RULES
This board and the members are here to have fun, make good characters, and make a good story. But to do that we need to all follow the rules. So please read these carefully and follow them. If you have concerns or questions please contact staff.
Our story line takes place during the final book in the Inheritance series just after the Varden took over Dras Leona.
Character Creation
1. You must use the outline we've provided. See the sticky in the Create-your-character board. CLICK HERE. There is also a word count requirement, 100 words minimum for Appearance, 100 words minimum for Personality and 200 words minimum for History.
2. All characters must be accepted by staff before you can start roleplaying.
3. Character applications must have proper grammar and be realistic according to the book. No crazy abilities or races that were not in the book or listed in our Playable races board.
4. Members who become inactive with important characters, (canons, leaders, etc), may have their character given to someone else. Unexplained absences of a month or more will result in another member permanently getting the character.
5. You can not apply for Power-Class Races (eldunari, riders, dragons, godlings, dragon spirits). Any other race is fair game. Once a month we give away 2 Power-Class Races, to play one you must win a slot.

General
6. No spamming. This is disruptive and rude.
7. No advertising outside sites, only exception is your profile such as your signature.
8. Language: Don't go too far out with the swearing folks. Keep it PG-13.
9. Rudeness and Attacking members. This is never allowed! Fighting, being rude or attacking other members will get you banned.
Roleplay
10. No god-modding. In other words no invincible/all-powerful characters. This forum is to have fun not a place you aim to win and overpower everyone else. The game should remain fair for everyone.
11. No power-playing. This is when you control someone's character by saying your character hit or did something to them, without allowing them to respond. It would also include if you killed the other member's character. This is not allowed.
12. PG-13 Relationships: Please keep all the relationships PG-13. Do not go posting something graphic and/or R rated.
13. Role-playing: We have a 75-100 word minimum for roleplay posts. Make sure your posts are detailed. We are an intermediate roleplay site. Proper grammar and spelling are required! We have this limit because we want the RPs to be exciting and detailed, as if you were reading the actual book.
14. Realistic: please keep your roleplay realistic according to the Inheritance Trilogy. We don't want non-cannon races running all over or anything else that doesn't fit in the books.
