. His mother, he later learned had died and when he learned of her death he cried and sobbed a week. He then realized Arya had also left him, she had became the ambassador between the Elves and the Varden. Left alone with Blodgharm Laetri decided that if ever the time was right to open the box, it was now. Blodgharm also agreed he had trained him well enough. Agreeing Laetri went to the tree he had turned into a hut in the deep forest where it would be very hard to find and opened the box. What he saw shocked him so much he jumped up a good 20 feet slamming his head into the roof. Cursing he grabbed the aqua-marine egg. Astonished at how heavy it was he began tracing on it with his finger gently. Then -CRACK- the egg began breaking apart. Laetri quickly laid it down. After it hatched, an aqua-marine dragon appeared with dazzling aqua-blue eyes and looked at him with such love he dissolved into the eyes. Reaching out with his hand the dragon sniffed his hand before head-butting it. His last though before blacking out was "I'm a dragon rider."
Waking up he looked at the dragon. He was taken by the eyes..the eyes themselves said everything; whether it was sad, happy, or mad. He began teaching it how to fight using techniques of his own he learned from his mother and her dragon and come 6 months the dragon began breathing fire and was so large, Laetri in secret had Oromis make him a saddle, when Oromis asked why he needed it Laetri had responded, "An experiment." he had said the truth, just not all of it. He began flying with the dragon he learned was a female and named Agaravel. He then realized he needed a better sword. Frowning Laetri paced around in the hut before Agaravel suggested, "Why not ask Rhunon-elda?" she continued before Laetri could cut her off, "She might have sworn an oath, however that does not stop her from telling you where an extra one is." And so they flew to Rhunon-elda in secret and asked her. She stubbornly refused, however she softened and said, "I have an extra one. It seems to be perfect for you. I forgot it in and island near here." She felt guilty and so made him a shield she made from that brightsteel.Overwhelmed, Laetri made the sign of fealty and said, "Atra esterní ono thelduin, Mor'ranr lífa unin hjarta onr,Un du evarínya ono varda Rhunon-elda." Rhunon-elda smiled in return and they departed, where they found the perfect aqua-blue blade. It was elegant and a sword-and-a-half--Just like Laetri preferred! He grabbed it, it was all in aqua-blue but the crossguard was hued with gold. Silently thanking Rhunon-elda, they left.
