I think the site should have a sort of threshing-floor board in which members can create disposable or fantasy threads. Included in this could be workshops where members post and other members offer criticism. I have seen this type of board work particularly well for increasing the general skill of members in posting during fighting scenes. Additionally, it can be used as sort of an 'Arena' for fantasy fights or grudge-matches.

hmm, it could work to some extent, but the question is, What about board abuse, some spam, and occassional rantings and people posting things they should not. I'm not saying everyone would, but you get those occassional people who would.

I'd say rely on the admins in some cases and people's common sense. People should be able to handle themselves, ya know?

I shall get on making a board tonight - once I have finihsed posting. I am on holiday - looking after a friend's house for a week so no babysitting, no parents! :] Hooray!
