Tierar of course found the matter highly amusing and began that odd throaty laugh dragons did which shook the Earth with the very vibrations of it. Isse was amazed she managed to control herself and stop short from rolling round on the floor laughing. Issie aimed a mental kick towards her dragon to stop her from laughing and sharply reminded her that the diamond dragon was in no better of a situation when it came to Golden Scales. That stopped Tierar laughing and instead she stood up that little bit taller and half opened her wings in order to show them off a little. She was proud of her looks and in all honesty Issie couldn't blame her. "I think, Glaeran, you need to learn to shield your mind a little better," Issie spoke rather softly, her smile dimpled her cheeks as she looked up at the dragon then leaned back against Tierar who was licking at her talons now. Her eyes cast to Will and she spoke in that beautifully musical way, though Issie made sure to try and make it more bland by glamouring it. "It doesn't matter what you are Will, there should be respect between everyone and anyone unless they have provided you with a reason not to respect them with," she shrugged. "And just because I am an elf and a rider do not assume I am rich nor something, please. I have had my share of misfortunes," her lips twisted slightly down but her eyes remained cool and emotionless. "I've had over a 100 years to get my fair share."

Glaeran sighed with a puff of smoke and a fluttering of his wings. Finally, he said in his growling voice, Sly One, I did not intend to say that for all to hear. Issie, I agree that it is a problem of mine with shielding my thoughts. You and Tierar are indeed more experienced in that area than Zander or I am.

OOC: Sorry, guys! I just noticed how late I was with that reply. Fixed it, though.
BIC: When Tierar began laughing, Will looked sharply at Glaerun. The little dragon hadn't shielded his thoughts! The cloaked figure was blistering with fury, but he resisted the urge to mentally stab Glaerun with a knife. He didn't think it would be very polite. Glaerun, next time we are in private, I will rip one of your tiny little claws out, understand? Will thought to him, forgetting that the golden scaled dragon was technically his superior. "Your right, I suppose. It's not like Dragon Riders are nobles or anything. In fact, most Riders were of lowly state before they became Riders, as Eragon has proved. Being picked by a dragon is very special, though. There's always that. Anyways, I'm going to practice archery," Will said. He went to the side of the house, grabbed his quiver and his bow, and went to the other side of the house. He used magic to paint a bulls-eye on the wood of the run-down building. Then, Will let an arrow fly and it hit the target in the middle. The young man smiled. Archery always cheered him up.

Glaeran rumbled his own laugh. It was funny how a human thought he could hurt him. I don't doubt that you are upset. It upsets me that I made such a blunder as that. Now have a good practice with your archery. Not for the first time, Glaeran wished he could breathe fire. It was not his time yet, so it was only a hope.

Will let loose another arrow. The arrow sliced through the first one with ease. He grabbed five more with his fingers and shot each one in quick succession. Each one sliced through the other. Not fully satisfied, Will looked around for something he could use as a dummy. He saw a wooden pole and a sack of flour not to far off. His gaze strayed to a nearby bush. Will drew his sword and approached the bush. He crouched and cut off two thin strips of wood. The cloaked figure sheathed his sword and walked back to the pole and flour. He heaved the bag of flour off the ground and pushed it against the pole. Using energy from the bush, Will enhanced his strength to keep the flour in position with one hand while he used the other to tie the strips around the bag to form an X shape. He looked around and saw another, smaller sack of flower. He hauled that onto his shoulder, set it on top of the larger bag, and melded them both together with magic and energy from the plant. Slightly exhausted, Will leaned against the pole while he gained his breath. "Do any.... of you want... to join me?" Will asked, panting.

Glaeran heard Zander's remark about the feast. I will attempt to return Young One. The rider and dragon that followed us are sitting there ready to rejoin from my perspective. Glaeran turned to Will and Issie before he took off for the feast. At least this would be a little more interesting than sitting around.

Will looked at Issie. "If he's going, I'm going." Will waited to catch his breath, than pounded after Glaerun. He had to stop frequently, as he was tired from using magic. On one of his stops, Will smiled grimly. He had used that magic for nothing and wasted his strength. I'll never do that again! he thought. Halfway to the keep, he was to tired to continue. He extended trendils of thought back to the abandoned house. Gently, Will impressed the urge to come to Ranger. It didn't take long for the small horse to come bounding up to the teenager. With a grunt, Will swung on to the trusty animal and dug his heels into the animal's sides. Ranger made the sound that all horses make and bounded down the road once again. Within several minutes, the keep came into sight. "Whoa, boy," Will coaxed. Ranger slowed to a stop. Will dismounted and the horse went off to find some grass to naw on. The little man walked to the wall of the keep and swarmed up it like a spider. He swiftly jumped into the window and landed on the floor. Several people looked over. "What did I miss?" he asked.
